Just as a point of interest, when I split from this deranged old c***, I left her with my car, a mortgage free house worth approx £130K today (to which I was entitled to half, should I have decided to sell which I didn’t as I didn’t want to see my kids who were small at the time go through any more s**t) and paid her in cash, every month, on the nail in cash. NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU GET RECEIPTS IF YOU PAY THIS WAY!!!!! Otherwise, you are f******* once the CSA get involved. As we all know, the scales are well and truly weighed in the favour of the mother as a PWC and it’s your word against hers.

Then, when my personal circumstances took a bit of a downturn - as sometimes they do, that’s life - and I asked her for a short period of grace, whilst I got stuff sorted out (like somewhere for me to live and a job - failry essential stuff I tink you’ll agree) the f******** bitc* gets the CSA onto me! I got the usual phone call back in 2005, when they announced themselves as the DWP and effectively ambushed me. They then said they are actually the CSA and so the horror began.

I’m now getting stuffed for nearly £400 a month (I earn £1k per month tops, If I’m lucky - and out of that remaining £600 I have to find rent of £350, plus food, plus travel, plus bills ) plus £6K’s worth of alleged “arrears”, wherever the f*** they’ve come from.

I have asked repeatedly for a written breakdown of all DEO’s paid since 2005 and details fo these arrears. Essentially, I want to know EXACTLY what I am paying for and how it’s been calculated, which I think is fair enough. However, when I speak to these f***wits I must be doing-this in Serbo-Croat or something because I still haven’t had anything back, bar the usual half arsed stock email response and a string of discussions with a variety of brain dead retards who just baffe me with 5th rate bull s*** and tell me I need to speak to my employer for guidance. FFS!!!!

BTW, the “poor deprived male children in question are 18 and 17yrs and bone idle. On top of that, Mummy has done a sterling job in turning them totally against me bacause I do not meet my financial obligations to them suffciently. As I may have posted before, they have two foreign holidays this year, a new plasma telly and a computer amongst other things. I live in a one bed sh**hole in Gun Central wioth no cnetral heating and I have to do all my emails and computer s*** when I am at work, which was six days but is now going to go to 7, purely so I can afford to exist, let alone live. If anyone can tell me this system is fair and right and prove it to me I would willingly perform oral on them, regardless of gender, for a whole day…………………….

My story starts a little over 5 years ago when I split with my ex. On the day that we filnally split I gave her cash in hand asked if she can provide me with a receipt which she flatly refused. For a quiet life I didn’t ask for a receipt again to save the argument. I also continued paying cash in hand (I know, not very wise) mainly due to the fact that my ex couldn’t get out of the house to the cash machine as often as it was needed (she has another child who is profoundly disabled). I don’t earn a lot of money and paid my ex £120 per month, however sometimes I couldn’t pay anything due to other commitments but this happened maximum 6-7 times other the last 5 years. I also had my child with my weekends and some weekdays unless I was working and, during the first year and a half, also had her older disabled daughter.

Shortly aftr me and my ex parted ways the CSA contacted me and I filled out their forms and sent supporting documents as requested then heard nothing for to years. I continued to pay my ex cash in hand for her on convenience but didn’t get receipts. Then after two years the CSA contacted me again and I advised them that I had already provided the details they needed and that my ex and I agreed that I pay her directly. They person handlin my case said that was ok but sent me forms again which I completed and returned. I heard nothing from the CSA until 2008 when they wrote my ex asking for my details i.e. where I work, how much I earn, do I drive etc. My ex gave me the letter and I called them and put them straight. Again I heard nothing from the CSA until two weeks ago when they wrote to me saying that they are going to court to get to me?????

Upon getting this letter I called the CSA to advise them that I had been paying cash in hand for over 5 years and that this was advised to them 3 years ago and this was accepted. They said that they will put a halt on court proceddings and contact my ex for clarification. Now my ex is disputing that I had been paying her cash in hand monthly, to add to that she is stating that I only paid FIVE TIMES!!!!

I know that it was a stupid thing not to get receipts but I had set up an account for my child but only starting using it in earnest in 2008. Now CSA is demanding £9210.00. I presently live with my child (for 6 months now) and I honeslty cannot afford to take on any other debts. I don’t earn a lot and already in debt. Is there anything I can do or suggestions to manage this situation?????

I then a few month later discovered her working with the new guy as escort services, for which I took her to court and ended up loosing 1 days access rights per week to my daughter. Since she left I have always paid maintenance for my daughter. I have since met someone else and we now have a baby daughter ourselves and when the baby was born I reassessed my maintenance payments based on an online CSA calculator and paid accordingly. Ex has now gone direct to the CSA and hell has started.

