Sæther employed an innovative approach to man tactic, but as he prepares for a much tougher job qualification round - starting on Thursday against bronze medalists for the Czech Republic 2010, hosts of Romania and Slovakia - the coach believes that progress is to its players.

"The system can take some credit, but most of the success was founded in the way the boys played," said Sæther, a long-time sportswriter for the newspaper Dagbladet. "It was almost unbelievable how the hand played for your top-level during games. I was really impressed with how focus and dedicated that were ".

However, strategy of Sæther certainly gave Norway a border, making it as difficult to break your football squad has been lately. "Andorra, for example, had problems dealing when they had the ball," he said. "They had to use his goalkeeper like field player when in possession, which was an advantage for us. For example, goalkeeper Magnar Nordtun scored our goal last against Andorra on an open network. "

Nordtun, once a soccer player with Viking FK, proved to be a key player together with Captain Thomas Sæther – not related with coach-fixing team with their fight and distribution. The Joker in the package is Valøy of Cato, who hasn't played in the first two games last month, but then weighed in with a hat-trick against Andorra. "Valøy is extremely fast and has an eye for goal," said coach. "Hat-trick proved that we chose the right squad that time".

This month's selection includes six players of Champions Championship KFUM Oslo, who made his debut in UEFA Futsal Cup this season and went undefeated in goal difference behind RKM Zelezarec Skopje. Avoiding defeat will be far from easy in Romania, though.

"Our results so far show that we are at a high European level, but we know that these games will be difficult," said Sæther. "Romania has played 22 matches last year and are more experienced than us, the Czechs took bronze at the last EURO, while Slovakia had some impressive results this year. Our goal is to have some points and testing our system against some of the best teams of futsal in Europe ".

View the original article here
Calvin Clarkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05476721208048683180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7394926021269633728.post-5351226097391228012011-02-03T01:14:00.000-08:002011-02-03T01:14:00.487-08:00The Titans have two teams doing well in Toronto league

OSHAWA-Oshawa Turul 98 Titans finished the year 2010 with a very high note.

With the team divided into two Futsal League squads of Toronto team Turul No.1 won 10-3 and Turul No. won 2 of 7-3 to finish the year with WINS.

Turul 1 had a record of four wins and one loss and was tied for first place while Turul 2 was in second place with two WINS, two losses and one tie.

This is the first year of this group of young ladies never played futsal, a variation of football that is played on a smaller playing surface and primarily played indoors. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has developed 11 mini football grounds in different parts of the city to promote sports among youth. The fields were developed in existing sports complexes of ADI. Developed in the playback area on the lines of American football concept, which is a variant of football and is played on a field smaller.
"The field of mini football is similar in size to a basketball court. It is usually connected by fence. We have erected around 12-foot-tall iron around all football fields. The concept of a field of mini football futsal was extracted, in which there are five players in each team and the game usually lasts for 40 minutes, "said an official ADI. Land agency plans to develop more of these fields if the concept of futsal gains popularity.

"Despite interest in soccer is growing, there are sufficient resources to encourage the trend. Therefore, we have decided to develop mini soccer fields in our sports complexes and plans. L-G also wanted those fields to develop whole Delhi. This is just the beginning and depending on the response, we will create more of these fields. Although the initiative was mainly our own, were assisted by a German company, who told us that heavier balls were needed to play in such fields, "added the employee.

The approximate cost of the development of a football field ranges from 4 Rs 5 lakh lakh. Land agency is looking for participation of NGOs, football clubs, etc. to ensure proper maintenance of these fields. "Keep those fields is a problem. We look forward to participation of sports enthusiasts to help in this respect, "said an official.

According to the Earth, must maintain the fields under lock and key to ensure that fields are only used to play football. "If we do not, people will start playing cricket here, which is something that we don't want," said an official. Tournaments have already taken place in these fields and approximately 35 schools participated in itself.

"We also have a football tournament of V-C where people from ADI participate. Recently we had another tournament Vasundhara, which was attended various schools. The finals took place in Dwarka, "said an official. At the moment, ADI has 14 sporting complexes and 26 plans under them. "We are constantly trying to update the existing complex," added the employee.

View the original article here
Calvin Clarkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05476721208048683180noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7394926021269633728.post-15214412528717482442011-01-07T00:10:00.000-08:002011-01-07T00:10:00.450-08:00
FOOTBALL PLAYERS RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS

Several of the boys in Summit High School Varsity Football Team were awarded State-level awards for his performance on the field this year.
