So, as I was putting this update together, it dawned on me that I haven’t done a regular-non-animation update in a long time. I don’t remember how long exactly, but as I was putting this update together, I realized I’d almost completely forgotten how to do regular image posts! Fortunately, I overcame that particular bout of ineptitude and have, for my efforts, a new manip to share with you all: Memories.

This particular image, I came across earlier tonight and it was just so spectacular that, in a rare moment of spontaneity, I downloaded it, immediately fired up Photoshop and set to writing. Given that writing is almost all I did to this picture, I sit here a short while later with a fresh new image. I can only hope the caption is a fraction as hot as I find the image itself to be. If you don’t find that to be the case, I invite you to ignore the caption completely and just soak up the erotic perfection that is this source photo.

The inspiration for this, oddly, comes from a vanilla-life friend who is absolutely breast-obsessed. Though she maintains she’s only sexually interested in men, and has the long-term relationships to corroborate that assertion, she professes large breasts are an intense turn-on for her.

I harbor a suspicion that she also has an interest in mind-control. There are a handful of truly awful B-vampire flicks that she loves, which seem out-of-place given her normal taste in movies. Having eventually gotten around to watching all of them myself, I was struck by the fact that each of the shlock-fests in question feature at least one scene of vampire-hypnosis/mind control.

I’ve never asked her about it directly, though my wife has offered to broach the subject since they are close friends. Anyway, if she’s out there, and if she ever stumbles into my neck of the tubes…I want her to know that this one is for her.

As always, your comments, questions and suggestions are welcome.

Another week, another update! I wish it were this way all the time, I really do. So, while I’ve managed to escape vanilla-life for a few moments, let me invite you to explore the benefits afforded by a Traditional Education. Then, read on for my director’s commentary.

As I discussed last time, I’ve amassed quite a collection of one-off images from Tumblr over the last year and I’m beginning to produce finished pieces from all that raw material. The biggest negative to the pics I’ve located on Tumblr is the fact that they tend to be relatively low resolution. I often plug pictures into various image search engines to try and locate the originals, but very often I cannot. So, while working with low-res material does present some challenges, its well-worth the effort when the source image is as good as this one.

I love when inspiration does the heavy-lifting for me. For this picture, I just started writing and had the entire story finished in probably ten or fifteen minutes. Now, given that what I write is quite brief compared to short fiction, that might not seem noteworthy. But, its rare that a narrative that I actually like comes out that quickly. Often I write a first draft that quickly, but then spend hours re-writing it until I’m happy.

Various little details of the image always play on my imagination and work their way into the story. Sometimes those story-bits serve the function of explaining away some piece of the image that might fall outside of the tale I’m weaving. Here, I wanted to address the lovely fishnet stockings the model is wearing and establish that as being part of her uniform rather than inferring someone put those on her.

Sometimes the inspiration is less-transparent. In this case, that circular rug beneath the chair is what inspired the moment where our heroine succumbs to a cup of drugged tea. When I looked at the pattern on that rug, my mind jumped to a moment where she was seeing the close up detail of a rug as she passed out. I didn’t end up writing that moment exactly that way, as I didn’t want to infer that her programming was taking place in the same office she was drugged in. But, it is interesting to look back and see how seemingly unconnected things led to moments of inspiration that completed the puzzle.

I hope you enjoyed and, as always, your comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome.

Greetings all. It has been a while, but between the holidays and a little piece of news I’ll discuss more later, I have had a busy 2013 so far. But enough of that, you’re here for the animation. This is actually a piece I’d created and written last year but I wasn’t happy with the story. So, I shelved it for a while and took another pass at it later and was much happier with the results. I’ll discuss it a bit more below, but why don’t you go ahead and check out Cheap Room.

Some time last year, I started perusing Tumblr and quickly discovered an enormous amount of material that was just waiting for me to get my hands on it. In my own searches for new material, I very often just hop between online freebie galleries. Looking for new images on Tumblr is beneficial in the sense that some person has already hand-picked a collection of images, usually of a similar theme. This makes my job much, much easier. I come across an image I like and I can browse through that user’s other images and perhaps find other material thats just as good.

I’ve already upload several new pieces of work that originated there, but I mention it because this image was the very first one that I snagged from Tumblr. So it seemed a timely story to tell.

As for the image itself, I just love everything about it. The room, the pose, the facial expression…I just couldn’t be happier with what’s going on in the photo. Subsequently, I didn’t change very much at all…only made additions. In the end, the thing I really focused on was writing a story that really conveyed some of the sense of emotion that I had the first time I laid eyes on it.

