Latest OBSESSION! Victoria's Secret Body Mist: Lemon Paradise

This has got to be the best lemon scented spray i have ever... errr.. sprayed? lol Anyways, i first came across this lovely spray sometime in the beginning of summer, probably early June or late May. It was love at first spray haha. One problem, my Vicky's only had the TESTER on the shelf. So i looked high and low and opened every drawer. Of course sold out. I had gone quite a few times after that, and always SOLD OUT. But a few days ago (and a few months later) haha i go in a see a shelf full of Lemon Paradise! And of course, I'm broke!! :D Luckily my best friend Shay hooked it up and got it for me. More about the scent, its a wonderful rich, yet soft lemon sugar and vanilla scent. i love citrus scents so this is always a great pick me up. I especially love to spray it all over after a shower, it has aloe and chamomile so it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. Definitely a great buy if you're a lemon lover. Runs for $9 and can be found on www.VictoriasSecret.com or in any Victoria's Secret store. (Hopefully yours isn't sold out like mine was!) Have a wonderful day guys!

Great Lash BIG Mascara

Long time no blog. But i recently purchased the Maybelline Great Lash BIG Mascara in Blackest Black and I am in love. (Not to mention I paid less than $6 at my local Walgreens AND Maybelline was buy one get one free that week, practically a steal!!! :) I have heard a lot of people talk smack about Great Lash in general but i dig it. I love the big, chubby brush this mascara comes with. I do however, wish that the wand was a bit longer. Anyways, the whole "buildable volume" claim really appealed to me... And! you really can control this mascara. You can get your lashes fat and maxed out, or have a softer, more sublte volume. Of course, me being me, I crank it up. :) Another little thing you have to watch for, since it's a buildable mascara, the formula is wetter than most i have tried, not as creamy and takes a teeny bit longer to dry, needless to say I am a klutz and have blinked hard or looked up too fast and gotten those "adorable" black mascara streaks on my lids. hahaha. But all in all I do really love this mascara. i toss it into my makeup bag everyday. And of course the funky 80's hot pink and lime green packaging brings me a bit of joy everytime i apply. :)

Shampoo: My fave is still the Head & Shoulders for Dry Scalp. Amazing.

Conditioner: John Freida Red Hair Collection Conditioner

Styling products: The "Generic" mock of Hold Me Tight Finishing Spray by Paul Mitchell, "Generic" Wax Works also mocking Paul Mitchell, ( found these at Sally's, LOVE.) Garnier Fructis Shine Spray, and still love my lame Aqua Net in the purple can. haha.

Hair mask: Garnier Fructis Color Care 3 Minute Mask. Smells yum!

Body Shower gel: Aveeno Body Wash for Sensitive Skin. It's basically odorless and doesn't irritate me skin. Also has a rich lather.

Body moisturiser: Palmers Cocoa Butter Lotion<3

Deodorant: Dove in Powder

Fake tan: NEVER

FaceCleanser: The CVS version of Clean and Clear's Cream Cleanser. I love it. still<33

Eye makeup remover: CVS Eye Makeup Remover. The liquid.

Exfoliator: St. Ives Apricot Scrub... Stopped w/ the Blemish Control Formula.

Primer: Don't laugh, i actually find Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder Gel to be excellent. Compares highly to Smashbox Photofinish. And way cheaper. :)

Foundation: CoverGirl Clean Makeup Oil Control in Classic Ivory (Fragrance Free)

Foundation brush: E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush. Excellent, cheap, great for stippling. My FAVORITE way to apply liquid foundation!

Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW 15

Powder: Maybelline Shine Free Loose Powder in Light

Blusher: E.L.F. Studio Contouring Blush and Powder Bronzer. Fabulous and mocks the NARS Orgasm/Laguna Duo.

Bronzer: ^

Highlighter: i occasionally use the highlighting powder from my Coastal Scents Contour Palette.

