Here are some VIP sugar flowers I am working on. the cake is half Styrofoam so we could start work early. I think we are finally understanding how to make a rose. the small buds are production roses ordered in to save time but each of the large and medium roses are hand made.

The notes are songs the groom sent to his bride as they have been dating. This is a personal and sweet cake. The bride and groom also love the TV show Lost and The Office so we did a combined cake. The venue is Houston Station in Nashville TN.
The planner is A Delightful Day.

I like the ruffles and tulle that are coming out for the 2012 wedding dresses. I believe our cakes will get smaller as dessert bars take over so here is a look at what is to come. Taller tiers are in for this year and may continue but I still see them being faux if they are super tall.

Lovely wedding at The Parthenon in Nashville TN today. We made the cupcakes, Chocolate, Strawberry, and Yellow cake all with buttercream icing, handmade fondant pearls, with a dusting of cake glitter for light catching sparkle. Beautiful stands were from Copper Kettle and Brocade Design Arts did the lovely flowers! Looking forward to the recap on this wedding.
