last call for after Christmas clearance at DaySpring!

2013-01-29T19:38:00.001-05:00

DaySpring's blowout after Christmas clearance is in its final days. Keepsake ornaments are as low as $6.49. I purchased several of these for us, and I also bought some to save for gifts next Christmas. I know it's a long way off, but I'm already looking forward to hanging them on our tree!

I'm so into chevron right now, and I just love these stockings! I bought two red and two green to use next year {our stockings are getting pretty ratty}. They are such great quality for reasonable price of $11.99. I know I looked at stockings before Christmas, and the really nice ones much more expensive!

I gifted these frosted tea light holders. They are so pretty, and on sale for $9.99. This set would make the perfect hostess gift. I've already started my stockpile closet for next Christmas!

There are tons more deals over at DaySpring, but these are just a few of my favorites. Hop over and grab some bargains!

I'm baaaack...and DaySpring deals

2013-01-25T10:52:00.000-05:00

So, I dropped the ball. Again. I just looked, and my last post was around Thanksgiving. With the craziness of everyday life, work deadlines, Christmas, and two birthdays to follow shortly after, I've been too busy to do much of anything but plan, organize, and plan some more. I've been off work the past two days with a sick little boy, so I thought it might be time to catch up during his nap. Things are slowing down, and I finally {maybe} have time to catch my breath.
There are tons of winter & Valentine's Day sales and deals going on this month, so my plan is to share those...starting now!

DaySpring is offering a bunch of great products at reasonable prices...head on over and check them out!

Padfolios at DaySpring are currently on sale for just $9.99.

Show Us Your Life - favorite main dishes

2012-11-16T01:30:00.000-05:00

~ Linking to Kelly's Korner - Show Us Your Life - Favorite Main Dishes ~

I try really hard to menu plan in advance, but that doesn't always happen. With the help of Pinterest, I usually manage to throw something together every night, even if it is last minute. Here are some of my favorite go-to main dish dinners. You may notice a trend...each one is easy to make and serve, because that's how I roll.

Nothing says comfort food like good ole American Shepherd's Pie. I. Love. This.

I love these lasagna roll-ups because they are so easy to make and even easier to serve. I recently had a guest who couldn't eat dairy, so I made a separate pan of these without cheese...so much easier than trying to leave part of a whole lasagna cheese-free.

These little meatloaf muffins are wonderful. I use the meatloaf recipe I've always used, but this it is so much easier to ensure all of the meat is cooked the whole way through...and they are perfect servings.

What are some of your go-to main dish recipes?

Thirty Days of Thankful - Day 16

DaySpring - {in}spired deals review

2012-11-15T21:19:00.004-05:00

I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share another product review hosted by DaySpring and {in}courage. I was so excited to come home and find a box stuffed full of Christmas goodies from DaySpring. Their Love Came Down collection is probably my favorite. I already had one of these table runners and always debated whether to put it on the dining room table or on the coffee table in the living room. Now I have one for each spot.

I also have the felt advent calendar mentioned in this post. I cannot wait to get it out and share the true story of Christmas with my family again this year. This frosted Purest Love trio tea light set is beautiful and would add a glimmer of simplicity to any corner of your home. I love the message it sends and can't wait to give it as a gift for Christmas. This Wonders of His Love ornament will add a sweet touch to any Christmas tree. I have two of these and plan to gift one. I'm thinking mine will remain on display somewhere in our home long after the greens are packed up for another year. The jewelry tree is not part of the product review, but I thought it displayed the ornament well. I am also really excited to read a page from the Advent Tabletop Devotional each day in December. DaySpring offers these items for such reasonable prices. I {in}courage you to hop on over and do some Christmas shopping and maybe pick a few things up for yourself. That's where I'm headed right about...now. Happy Shopping...and remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Thirty Days of Thankful - Day 15

2012-11-15T20:24:00.000-05:00

Today I am thankful for the family dinners we eat at this table almost every night.

It's one of my favorite parts of each day. :)
