Great stuff. It's a shame we have to hold some of our respect for top athletes in reserve these days due to what seems like inevitable scandals related to performance enhancing drugs. At least that doesn't cross over to business startups.

One of my heroes that comes to mind right now is George MacDonald. He created many worlds that sucked me in for many a late nights. He's probably one of the primary authors that kept me reading books.

I've done this to some degree on my boxen, although I've fallen a bit out of practice since my homedir isn't as important to me as it once was. I still use it for other things, though. Some useful links:
