She ran 506.8 miles in 9 days, 5 hours, and 29 minutes.

Jenny was supported partially by her Mom, Step-Dad and daughter. Her husband back in Virginia watched their other two children and kept up her blog, Jenny’s Journey.

Her run may have set a best time in Ultra Running Speed Record for the Camino, but she admits there is little documentation. Jenny may just start a trend for the distance runners and their desire to turn in the best time. Go, Jenny go!

We met Marcia in our training as hospitaleros at the American Pilgrims on the Camino–Puget Sound Chapter’s session last year. She shared her art and book on the Camino. Buen Camino, Marcia!

George Dirk’s “Camino de Santiago” video is a great primer video to share with your friends who may want to walk the Camino. Dirk’s simple video is actually a good coverage of what to expect as a pilgrim on your walk. I has the good bad and all points between. Fo a homemade video of the Camino this one is a good starting point for the uninitiated.

His website is online today. There you can read of his experiences on the Camino. What set Oliver apart from others was his violin. He actually brought it on his journey. As the opportunity allowed he played in churches along the way. Sometimes as he started playing he was asked to leave, other times he played for hours. These serendipitous occasions were recorded by Oliver and made into a cd entitled Camino. He had a style unto his own.

In Robert Mullen’s A Pilgrim’s Progress post, the question we ask about our camino may not be answered in the way we expect. In Galicia amidst cattle, hórreos and an inquisitive señorita, Mullen is offered water and questions.
