Welcome to the new website for Café et Conversation.<br /> <br /> For those who are new to our group, we are a language exchange/conversation club (unofficial) that meets in Sommières, France once per month at a local café or restaurant to chat and drink wine together. There are no dues or fees, just the cost of whatever you drink. Our meetings last about 90 minutes, and we speak in English and French, in 15-minute intervals, first in one language and then in the other. This way, you have the opportunity to be both student and teacher several times during the evening.<br /> <br /> We have been meeting the last Monday per month for years, but that has changed. I've moved the meeting day to <u>the first Wednesday per month</u> to suit more people's schedules. We will also be changing the venue, to try a little chance of scenery, to <u>L'Atelier</u>, the restaurant in the centre ville just behind the small fountain. It used to be a restaurant called the Winestube. Those of you who wish to stay for dinner will be able to do so there, just as we did at Sansavino.<br /> <br /> There is no December meeting!<br /> <br /> Please sign up on the site today to receive Blog Posts By Mail.
