In a recent "challenge" sponsored by apartmenttheraphy.com in cooperation with Bloomingdale's, three designers were each asked to decorate one window of the Calligairs flagship store on Lexington Ave in New York. During the event Calligaris came to the forefront in a leading role. Signature products from the extensive Calligaris collection were used by all three designers and included the Florence table and the Dyna chairs as well as the best selling Horizon buffet which dominated the winning design. Chair JAM - was put into production by Calligaris in 2006. It was included into "TEN TOP" award at the Italian exhibition "Promosedia-2006" in Udine.

The series "JAM" was designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci - famous Italian designers. Both chairs and stools JAM have chromed frame and the seat in ABS plastic. First Calligaris Flagship Store in Milan

The first Calligaris Flagship Store is opening in Milan, on via Tivoli, at the corner of Foro Buonaparte in the prestigious Brera neighbourhood. This marks the birth of a modern reference point for the expression of the style, values and identity of the Calligaris brand.
The store occupies a total area of 7000 square metres, spread over three floors, where a house inside the store is the setting for the presentation of Calligaris interior design solutions for a universe of warm, contemporary and vivacious living: "design for living, for today's home".
