Just started a new site dedicated to teaching how to make money from surveys. The site is called aw-surveys.info and it talks about how to succeed with AW Surveys and Maximum Paid Surveys.

Joining AW Surveys is free. Maximum Paid Surveys requires you to pay for signing up, but the potential earnings are greater.

Making money from surveys is not easy. It requires hard work, but it definitely pays off in the long run. You can earn a lot from referrals, if you start a blog. Once your blog is well promoted through search engine optimization, then you will get a steady stream of income every month, whether or not you continue to work on your blog.

Trying, Condiments, Training

Trying my best after that mistake. Planning to send an apology on it before the weekend is over.

Condiments
I seem to have developed a liking for condiments, especially lately, every time I go out to eat at 2am. I would pour various condiments on the rice and viands every time I get the opportunity.

Training
Looking forward to handling a training class tomorrow. I really enjoy preparing for seminars and classes. I try my best to make things simple, so that everyone will be able to grasp the concepts.

Mistakes, Anger, and Writing

Mistake
I made a stupid mistake, one that is due to my being lax and overly comfortable with having a relaxed pace in dealing with things. Despite this, I am standing up, aiming to learn from the mistake and move on. What's done is done. I can only deal with the consequences in the best way that I am able to.

There were a lot of things that passed my thoughts--blame on others, blame upon myself, and the uncomfortable tomorrow that will come. I am certain of one thing, though. It is that there is still something that I can do. That thing is to accept the mistake, forgive myself, and apologize to those affected.

On the other side of the day...

The AT&T agent and an angry client
I watched a video on YouTube. Not really a 'video', but an audio recording with a static picture of a call center agent. It was the recording of the conversation that happened between an AT & T call center agent and a very angry customer.

This recording disturbed me. I could really feel the anger in the customer's voice. It was very clear that he could not hold himself back anymore. He rained curse after curse upon the poor call center agent, and the tone was such that it made even my blood boil. I felt the heat, despite me just being an observer. Half the time, I was expecting the customer to have a heart attack with how angry he was.

Call center agents are just doing their jobs. I could see no fault in the call center agent, except that he just accepted all the blows and the angry tone. I hope there would be a law or regulation that would improve situations for call center agents, because certainly, if one is weak hearted, then it's not gonna be healthy for a person to work in a call center when customers like those exist.

Back to writing...
I'm practicing writing various stuff on a notebook again. This is to exercise my skills so it would be easier to get back to working on my very first novel.

This is one of my first blogs. It is hosted for free at blogger. Currently, this is the blog that I am monetizing. It is sort of a prototype for the Work From Home website I mentioned above. This blog is currently getting 800 page views a month.

This blog is the hub for all my other Blogger sites. I use it to monetize for SocialSpark and PayPerPost, and mostly for announcements and miscellaneous topics. Currently getting over 400 pageviews a month.

I monetize this site for Project Wonderful. It's getting an average of 470 pageviews a month. It's basically about anime that I've watched.

This is my own domain for my personal blog and portfolio. I haven't spent much time for this, but I do my best to make quality articles. Currently getting 271 page views every month. The theme for the topics on this blog is more on happy things.

Acobay.com is a new networking site that allows you add content and build your network of friends, hobbyists, and people who share similar interests. It's a social networking website.

Pros. I've tried their website and found that it's very easy to join. You don't have to share your email address, so you don't have to worry about spam or such. The registration is quick and easy, and after you fill in the information, you can immediately use the features of their website.

You can even post stuff regarding your blog or website, just as I did here: http://www.acobay.com/stuff/299745/topic. It's totally free to do so. You can post your hobbies, or anything under the sun as they have hundreds of different categories where you can post your content to.

Cons. One aspect that I think could use some improvement is the way users post their articles. Right now there's no way to format the article. As a web designer, I am aware that there are ready-to-use codes to add formatting functionality so users can easily format their content. I think this would appeal more to users like me, who are particular about the format of what I'm writing. Being able to bold, italicize, align, and use different font size to best match my needs is a great add on.

Conclusion. Despite this, all in all, Acobay is a great website. Thanks Acobay for this wonderful service!

Plans for the New Year

For this new year, I'm planning on doing a lot. More action and work, less on planning. Overplanning leads to paralysis. Right now, I think the best course is to plan once, and decide on it. Making the plan simple also helps, as the more complicated it gets, chances are many of my assumptions won't really hold true when the time comes. So the plan falls.

