For men, Peu Cross following The Hybrid concept, a more sustainable shoe made in recycled materials through production processes that help to reduce pollution. This shoe is available in blue and beige.

For women there is a new line, Ginger, inspired in the bakery world. A funny touch for a very comfortable and lightweight shoe.

Camper connects with the design community in Berlin

On the 17th of November Casa Camper Berlin hosted the first public pitch event to design an interior for a Camper store, this time the store selected is located in Kurfünsterdamm. This enterprising project was lead by the Dutch designer, Hella Hongerius, who observed the work of five different design offices among them the final choice – ErenlerBauer, whose talent of expressing the exceptional brand values of Camper, can be seen in the store from January 2010 in Kurfünsterdamm.

After Casa Camper Barcelona, Camper inaugurates a new hotel in Berlin. Casa Camper Berlin opens its doors this autumn in the German capital, a vibrant and exciting city where Camper has already two stores. The hotel, located in Weinmeisterstraße 1 in the district of Mitte, is available for reservations through its website. You can book a suite, a king or a twin room and enhance your stay with several proposals such us a Camper bike or a romance kit.

CAMPER opens new boutique in Singapore

Camper expands presence in one of the most luxury markets in Asia, Singapore, with the opening of a 83 –square-meter boutique in the state of the art ION Shopping Mall, strategically situated on Orchard Road, the most prestigious commercial street in the city.

This new store is the perfect backdrop for the Camper style, where red and white are the predominant colours. Majestic white lamps hang from the ceiling over the collection to create the most impact on the shoes.

The new Camper collection features in this luminous store, which welcomes customers to experience the brand philosophy.

Natural by Design

Son Fortesa, in Alarò, the venue for all the Camper foundation events, has been the framework for the latest celebration of a workshop named “Natural by Design”, organized between the 13^th and the 17^th July by Camper Barcelona Design Center following the success of the 2008 workshop “The Walking Creativity”.

Eight students from the most prestigious European schools had the opportunity to not only attend technique and artistic conferences where speakers were authorities in the creative process, anatomy, materials and sustainable projects, but also to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Son Fortesa.

The result of the students work, ten shoe prototypes and a publication also available online presented on the closing of the workshop, are a proof of the creativity and talent of these young designers. If you want to know more about this workshop, you can check this blog.

Camper presents a preview of its autumn-winter 2009/10 collection: commitment to design and technology and framed in its new communication campaign “REINVENT YOUR REALITY”.

Ariadna, a line that reinvents the heel! With added height and the innovative use of materials, Ariadna boasts a two-tone wood covered heel –7cm of grace and style! A lace-up patent shoe or an ankle boot in the softest blue nubuck are some of the elegant styles Ariadna has to offer. Originality and femininity merge into comfort and design, in a very Camper way.

Brothers Impala, a derby style shoe or ankle boot, with rounded lines and a solid yet very light-weight structure. This unique shoe features 360o stitching, which provides a greater flexibility while reducing the needs for glues. The rubber sole and perforations in the leather create the perfect blend of casual with elegance. Style with comfort, functionality with design all rolled into one. Less glue, more resistance!

Camper signs an agreement with Gesa Endesa

Camper expresses its commitment to the environment and signs an agreement with the Spanish electrical company Gesa Endesa. The said settlement seeks for a responsible and efficient use of energy contributing to the preservation and recovery of the environment. It also includes the generation of “green” energy, enough to compensate Camper’s own consumption in Spain and conduct awareness campaigns to promote a rational use of energy among the 1,000 employees of the company. The project consists of several stages, and will help to reduce the use of energy in 21.16% of the current consumption of the company.

Camper’s energy efficiency commitment joins other environmental initiatives undertaken by the company, such as the water reuse system and the use of solar energy in Casa Camper Barcelona or the close collaboration with sustainable projects like “Paredes en Crestall”.

It is also in the design and conception of its shoe lines that Camper makes great sustainability efforts. Camper was the first European shoe company to achieve the Ecolabel with the Camaleon. In 2000 it launched the WABI concept with two easily separable and recyclable components. Nowadays, it still continues to add biodegradable and recycled components like organic cotton or PET.

Camper reaffirms its commitment to the environment in a responsible way.
