Paul the Apostle begins his letter to the Galatians by defending the Gospel of Grace. The Good News of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, is solely by the grace of God alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Paul warns against turning away from the Gospel of Christ to any other “different gospel.”

Because “if anyone preaches any other gospel,” they’re “accursed.” They are anathema, or doomed to destruction.

God’s message through Paul’s pen still rings true today. The true Gospel cannot be mixed with any manmade works or religion. The true Gospel is about the sole work of Jesus Christ to pay for our sins.

Jesus fully paid our sin debt, for we could not.

Only the Gospel of Grace can gift eternal salvation to our souls. We cannot do even one work to earn our salvation, whether that’s circumcision, water Baptism, keeping the Sabbath, or any other good works.

Hold onto and preach only the true Gospel of Grace! For this is the only way to be saved from the fires of Hell and to spend eternity with the Heavenly Father!

In 2 Corinthians 13, the Apostle Paul gives commands to believers to do things such as be of one mind and live in peace.

Christian unity isn’t just about getting along with others – it’s walking in God’s Truth together, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We can live in peace in God’s church when we each give up our pride, obey God’s Word together and pursue grace and forgiveness.

As we await the Lord’s return, we must all guard over the peace of God and proactively choose to love one another.

When we do this, then the God of love and peace will be with us.

In 2 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul writes about a “thorn in the flesh” that was given to him to keep him humble as he was allowed heavenly revelations. Though the exact nature of the thorn remains unknown—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—it served a divine purpose: to remind Paul that God’s grace is sufficient and that the power of God is made perfect in weakness.

This passage teaches every believer that a trial is not a punishment from God. Rather, a blessed gift in disguise and opportunity for spiritual growth. Our human weaknesses become the place where God’s strength, power, and grace shine brightest. When we surrender our pain and pride, Christ works through us.

So whether your “thorn” is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual let’s remember: God wants to use it to draw you close and to keep you close to Him. He’s training you to depend fully upon God.