Hope you enjoyed it and, as always, your comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome.

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling downright spoiled about having so much new material to post. A few weekends ago I had a rare combination of free time and mass-quantities of inspiration. From that, these last few updates were born.

Today’s animation is an entry into a time-tested EMC convention: the intrepid reporter nosing around where she shouldn’t be. Click here to check out Scoop, then read on for my director’s commentary.

This was an image, I just came across recently (as in the past six months) but was immediately struck by the inherit drama depicted. Although the original photo had a nice expression on the blonde’s face, I found one slightly better in another photo from the series. From there I started adding props which originally was just going to consist of a brainwashing visor, but something about the clinical setting drove me to really pay off the technology these nefarious mind controllers might have access to. Following that idea led to the full compliment of mind-bending devices that appear in the final piece.

As for the story, I was second-guessing myself a bit fearing that the aforementioned snoopy-reporter premise might play less as EMC convention and more as EMC cliche. In the end, I decided to trust my instincts and write the story that the image had originally inspired.

And speaking of inspiration, I need to acknowledge Loveknot by trilby else, Community by Tabico, and thrall’s A Ten Pack Of Trixies; they were all on my mind while I was developing this one.

As always, your comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Its strange how what I do is both incredibly freeing as well as confining. Freeing in the sense that I can take otherwise unrelated photos and, with a bit of Photoshop and a bit of writing, transform them into erotic mind control art. Feeling like I could take just about any decent photo (within reason) and turn it into an expression of my EMC fetish is the part that’s so freeing.

The bit that’s constricting is that, lately, I have ideas that I don’t have material to bring to life. I am limited by what I can find to turn into pictures and animations. Sometimes the inspiration goes places that I don’t know how to capitalize on. As empowering as the former scenario is, the latter is equally frustrating.

However, tonight’s new animation is, happily, an example of just how satisfying it can be when the idea is born from the material. I’ll prattle on all about it in a moment. For now, indulge yourself with my latest creation and find out some of the more erotic perils faced by a high-society burglar in Thief.

This animation was born out of a rare weekend of free-time and unbridled inspiration. I actually finished several new pieces that I’ll be unveiling in the coming weeks. This is one is rather interesting in that its one of the few pieces I’ve started where I had absolutely no ideas concerning the story.

Normally, I don’t start a new animation project without being inspired by some story idea. But with this one, I figured I’d create the animated spiral and then set it aside; maybe work up a story somewhere down the road.

However, when I finished I sort of challenged myself to come up with something. I stared at the picture for several long minutes just not feeling any sort of inspiration. I concocted a few scenarios that were, if I’m honest, pretty boring.

Then, I zeroed in on the pearl necklace (easy I know) and thought about what that might suggest. That and the scant bit of the room that can be seen in the photo were all that I had to establish that this might be an upscale vanity in a well-appointed bedroom. But why would a woman have a hypno-device on her vanity? Maybe someone put it there? Maybe it isn’t her vanity?

Ah, that’s interesting. Whose vanity is it? Someone who’s wealthy. Why is she seated in front of a wealthy person’s vanity? Maybe she isn’t wealthy herself; maybe she’s a thief; there to steal something valuable. Like a pearl necklace.

Hmmm. I was starting to feel things falling into place now. She’s a jewel thief burgling a pearl necklace from a wealthy woman’s vanity when she comes across a strange device that’s been left out. Curiosity being what it is she can’t help but take a moment to inspect it and we all know where that leads.

So, all of that story-craft took place just through a few leaps of logic. The thing that I found enjoyable were the bits that seemed to just leap into the story of their own account. The detail that all of this is taking place on a yacht, as opposed to a house somewhere, is emblematic of this. I don’t know where that came from, it just seemed more interesting; plus it presented a bit more peril and made departure more problematic for the protagonist.

The other bit that I can’t account for is the part about her wearing an imitation necklace so that anyone reviewing security tapes would think she’d arrived and left wearing the same necklace. In hindsight, I can say that it demonstrates she’s clever and therefore makes her enthrallment all the more hot. In the moment though, I just wrote it without really knowing why.

That’s the part I love. That creative spark where something unexpected happens in your own mind. Where your imagination wholly creates something that you weren’t consciously trying to achieve. That’s the part of my work that’s incredibly freeing.

Moving forward, I think this is a valuable lesson to remember. I started this manip without any inspiration whatsoever. But, by doing the graphic work and then taking the time to just meditate on it, I put myself in a position where I was open to be inspired. And, happily, it happened. I don’t think it will work every time or that the results will always be as satisfying for me. But this is a profound moment in my pseudo-career with this site.