December 26, 2008. Die SCUM of the world.

This is in response to the sickening actions of Nasser Pangandaman, Jr. the Mayor of Masiu City, Lanao del Sur. On December 26, 2008, a father aged 56, and his son 14 were beat up in the presence of their daughter. It happened in Valley Golf and Country Club, Antipolo City over a dispute. The Mayor showed disrespect to the family when he overtook their flight several times. It is the proper etiquette that if you overtake the flight of golfers who have initially gone ahead of you, you have to ask permission first. But the Mayor did not follow this several times. This resulted to a heated argument, where the Mayor punched the father. The Mayor's goons wasted no time in coming to the Mayor's aid and they pinned the poor man on the ground and beat him up. The son rushed to plead that they stop beating his father, and he went to his knees just hoping that they would stop. The Mayor showed no mercy and beat the boy as well.

Finally, someone broke up the fight. But it did not end there. At the club house, the Mayor saw them again and beat them up all over again.

Is this the action of a Mayor that is supposed to take care of its citizens?

Reunion with Batch 04 Pisay

We had our reunion at Costa Marina Beach Resort, Samal, Davao City yesterday. It was nice to meet the batch again and spend time with friends. Four of us came there late, only two hours before the last trip back to the mainland, so we only had little time to enjoy the place. Despite that, it was worth it to come there.

After the beach, some of the boys spent a couple of hours in our new office. Then we headed to a friend's house for some videoke and some drinks.

I went home with a friend and we talked a lot along the way. Overall, it was a great way to end the day.

Greeting everyone a merry merry christmas! Honest to say, I'm not really a Christian, but I celebrate christmas with my Christian cousins and friends. I enjoy the spirit of giving--and receiving as well. Hahahaha. Or is that HoHoHo. :)

I like Christmas because of the cool weather, the warm people, and all the celebration here and there. It's also the time when people come back to their homes from wherever far off place they've been to, so it's the time friends get to meet again.

There may have been a lot issues surrounding Christmas, like it's history tainted with pagan origin, but what the hell. Just because it comes from something that you don't really agree in doesn't mean that it's evil right? :)

Once again, merry christmas and happy holidays! Enjoy this year while it lasts!

I was trying out Sit on Santa's Lap, a website that welcomes you with a Flash Movie animation where you can upload your own picture and have it included on the movie. You are asked for the thing that you wish for as well. It was actually funny, since it seemed quite real and the movie went on smoothly even with the added photo of myself on the video, placed on a a cool photo frame. I was a bit surprised.

It's called the CEIVA Digital Photo Frame, which I found quite unique for the following reasons: it allows you to share photos instantly all over the world, by connecting through an existing phone line or wi-fi; it receives photos from the computer or a camera; it displays photos perfectly without squishing, cropping, or stretching.

I like the idea of being able to share your photos with friends and families no matter how far apart you are from each other. This photo frame helps to bring people closer.

I chose the photo on the right since it's the picture on my About Me page on this blog.

Busy week

It has been a busy and stressful week in preparation for the launching of one of the projects that we proposed to DOLE. It's fun at times, but there are moments that are really draining. Work can be rewarding, but when you're overworked...that's a totally different matter.

Ahhh... Looking forward for the weekend. Badly need a break.

Anyway, overall... it's a good experience.

Puppies and Rain

Woke up today to the sound of puppies yapping. The sound of rain. When I checked outside to see what was going on, they had gotten out of their shelter because their mother was also out. It seemed some water had gotten through their wooden cover. After seeing to it that they were alright, I went back inside and decided to do a bit of blogging before I would return to sleep. And dream.

A part of the reason I decided to blog was because I got an opportunity from SocialSpark. I haven't been able to get much in the past weeks, but that's probably because I have been busy. I'm getting back to the habit of taking opportunities there as well as in PayPerPost.

Trying out some PTC sites | Get Paid to Click

Before, I didn't think doing PTCs (or paid to click) would be profitable. However, now I can see that you can actually earn a decent amount for it. This can be done by working with several PTC sites at once. Of course, you have to make sure that those PTC sites are legitimate by looking around the blogosphere or searching for information about the site in Google.

I've already signed up for 9 PTCs, and am currently looking for other sites that really pays its members. I wrote an article entitled Paid to Click Sites here, which features legitimate companies I've researched.
