It could be one of the largest crocodiles to be captured alive in recent years, he said, quoting local crocodile experts.

Elorde said the crocodile killed a water buffalo in an attack witnessed by villagers last month and was also suspected of having attacked a fisherman who went missing in July.

The crocodile found in Bunawan Agusan del Sur, Philippines that was believed to be the biggest crocodile living in the world rumoured to have a bigger companion. According to the people who saw the real incident, the crocodile that they caught is not the one who killed the water buffalo and one fisherman, one resident pictured the crocodile who killed the water buffalo and they found out that the head of the crocodile that they caught and the one who killed the water buffalo and the fisherman is not the same. The crocodile that they caught is smaller than the one they captured in the camera. The size of the crocodile is 21 feet long and 3.5 feet and it is the female crocodile and the one they believe to be still in the water is a male crocodile.

Reasons why you should visit the Philippines

We are a vibrant, fun- loving and eclectic group of people

The Philippines has 16 regions with their own particular culture, personality and beliefs. But one thing that is similar in each and every Filipino is their love for fun and excitement.

Delectable foods

Each region has also its own particular cuisine. Filipino food is a diverse blend of Oriental, European and American culinary tastes. Fresh seafood is abundant here.

The Philippines is full of history.

We have a rich cultural heritage and a number of Unesco World Heritage Sites. Visit parts of the country where time has stood still and experience what life was more than a hundred years ago.

Camiguin Island is said to be "Born of Fire" for the province has seven volcanoes, including the famous Mount Hibok-hibok. Volcanic eruptions and land movements have and continues to create this spectacular island, which is full of natural wonders and historical riches.

The island is located at the northern tip of Mindanao. The island province is bounded to the north by Bohol Sea, to the west by Macajalar Bay, to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay.

Camiguin is the smallest province in Northern Mindanao, with a land area of approximately 30,000 hectares. The island province is composed of five towns. Namely, Catarman ,Guinsiliban, Mahinog, Sagay and Mambajao, which is the island-province's capital town. According to the National Statistics Office, Camiguin has a total population of more than 74,000 distributed among 14,826 households - making the province the second smallest in the Philippines in terms of population.

Among the Province's major products are coconut, cassava, banana, camote, palay, corn, fruits, coffee and vegetables. Camiguin's volcanic soil has proved to be a fertile ground for planting various crops. At present, the Provincial government is looking into an agricultural program that would increase the cultivation of fruit trees and vegetables in Camiguin. The Province is also among the best abaca fiber producers in the country. Camiguin is proud of its natural resources, which include sulfur deposits, geothermal energy, agricultural lands and fishing grounds.

The Camiguin culture is a mixture of both Boholano and Cebuano culture. It is very colorful and creative. The people are deeply religious, hospitable and friendly. Cebuano is the major dialect in the Province. However, in the towns of Sagay and Guinsiliban, where most of the indigenous tribes reside, the Kinamiguin dialect is still spoken. Kinamiguin is derived from the Manobo dialect with some mixture of Boholano.
