In today’s world, it’s easy to claim to be a Christian but have no life transformation.

But if there’s no transformed life, then the person hasn’t been born again.

Listen in to this message and learn the 4 tests that God shows you in His Word.

In 2 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul writes about a “thorn in the flesh” that was given to him to keep him humble as he was allowed heavenly revelations. Though the exact nature of the thorn remains unknown—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—it served a divine purpose: to remind Paul that God’s grace is sufficient and that the power of God is made perfect in weakness.

This passage teaches every believer that a trial is not a punishment from God. Rather, a blessed gift in disguise and opportunity for spiritual growth. Our human weaknesses become the place where God’s strength, power, and grace shine brightest. When we surrender our pain and pride, Christ works through us.

So whether your “thorn” is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual let’s remember: God wants to use it to draw you close and to keep you close to Him. He’s training you to depend fully upon God.

The Apostle Paul shares a powerful lesson on boasting in our weaknesses. Paul endured pains, persecutions, and a “thorn in the flesh.” But instead of pretending to be proud and strong, he declares, “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

God’s plan is that our weaknesses aren’t spiritual failures—they’re opportunities to tap into God’s strength and grace. When facing trials, we too can trust the Lord’s promise: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

True Christian strength doesn’t come through a self‑reliance. Christian maturity comes as we surrender to a complete dependence upon God and His grace.

The world promotes power and success. But Paul’s example reminds us that God chooses to reward and empower those who remain humble, fully dependent upon the grace of God.

God warns us to beware that satan has ministers who are false teachers. Satan uses his false teachers, just like he “deceived Eve by his craftiness.”

We are reminded to beware of these false teachers and false apostles trying to corrupt our minds “from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Today’s church world is full of spiritual deceptions and spiritual confusion as false teachings abound throughout many churches and denominations.

Many false teachers preach prosperity instead of doctrinal purity, and a self-focus instead of a Christ-centered Biblical truth. If we are to successfully continue as followers of Jesus, then we must stay grounded in God’s Word and test every teaching against Scripture.

True Christian faith isn’t built on manmade trends or emotional hype, but on the unchanging truth of Jesus Christ and God’s Word!
