When designing a survey or questionnaire, you are likely to discover that there are number of different ways to phrase the same question. For example, if you wanted to determine a person’s age, you could ask for their birthdate, have them write in their age in a numeric textbox, or provide them with an answer set that displays a range of ages to select from. All provide slightly different results and have different uses within a survey.