Eyeshadow base: Too-Faced Shadow insurance, MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot, and Loreal DeCrease.

Eyeshadows: Right now OBSESSED w/ my Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Palette.

Eyeliner:I NEED TO FIND AMAZING EYELINERS. pencil and liquid. HELP.

Eyelash curler: E.L.F. Studio Eyelash Curler

Eyelash base: nahh.

Mascara: Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt. Hated it, now Love it.

Lipstick: MAC SlimShine in "Voile"

Lipgloss: Depends!!! i honestly love Bonne Bell ones that taste like cake lol!

EnKore Inspired: Homemade Makeup Brush Cleanser :]

Let me start by saying that making this AWSM cleanser was dirt cheap and so worth it. Got pretty much everything at Family Dollar and the total was about $7. And it's even cheaper if you have this stuff lying around. :] so lets get started.

*Ingredients*
1 Cup Purified Bottled Water OR Distilled Water (I used Bottled)
1/4 Cup 70% OR 91% Rubbing Alcohol (I used 70%)
1/2 Tbsp. Dishwashing Liquid (I used Palmolive Antibacterial w/ Orange Extracts)
1/2 Tbsp. Baby Shampoo (I used Family Dollars Brand)
1 Tbsp. Leave in Conditioner OR Detangler (I used Suave Kids Detangling Spray in Awesome Apple)

*Tools*
Bottle for your cleanser
Measuring Cups and Utensils
Jar to mix in
Stirrer
Funnel (Optional)

Basically just measure out and add the ingredients together in a jar in the order listed above. When they are all together, GENTLY! stir them so the soap won't bubble and suds. Pour in your bottle, (I didn't use one but a funnel will probably make your life easier, lol.) and Voila! Homemade Makeup Brush Cleanser. My version has a pleasant orangey scent. But play around, use different dish liquids or try lavender baby shampoo. Hope this was helpful and thank you EnKore!!! :]

REVIEW: L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow

So a friend and I were at Family Dollar yesterday shopping for ingredients for home-made makeup brush cleaner. (I will post how to make it soon!) and while looking for that stuff I stumbled upon L.A. Colors 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow. At first I was like "Nah, dollar store eyeshadow???". But it was so sparkly and cute I figured I'd give it a try. And plus, it was only $1.60. This morning I used it and loved it. I created a light, blended Day-Time look. For what I paid for it it was pretty good quality and the pigmentation was decent. I even applied it with the sponge tip applicators it came with and those weren't bad either. I did however, blend them with a little smudge brush. Pretty colors, nice sparkles, fab price. Definitely a bargain buy. Strange though, the palette I got which is named "Darling" (BES431) now, and I am not 100% sure, but appears to called "Unforgettable" (EP 24) on the website. Believe me though, the "two" differently named palettes look identical. Also, check out your local Family Dollar. :] Thanks for reading!

REVIEW: CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara

So last week I purchased CG's Lashblast in Very Black. I have heard phenomenal reviews and wanted to see first hand what the hype was all about. Like many others have said the "chubby" handle and ultra thick applicator are a tad awkward at first. But, you get used to it. The black was very rich and did not "gray-out" even after hours of wear. The formula was great and glided on my lashes effortlessly. Although, to achieve my desired "blasted" look it took quite a few coats. I was however a little let down that it really didn't lengthen my lashes. I know, it's more so of a "volumizing" mascara but with a name like "LashBlast"??? I guess I expected more. Using my CoverGirl Make-Up Masters Lash Curler did help when using this mascara to intensify the effects and to achieve the illusion of lash length that I very much crave. All in all though, a pretty good mascara with a good bang for your buck. I'd give it probably a B or B+ Thanks for reading and I hope this review was helpful to some of you!

I'm going to make this short && sweet. My name is Jessica I'm 19 and I am an aspiring Makeup Artist. I am trying to get my YouTube channel up and running and just have not had the time to record and edit videos.
