House passes bill to import drugs from Canada

Today the house passed a bill that would allow people to legally import drugs from Canada. In the past it has just been pushed aside and imports were allowed to enter the country anyways. This bill will make it official. You can read more here.

US Senate approves of imporing drugs from Canadian pharmacies

The rumour out there is that Canada's health minister is banning bulk drug exports into the United States in the coming months. Although this has not gone through, we expect it to happen and be approved in the coming weeks.

Read an article today about how few online pharmacies are based in Canada. This study examined 11000 pharmacies over the internet and was conducted by the U.S. FDA.

There are a simple reason for this that the FDA does not mention. One reason is affiliates. It is not diffucult for anyone to design a website and become and affiliate for a pharmacy anywhere in the world, but that does not mean that the actual pharmacy is not 100% Canadian.

The internet is a different way to advertise, and people that regularly shop on the internet know that it is a global economy and people if they want can make money advertising TVs from Japan, or Brazil nuts from Brazil.

The fact is, if you do your homework, you will see that all Canadian Pharmacies, be it on the internet and/or retail outlets are highly controled and regulated by Canada Health. There are random inspections of all medicines, management, and dispensing and distribution methods.

This does not mean that a major company can't set up shop in Canada that has owners around the world. There are drug stores in the U.S. that are owned by foreigners also. Does this mean that the drugs you buy in the U.S. are not safe????

Don't let the FDA scare you, Canada is not some 3rd world country, if you ever have been here you would see how regulations are enforced to ensure safety to a standard equal and greater to many countries in the world.
