Chirstmas 2010 Worship News

We thank God for the gracious Christmas worship this past Sunday. MSU Magi, Minnesota Magi, Evansville Magi and Korean Magi (Josh Han's mom) worshiped together with us. We also celebrated graduation of Travis, Ben, Esther Kim, Brian and Jeannette. Pastor Mark Hong preached from Luke 2:8-14. He preached the meaning of Christmas: 1) The baby Jesus brings great joy in our life (Luke 2:10); 2) The baby Jesus brings God's salvation (2:11) and 3) The baby Jesus brings Glory to God (2:14). We praise Jesus who is with us.

Service Canceled today

Due to Snow emergency in the city of Madison, we cancel our worship services today.
Instead, we are going to have the Wednesday evening service at 6:30pm.
We also cancel our Board Meeting today.
Please read Matthew 2:1-12 and meditate on the visit of Magi and who Jesus is.

The City of Madison has declared a snow emergency. That means that alternate side parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the entire City of Madison including the downtown/isthmus snow emergency zone.

Madison residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the street if possible. Residents who must park on the street this evening should park on the ODD house numbered side of the street. Vehicles parked on the street Monday evening December13th should be parked on the EVENhouse numbered side of the street. Violations of the alternate side parking rules are punishable by a fine of $60 throughout the entire City of Madison. Violators could also be towed.
The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until at least 7 a.m. on Tuesday December 14th.

Praise and thank God that Hannah Steinemtz got a job from a Charter communication yesterday.
May the Lord continually use Joshua & Hannah Steinmetz for His glory.
May the Lord open the door for our church members and use us for His kingdom.

The Lord Richly Blessed Experienced God Weekend

10 Experiencing God Team members came from many different part of the US and served our church during this past weekend. "Experiencing God" introduces 7 spiritual realities.
They are:
1. God is always at work around you.
2. God pursues a continuing love relationship with you that is real and personal.
3. God invites you to become involved with Him in His work.
4. God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.
5. God's invitation for you to work with Him always leads you to a crisis of belief that re-quires faith and action.
6. You must make major adjustments in your life to join God in what He is doing.
7. You come to know God by experience as you obey Him and He accomplishes His work through you.

35 people participated in it. We pray that we have even deeper grace next 12 weeks as we gather together and learn from Henry Blackerby and share in small group.

24 Hour Relay Prayer

Leaders in Texas, Colorado and Illinois are coming to help us to have a fresh encounter with the Lord God (October 1-3, 2010). Wonderful things will happen to you, your family and church through the fruit of this special event. Jesus said, "I have come that they have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10b).

Let us look forward to this event and pray earnestly for the visit of the Lord our God through His Spirit on this weekend. You are all invited for this special event.
