Pay-per-click advertising is a type of search engine marketing where you pay a small fee (it can be as small as a few cents!) every time someone clicks on your ad and visits your website. For example, when you do a google search, look on the right hand side of the results page. These are all PPC adverts, all being shown on the first or second page of the search engine results. Because you decide the specific keyword searches where your advertisement is displayed, PPC advertising is truly one of the most cost effective ways to advertise online. You have total control over how and where your ads are shown. Unlike other online advertising methods, PPC advertising provides instant results at affordable rates.

As a PPC advertiser, you can easily build, customize, and manage your search campaigns, as well as closely monitor their performance. As with typical search engine optimization, keyword research is critical to the success of pay per click advertising.

Ultimately, pay per click advertising is a great way to promote a web site. It’s completely quantifiable and highly targeted, enabling you to display your advertisement in response to an internet search for your products or services. But …there is a lot to learn before you venture into your first campaign. If you don’t do your homework, chances are you will lose money. How has Sex Has Taught Me A Valuable Lesson About Blogging?  Blogging is a lot like having sex because if your not consistent and good people tend to get bored and stray away.  But, if your shit is the bomb then you get loyal stalkers readers like my friend Jake.  You have to be consistent and try not to do the same thing everytime be a little creative give your readers the reach around and after you’ve smoked your cigarette be sure to spoon a little bit.

I’ve learned you have to give it to them exactly how they want it or they won’t cum come at all.  Some like it long, hard, and drawn out and some like quick fast and straight to the point. 

Now that my mind is out the f’ing gutter here’s a few tips.

1. Be creative (don’t do the same shit every time)
2. Be consistent (whether it’s long, hard, and drawn out or it’s quick and fast just do it on a regular basis to keep your readers satisfied)
3. Show your readers some love and they’ll show it back.
4. If you see that your readers respond a certain way remember what you did and do it again, and again, and again.
5. Just be your f’ing yourself!!!

Well folks it’s 3:19 in my world and I’m going to try and kick out another worthless useful posts before I hit the hay.

If you have registration enabled a flaw was found in the XML-RPC implementation such that a specially crafted request would allow a user to edit posts of other users on that blog. In addition to fixing this security flaw, 2.3.3 fixes a few minor bugs . If you are interested only in the security fix, download the fixed version of xmlrpc.php and copy it over your existing xmlrpc.php. Otherwise, you can get the entire release here .

Also, there is a vulnerability in the WP-Forum plugin that is being actively exploited right now. If you are using this plugin, please remove it until an update is available from its author.

Since we are talking security, remember to use strong passwords and change them regularly. While you’re updating WP and your plugins, consider refreshing your passwords.

1. Be yourself damn it! People like uniqueness and what’s more unique than you! There’s only one you so show the world who you are.
2. Blog about things you like. Don’t just blog about what’s popular. You’ll find that you’ll get more readers because you have something different to say than the rest of the bunch.
3. Be bold. Don’t be afraid the say what the hell is one your mind.
4. Be consistent. Set a schedule and stick to it. If your going to post once or twice a make commit to it and do it. If there are some random posts in between that fine but just make sure that you still stick to the schedule that you’ve set for yourself.
5. And last but not least Monetize your damn blog. You can’t make any money off it if it’s not monetized plain a simple. Like John Chow says in his January Income Report don’t put all your eggs in one basket. He made over $30,000 dollars from his blog in January.