As I said, I usually don’t work on a manip if I don’t feel inspired. I find the results are pretty poor and I don’t enjoy the process. In a sense, I’ve felt like a hostage of my inspiration; only able to work when my creativity is primed. This project taught me that perhaps I haven’t been doing enough to make myself available for inspiration to find me.

I’ve always thought that the difference between a creative professional and a talented amateur was that a professional can summon their talent at will. They can focus their creativity on a situation where they may not feel inspired. This was the first manip I’ve created that made me feel that way.

Make no mistake, its not the most technically challenging manip I’ve ever done, the story isn’t the most unique or imaginative yarn I’ve ever created. But, I will always remember this manip for the important lesson about artistic diligence and discipline that it taught me.

As always, I welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions. Thanks for reading.

Welcome back dear reader! I hope you’ll excuse the lack of updates over the past month, but October was an especially busy month in vanilla-life. As fun as that’s been, I’ve been anxious lately and eager to post something new. While work on the new video-manip continues, I decided to take a break this evening and whip up some new material.

In Guided Therapy, a wife in marriage counseling is surprised at how effective her young therapist’s treatment is. Check out the animation, then read on for my director’s commentary.

Ninety-nine percent of the time, I write captions after finding an image that inspires me into crafting a manip. Typically the stories I create are wholly inspired by the image they’re married to. However, today’s new entry is the exception to that workflow. In this case, I had roughed out a draft of this story nearly a year ago, but had no image to go with it.

Having the story fleshed out, but no image to attach it to at the time, I decided to just hang onto what I’d written and see if an image came along that seemed to fit what I’d already worked up.

Naturally, I then totally forgot about it.

That is until tonight. I’ve been working a lot lately on this super-spiffy new video manip, but have been feeling a bit antsy and eager to put out some new material. So, I decided to take a one-night break from the video work to copmlete a new piece of material. After digging into my folder of manip-candidates, I found a picture that caught my eye and set to work on the imagery.

Having completed that, I started typing up some ideas for the caption and started thinking that some of the threads I was following seemed awfully familiar…like maybe I’d written them before. I looked through the last few animated manips I’ve uploaded, thinking I was ripping off an idea from myself.

Quite suddenly, I was reunited with the memory of this caption I’d written all those months ago. Plowing through my work folder, I found the document, right where I’d left it, and with a few tweaks and added details, it dovetailed perfectly into the new animation I’d just finished.

So, while not my usual methodology, I’m pleased just the same to finally find a home for those words. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as well. As always, your questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome.

Now, if you’re a South Park fan, you’re probably already saying “They tikk ur jerb!” If you’re not a South Park fan, that joke goes a little something like this.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way…

So this past week I came across a few photos from a Playboy shoot of a model named Sydney Barlette wearing a set of VR goggles and looking…well looking like she was being programmed with some sort of sexiness. I grabbed the images in question, thinking it would make for a quick manipping session. Lets face it, if I don’t have to add the brainwashing goggles myself, there’s not much left to do other than write.

So, having saved the images, I was closing the browser tab and my eyes just happened to glance over a bit of the text description informing me that I should join Playboy Plus to view the full res images…

…along with the video.

I literally, not figuratively, did a double take and scrambled to reopen the page I’d just closed. Some photog at Playboy put a woman in a brainwashing contraption (c’mon, no one’s buying this as a vr-themed shoot), took some pictures, and then shot video of it. I had to see it. I could not stand the idea of such a video existing and not seeing it.

It took some time, but I eventually tracked down a copy that someone uploaded to a vid sharing site and my jaw hung open for three minutes and change as I saw one of the most pure realizations of my particular EMC fetish flavors play out on-screen. Now, to be sure, I’m using my imagination a little…but only a little.

The vid itself plays out like a dubstep music video inspired by…erotic mind control. I keep looking at it and trying to see what was intended but to me all I see is a thinly veiled fantasy of a woman being brainwashed into a sex pet by another woman. You know what? I’ll shut up and stop describing it now so you can see for yourself:

Sydney Barlette Her Virtual Reality by bigtitfan10

You see? Playboy is making it harder for manip artists to work. How am I supposed to transform pics and videos of women into pics and videos of women being mind-controlled if Playboy makes them mind-controlled to being with?! They took my job!

I love that show, I really do.

Anyway, the photographer’s name is Jared Ryder and to him I can only say “thank you.” Thanks for basically putting what’s in my head on-screen for me, and everyone, to enjoy. But don’t think for a second I’m not going to manip this vid.

I may only be using my imagination a little…but when I’m finished, less is definitely going to be more.

Okay, I baited you with that title. Its a cheap ruse, I can admit it. But I promise you that if you walk through the curtain the result will be much closer to a man-eating-chicken, rather than a man…eating chicken.

So, just to be clear, I have not fallen under the irresistible spell of an online hypno domme. Rather, I want you to meet someone who has been a powerful presence in many of my manips and has been, exclusively, a figment of my imagination…until now.

During my recent in-person visit with thrall, she was kind enough to gift me a couple CDs filled with some of her favorite images. I think she probably had an inkling that I might find one or two (or seventy-three) that might make their way into a manip at some point down the road. As I was recently telling her, its been enormously fun to browse through these albums and try to put myself in her shoes. I look at an image and wonder to myself “If I were thrall, why would I save this one?” The eyes perhaps? The skin-tight latex (mmmmm)? The far-off look that just screams “mind control?”

There are plenty that have been flagged for manip-potential, but there’s one that I’d like to share today for a wholly different reason. So, here we have Morgana of Therondy in Velvet. Or at least, that’s who she claims to be in “real life”…whatever that is. In actuality (and by “actuality” I mean “my imagination”), she is the just-off-camera hypnodomme bending wills and enthralling pets in countless manips that I have produced over the years.

Sometimes, the lady swinging the watch is already brought to life by another model in the source picture, but there’s also many times when my manips depict a woman succumbing to some unknown enchantress. In those cases, there’s always been a nameless antagonist that I’ve pictured in my head to draw inspiration from. Until I came across this picture in thrall’s treasure trove (three times fast), I didn’t realize she was an actual person.

Ms Morgana here is the absolute embodiment of this fictional Mistress that I’ve always imagined as the lady standing over the countless brain-smoothed women in my work. I mean its just absolutely uncanny how closely she matches what I’ve always seen in my head.

So, what specific qualities has this image dialed in for me? I like latex…a lot, I’ve very fond of breasts (but aren’t we all?), and I love-love-love redheads. It doesn’t hurt that I’m quite a fan of black and green as a color combination and, I could be wrong, but I think her black-and-green corset is actually covered in a peacock pattern…that just happens to look like spirals.

So, this is pretty much the hottest woman imaginable for me.

That being the case, it follows that the most beautiful, seductive woman my imagination can conjure would be the one responsible for all the <del datetime="2012-10-02T12:04:26+00:00">delicious</del> nefarious deeds going on in my images.

There’s something else here that I want to mention, though I admit now it may seem a bit odd. You see, I’m also quite, quite fond of Morgana’s gloves. But, that’s the odd thing…I don’t really have a fetish for gloves. Or at least I didn’t use to.

I’ve mentioned my friend Alina a few times here. For those who don’t know, she was a dear friend who died several years ago. She was a fellow EMC fetishist who loved images of women smoking, shared my love for all things brainwashing, and also had a serious hot-spot…for opera gloves.

Now, when I first met her, I really hadn’t even considered that some people had a thing for gloves…it had just never occurred to me that it was a turn on for anyone. Alina quickly, and enthusiastically, schooled me on the matter. Thereafter, from time to time, I’d come across an image of a woman in long, black gloves and send it along to her with my best guess at what sort of noise she was going to make when she saw it; “eep”, “hrl!”, and “ohmyfuckingod!” were my running faves

While she was alive, and wholly because of her enthusiasm, I started to notice pictures of women wearing gloves. The odd part is that since she died, I don’t just notice gloves…they turn me on now too. Somehow or another, that little piece of her has rubbed off on me.

And that, my friends, is the cherry on top. This image would be an absolute ten without those deliciously long, luxuriously black, latex opera gloves winding their way up Morgana’s smooth arms. But you add them to the mix and this picture gets +1 louder.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Morgana…the Hypno Domme who goes to eleven

I don’t think many of us in the EMC community would argue that our fetish is, by and large, one confined to the realm of fantasy. Yes, hypnosis is real, yes hypnosis works for some people. But actual hypnosis and the fetish-flavor we tend to peddle in are rarely the same thing. No mystical hypno-orbs; no mind-controlling serpents; no flashlight-shaped devices that turn people into slaves. Many of the trapping of our fetish can only exist in the imagination.

Many, but not all.

Now, if you want to get really nitty-picky about things, I’m turned on by hypnosis; I certainly eroticize mind control; but what I go full-on-fetish-fever for is brainwashing. Now, in this context (erotic mind control), brainwashing entails visors and googles; headphones and helmets, beds and chairs with straps to hold down unwilling girls…until they are made to be willing.

