Discussion about Formerly The Black Horse PH edited

Discussion edited by Peter Stockdale. It was changed from:
Has the "The Black Horse PH " been demolished or just
closed --- Shultzy

The Black Horse PH has been permanently closed and is now
derelict. --- Shultzy

Today's(4th Jul 26) name change needs sorting - thanks-- Shultzy
or an other -regards ---Pete

The 'TMG Talent' name (same as the user doing the change) just
looks like a mistake: But the Navigational Note and the Alias ('also
known as') Discover Top Assistants Through PA Recruitment Agency
London are tosh (advertising scribbling??) - so have deleted the
note and redone placename and its address/postcode. Are there any
other advertising scribblings on places hereabouts ?? Probably not,
and a guess at what happened: an attempt to rename the place had a
clever phone treat the Edit-Place form like buying something from
(eg) ebay, and autofilled phoned-stored address information into
likely-looking fields. Hmmmmm.

As to the building being
derelict: July2024 google streetmap shows boarding-up around the
building but to say 'derelict' is a bit extreme. So 'former pub'
seems best name for the place for the moment. Place could be deleted,
of course: however navigators may still be aiming-for-a-pint here,
based on a printed guide, so having some information is better than
nowt (imho) And the bridge name (Br 15) alongside also commemorates
the Black Horse. My Nicholsons from 1997 uses this name and some of
the Geograph contributors also use it
---PeterScott 5Jul2026

The 'TMG Talent' name (same as the user doing the change) just
looks like a mistake: But the Navigational Note and the Alias ('also
known as') Discover Top Assistants Through PA Recruitment Agency
London are tosh (advertising scribbling) - so have deleted the
note and redone placename and its address/postcode.