Until last night I have had no correspondence from the CSA and no knowledge they where looking into me. Then last night I get a call on my way home saying that they have looked into my finances and calculated my payments!! But how is this?? I have not given them any information as they have not requested any. It turns out they have contacted my employer direct stating that under no circumstances should my employer tell me they have been contacted by the CSA and that my employer legally must pass on my financial details under section 14 of the child support act.

Sadly my employer has done this knowing no different. I work in sales and a large % of my income in commission based and the CSA have taken my best months and calculated my payments from this. They have not taken into account any expenses I incur even from the previous relationship.

it is now the 2000 and serving in northern ireland on whitch i was recieving danger money for being over there the good old csa in there wisdom decided to take the extra money into account and take it of me it was a 4 month tour however they forgot to stop taking the extra money when i returned to the mainland. Mid tour i had an interview in lytham with a case worker called andy ,my currant partner came as well the interview started and we spoke on differant topics the one comment that stuck in my mind was that tracy my partner would be better to leave me, how rood was that we were both gobsmacked.things was sorted out and came to a figure that was more comfatable to survive,payments where met untill june 2006 and i informed the csa that i would be leaving the army on the 19th june.

this was great a new start in civvi street my to girls have left school no more csa.WHAT A MISTAKE settled down in our new house 6 months later postman came shock horrer it was the dreaded csa stating a tracing action had been done on me.the letter stated that child maintenance had not been paid since june 06 i informed them that i was under the impression that my 2 girls had left school so why have i got to pay.the next letter was bailliff action or remorgage and could i pay the sum of £6,500.00 off.after this thing went down hill, we both went to CAB they had communication with the csa and asked for an account breakdown witch we recieved,we then had a face to face interview with a case worker called denise coyle from the csa she informed me the was a shortfall from 2000 of £79 pcm we informed her that in 94 to 95 we was paying £315 however this was’nt on the breakdown she come armed with another breakdown whitch was different from the one of CAB they they had sent.

denise coyle pionted us in the dirrection of ICE who then took us on board and started to look into our case.months and months or letters and phone calls to ICE and to the CSA to martin connor, i wrote the first letter to martin connor he replied but i had to reply within a certain time however the was a postal strike on so noing the way the CSA work i hand delivered the letter to great western hse walked arround the buildind as it was the nightime waving at the cctv noing they would deny getting this letter stating how do i no that you dont owe me the £6.500.00.

shore enough i phoned the CSA up as no reply was sent to me. youve guessed it we did not get the letter, i said i beg to differ look at your cctv coverage on the said time and date you will see me walking round your building with o yes mr edwards we have found it however never got a reply.We received a letter of ICE stating the no arrers in 1999 so the socalled arrears came after99 i told them i was out of work this took 2 and1/2 years for them to take off £1670 they admitted that it was partley the csa fault HOWEVER ive have still to pay the outstanding balance they sent another breakdown witch was different from the first 2 witch was also different 3 breakdowns 3 different amount mmmm how can you have 3 breakdowns for the same account reading different sums.

our next step was to request our data protection in 2007 this was interesting reading as well as breakdown of accounts number 4 well what a surprise another different figure we sived through mountains of paperwork from the data this brought out more conflicting info. O/C,no more payment to be made 2004,W/O acti!
on £4,434.34 so i spoke to ice of my finding yet again but to no avail.

my next step i wrote to my mp he the wrote to steve geraghty for him to do a full investigation on witch was done but not by him, its was the boffins at great western hse of course everything was correct by there standards. (dont think so!!)we have wrote to the onbudsman his reply was for ice to close the case down and he would look at it still waiting.so i am now at the pressent day, ive served in ireland for over 3 year in the hard area’s also served in iraq just after the war health great no problems. different story now high blood pressure loads of time of due to stress and other stress related illness boy it was well worth putting my life on the line to be shafted good style by CSA.

we then put in for a second data protection, this was even better reading they have slipped another child in for me to support how nice of them to think of me in this way had another face to face with a lovely case worker that came with yes you guessed another breakdown it took my trained eye within milli seconds to find another cockup but only for £979.00 Jo Heffy explained to me when i had my assement in2004 this was when my arrears come from how strange my last assement was in 2000 she swore black was blue i did i said to her show me on your b/d were this was ,as it wasnt on the b/d what a farse.after taking 3 personal calls the lovely case worker left and days later she had sent her finding of her interview according to her she told me that i had £13.35 arrears only how strange iam paying £151 pcm deo so we looked at the 2nd data closer and low and behold £13.35 per week for the other child they slipped in but not to worry i finnish paying for this child in 2025.

for adding a child thats not mine the graet amount they have exseld themselve with this one £25 for the inconvinience, O/C £647 £1061 £5.68 £736 £111 £132 UNENFORCABLE DEBT £2000 there are more cockups but to many this is SKIMMING THE TOP OF THE ICE.