The apparatus I associate with erotic brainwashing factors largely into my creative endeavors within this fetish. But, as I started out today, much of that is just fantasy; it isn’t real. At least, not for most of us.

Most, but not all.

Over the weekend, I was hunting for something and I plugged ‘brainwashing goggles’ into google. A few interesting links filled the first page, more than a few references to Lost and Room 23. On the second page I was a bit pleased to see a link to my own corner of the web and then I glanced over a link to a blog I’d never heard of. The blog of a woman who actually does the sorts of things I manipulate into photos.

She and her Master (I believe they are married at this point) have a very loving D/s relationship. Part of the way they practice that, sometimes involves her dressing from head-to-toe in latex, being strapped into a dentist chair, covering her head with earphones and a special gas mask that has been modified to include trance googles inside, and having electrics, and suction, and vibrating sex toys applied to her body. All this occurs while her Master speaks through a microphone to implant his words deep into her mind.

Now, in all fairness I think that brainwashing is one of a multitude of fetishes she has, with BDSM being her primary focus. If you check out her site’s tag archive for the word ‘brainwashing’ she hasn’t written about any experiences in over a year. However, what she does relate is plenty amazing, scorching hot to read, and, very often, accompanied by pictures.

If you’re as intrigued as I am to read more, head over to This girl’s weblog to find out what happens when one couple lives out the things many of us, only fantasize about.

Greetings friends. I haven’t had much time to post recently on account of not wanting to pull myself away from work on the new video manip that is in-progress at the moment. I don’t want to tease too much, too soon, so I’ll refrain from saying more; other than I’m very pleased with how it’s turning out.

For tonight though, I was just browsing through a large dump-folder of potential manip material and clearing out some unneeded pic sets when I came across a small series I’d forgotten I had. The lovely brunette in the above pic is Sophie Howard, who did a delicious photo series for Bizarre magazine a few years ago that focused on hypnosis as a sexual fetish. thrall has one of the images in the sidebar of her blog that you can check out if the idea of a topless Ms Howard wielding a pocket watch appeals to you at all (and if it doesn’t you must surely be lost on this site).

The reason I saved this image originally and that I’m studying it a little tonight, is the unique combination of Sophie’s pose, the glass window she’s pressed up against, and her reflection in said glass. When I saw this pic, I immediately landed on the idea of someone she cares about on the other side of the glass…being brainwashed. Ms Howard is helpless to do anything but watch as her friend is totally reshaped into a mindless drone.

Well, maybe not helpless to do anything. As is often the case, I’m forced to use the raw material I have and find a way to incorporate it into the story. The fact that she’s managed to get her top unbuttoned will have to be explained by how terribly turned on she’s getting watching her friend’s enslavement. I also have another pic from the series with her head tilted forward slightly, eyes staring intently ahead. I think that will give a more pronounced ‘lustful’ expression once I layer it in.

Of course, doing any sort of composting where reflections are involved is a bit tricky; but I’m sure I’ll manage that. What I’m more concerned about is that I’m planning on replacing pretty much everything else in the picture. The scenario I have in mind takes place in a laboratory or similar setting and for that, I’m going to have to replace almost every part of the background. Fortunately, the lighting is soft and relatively even so I think the image will pass for “indoors” without much difficulty.

I’ll keep the white framing on either side of the window and Ms Howard (and her reflection) but everything else must go. Behind her, I think I’ve got just enough space to show off a little equipment to help set the scene. I will have to get rid of the reflected trees…again tricky.

The real work though will happen in the foreground, frame-left. That pane of glass reflecting the table and chairs is prime real estate and will be the audience’s window into the actual brainwashing chamber where the hotness is occurring. Of course, that means I have to find some imagery to create the chamber, to say nothing of the mind-bending equipment or woman its being employed against.

It will take time to find all the assets I need in the sizes and perspectives required by the image. The last time I had to find images to match an existing picture it turned into quite the odyssey, hopefully this will be a more relaxed job owing to the more forgiving angle of this image.

Whatever, I end up doing will have to wait a bit as I’m currently engaged on two very ambitious projects, have a commitment to work with thrall on a couple things, have several requests in the queue, etc, etc. Maybe between now and then, I’ll happen across just the right images to go along with this one.

Anyway, this entry is another attempt to keep myself writing between new material and to talk a little about my process as I do get mail from time to time where people ask me about how I approach things. I hope you enjoyed it and do keep checking back for further updates.
