The project at Campbell River Multicultural and Immigrant Services Association (MISA) is being researched by Shannon Briggs, the Diversity Projects Assistant, who says that “the overall feeling from the group is that our community is a friendly and welcoming place and they wish to help make it easier for future immigrants to settle here.”

Thanksgiving Lunch at Multicultural Association is an event that brings people from different backgrounds together to share food and understand other community members more. Over 50 people crammed into Robron Centre Library and enjoyed themselves very much with the tasty food, the conversations with others, and the atmosphere.