Unfortunatley a majority of women use the system as a gravy train and this will only ever change when the current system is abolished and a sensible system put into place’.

Not sure this is a man/woman issue, the resident parent can be man or woman.

I disagree with the ‘gravy train’ concept. I’m almost starting to think the CSA is a deliberately disfunctional system designed to protect the wealth of the filthy rich.The Appeals service? What’s that? Twice they’ve ‘lost’ my ‘Appeals booklet’, now they want me to provide them with another ? That can’t be right!!

Perhaps CSA minimum standards/objectives would be useful on the CSA web-site. Some kind of ‘Charter’. It would help in that people would feel more well informed and more ‘in control’ of the process and therefore less likely to throw themselves off bridges!!! Case workers would also be less likely to ‘fob’ customers off and would get things right first time.

Does anyone know of a group I can join to help lobby the Government for improved services generally within the CSA system, especially in terms of efficiency and accuracy of handling claims?

on this issue alone with the constant demonization of non-custodial parents put in this dispeakable category are guilty by virtue of Gods word (that would go for any of us ),

Even if what anyone would say about a non-custodial parent is true, somone is going to do 1 of 3 things to enage me to hate someone in the name of children when we employ such low life words as ‘Deadbeat’ so here is the 3 things someone would do when they want to talk trash about someone and try to justify it at someone’s expense.

#1 Tell me what they did for Christ to restore (not Destroy) such a one in the spirit of meekness as pre-scribed in Gods word of Gal 6:1 (KJV).

If they think that a child costs £70 per week to feed, clothe etc.. then why do the government only give them around £18 per week for child tax credits? Because this is what the law says it costs per child per week.

I told the CSA today that i can understand why their is men committing suicide and if they take anything off me then i will be another mark on their blackboard too as i refuse to pay them money only to find that my child doesn’t get ALL of it, they take their cut out for wages and give my sons monther the rest, only to find that she uses it for herself to go out and get pissed on a weekend and new clothes and holidays etc, my child is still walking around with lcothes too smal for him and she is now in designer clothes!! FFS what is going on??

I think that a childs parent should be given clothes vouchers to spend in a childs clothes shop and some food vouchers too, so the mother cant go and get pissed and smoke herself stupid on our money!!

Also so she gets less i signed on the dole like the rest of the ponces too, this way i will have more money for myself and also means i can actually have some money to treat my son as i used too when he’s here and buy him clothes too that his mother wont cos she’s a lazy shit!

I have always received the payments on the same date every month. This money has always been an extra for my son as I had a well paid job and wasn’t struggling financially. I was made redundant earlier this yr and was unable to claim benefits due to my sons CSA payments. After arguing about this…. as I have 2 children from my 1st relationship (whose father is severely disabled an unable to work, so they receive nothing!) and don’t see why my sons father should pay for them, was told it was tough, my CSA was income!!

The CSA decide to send my payments clerical (Bolton office - incompetent liars) and low and behold they start telling me that he hasn’t paid. Confused, yes me too as it comes straight from his employer. So I’m panicking as now my CSA is classed as my income and I have no idea how I’m going to pay the bills….. they tell me it will be sorted and my payment will go in next month.

Next month arrives and still no payment! After crying down the phone, worried about losing my car, having my phone cut off etc I am finally told he has paid and it is on the wrong system… it will only take 15 days for it to arrive!!!! I’m then told it will be sorted for the month after and the payment will ‘bounce’ into the new system….. I’m left feeling relieved that it is sorted and manage to hold off my bills for a few wks until the money arrives.

Again the next month the same thing happens, have to yet again cancel my direct debits and phone companies who by now dont believe that I havent been paid again! Another bout of crying, stress…. now I’m covered in stress rashes (which still havent gone, even now!) and told they will do what they can! The money turns up 15 days later!

Luckily I’m back in work and have been for a few months and so my sons money is not such an issue as it was when it became a necessity and I still have to ring up and rant and rave until it is sorted. Last week I was told it would be in my bank by today and then today have been told….. guess what? It will take 15 days!!

I have asked to speak to the manger and complain and was told they wouldnt take a complaint until after the 15 days but only if the money didnt turn up and when I said I’m complaining about the last 6 months was told to write to Bolton, to which I replied Why would I write to the place I am complaining about, they lie and tell you what you want to hear and then say they have done stuff they havent.

I do feel sorry for a lot of you dads out there, after reading some of the complaints on here you are getting a rough deal but there are genuine mums like me who are trying to do the best for their kids and would love their kids to have loving dads in their lives. I work hard and my son gets the majority of his CSA spent on his clubs not on things for myself.

The CSA needs to be sorted out for both parents!!
