      <title>Leadership Strategies for Dealing with Problem Employees</title>

*Free parking in parking structure&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This energetic course in leadership and supervision training will focus on human relationships, which are fundamental to supervision, leadership and management. &amp;nbsp;This course will explore the process of building, leading and managing a strong team. &amp;nbsp;Attendees will learn how to set an expectation of excellence for their team and strategies to hold subordinates accountable. &amp;nbsp;The decision making process for supervisors will be explored and simplified. Attendees will work in small groups to resolve real-world problems and identify the many steps and options available in most cases.
&lt;br /&gt;
Who should attend: &amp;nbsp;Designed for Sergeants and Lieutenants, but has frequently been attended by Officers and Detectives who have a desire to promote.&lt;br /&gt;

Instructor: Randy Allen, Commander, Long Beach Police Department&lt;br /&gt;
Randy has been with the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) for over 26 years. He is a state-level board member of the CPOA and has taught this course in the CPOA Leadership Development Program at Goldenwest College and the LBPD Police Academy since the late &amp;lsquo;90s.&lt;br /&gt;
