Pretty Addictions Cosmetics

2011-09-27T14:47:00.002-04:00

Ok First of all let me just say this company is amazing. The products are fantastic, the colors are to dye for and this company has one of the best owners i have ever had the privilege of getting to know.
I made my first purchase from Pretty Addictions on the 15th of September (this month) I ordered about 13 samples and was so pleased with the products I ordered again on the 19th and just recently for the 3rd time the other day.
I have to say the colors are so vivid and beautiful and just look amazing when you put them on.My daughter and I were literally fighting over who would get to keep which color.LOL
We loved them so much so of course i had to order again but this time I decided to get 5gram jars which are full size products.
The prices are so affordable. You can get a baggie sample for only 1.00 (which a good amount of product) or you can get a clam shell sample for only 1.25 (which is a great amount for a sample size).
Of course you can also get full size products in 5gram jars for only 3.50 (that's insane,so much product) and 10gram jars for only 5.50 .Can you say OMG how amazing are her prices and guess what shipping is as little as 2.00 seriously 2 freakin bucks, that's unheard of.
She also offers a
variety of blushes and bronzers and a highlighter which is her personal favorite and she sells the cutest flower hair pins and O yes I just ordered 2 that should be here soon.
I hope you guys love this post and check out her Face book page http://www.facebook.com/prettyaddictions?sk=wall and website http://www.prettyaddictions.com/
cause really who wants to pay an arm and a leg for beauty products in a department store just because people think/say they are high end, really people they make that stuff for so cheap and then rip you off charging so much, you can get these beauty products for so much less and they are just as good if not better.
Her customer service is amazing and she is so attentive to her customers and the process and shipping time is super fast.I literally get my packages from her the same week I order. What could be better then that.

Candles By Victoria review /Featuring a new black label cande

2011-09-10T15:33:00.003-04:00

Hi everyone
So as you know I'm a huge fan of the most awesome candle company ever Candles By Victoria.
I placed an order after midnight on September 1st and ordered scents that I have never tried before including one of her new Top Shelf Premium Fragrance Candles From their new Black Label line.
The candle I chose to purchase is called Mojito and let me just say WOW this candle is amazing. The scents are so well blended together and so complex it's hard to place this scent in any category but the Black Label line. The candles are very classy,up scale and beautifully hand made.I just love the Black and White theme.
To me it smells fresh and clean yet fruity and sugary candy sweet. One thing is for sure I definitely chose wisely and I would recommend this candle to anyone wanting to purchase a Black Label candle.Mojito is a perfect scent for any day of the year.

Top Shelf Premium Fragrance Candle - Mojito - New Black Label Line

This are the other candles/scent shots I purchased
CANDLES
12oz - Sweet treat candle - Chocolate peanut butter - Amazing and adorable,This candle is so cute it's decorated with mini chocolate shapes bars and chocolate sprinkles. It's smells so good the chocolate is a wonderful scent and the peanut butter smells like it's right out the jar.

4oz - Sugared Spruce - sweet sugary candy scented pine Christmas tree - Love this

4oz - Chocolate mint - This one a good scent but I get more of the mint right now.It smells like a peppermint patty more then mint chocolate chip ice cream.Ill let this one cure for a while. That always helps.
SCENT SHOTS
Pink sugar - This smells exactly like the perfume pink sugar, very sweet and candy like scented

Trick or Treat - This to me smells like candy corn and caramel corn mixed together. This is one of the best Halloween type scents I have ever smelled

Sugar Cookies - This smells like sugar cookie dough right now.I can smell a sweet sugar scent but I smell more of a doughy note in it.I'll let this one cure for a while too.

Reese's peanut butter - This smells amazing. It smells just like a reese's peanut butter cup candy.I literally wanted to eat one of those candies after smelling this.

Sugarcane & bamboo - What a great clean spa like scent.I can smell a hint of sweetness and even the bamboo in this one. It's a great scent for the bathroom and or to have on while cleaning.

Genevieve's Tea ring - This is a nice scent. It smells like a baked good with a little bit of spiced Tea.I liked this one and the story of how this scent came to be is such a great story. (new scent)

Autumn leaves - A great Fall scent. When I sniffed this I can picture being a kid again and playing outside in the leaves, jumping in those big piles of leave. It also reminds me of trees and the outdoors. (new scent)

Nut House - This was the name that scent and let me just say OMG it's smells so good. It smells nutty and creamy. This smells just like Pistachio pudding or the ice cream.I love it (new scent)

Free scent shot/ Bergamot & Mandarin - This one is so good .I can smell the orange note from the mandarin and also something else that must be bergamot. It had no idea this one would be this good but I really like it.

Candles By Victoria order reviews for July/August

2011-08-14T15:43:00.003-04:00

Scent Shots I ordered

Country fair funnel cake - A sweet baked doughy scent, you can literally smell the powdered sugar on top and it's even better when melted.
Cinnamon donuts - This smells exactly like a cinnamon donut, you can smell the cinnamon right away and then you get this donut doughy scent.amazing.
Lime crystal kisses - This scent is amazing, you can smell a nice refreshing lime scent with a really nice light floral mix.
Raspberry Rainbow- This smells so good, you definitely smell the raspberry along with a mix of other fruits, this is definitely candle worthy.
Green apple - This smells exactly like a tart and tangy granny smith apple so if you love the smell of green apple then you will love this scent.
Root beer float - This smells just like root beer with a hint of vanilla, almost like a sweet root beer candy.
Sunburst - This is a very light orange scent,I imagine the sun coming down and kissing the freshly grown oranges.if that makes any sense.
Brown sugar short bread - OMG this scent is amazing and even better when melted.you can smell this sweet brwon sugar scent paired with a sweet shortbread cake like scent.
Brown sugar - It's amazing but this really does smell like brown sugar,to me it smells like a sweet caramelized brown sugar.
Orange carrot cake delight - This is a great scent if you love carrot cake and orange, you can smell both scents equally and they smell amazing together.i would eat this :)
Honey orange - I love this scent,I can smell sweet honey mixed with citrus orange.one of my new favorites.
Skinny dippin - This one is a really nice blend of fruits mixed with a bit of perfume and kind of clean smelling,at least that is what I smell.I really like it.(Congrats to Anne from the CBV message board for naming it)
Banana brown sugar drizzle - It's all in the name.A sweet banana scent with a mix of sweet cooked brown sugar.Love this one
Brandied custard - This was also a new favorite. This to me smells like a sweet custard and it even smells a bit creamy. I love it.
Candles I ordered
4oz mini's
Pink cupcake - This is definitely a favorite. All I smell is a sweet cake with vanilla frosting,my daughter says it smells like funfetti cake mix.
Bella Swan - This is also a favorite.I smell this sweet fruity/perfume smell and even though there is no grape in it you smell a hint of that too.
Mango sorbett - This smells like heaven,I can smell the mango mixed with i have no idea what but it's really good and it has an amazing scent throw.

And last but certainly not least the Gooey Cinnamon Bun Candle

This candle smells amazing and looks just like a real gooey cinnamon bun drizzled with sweet icing and topped with crumbles of cinnamon and sugar. There are even little mini cinnamon buns around the bowl hidden under the icing. This is a must have candle for all year round and It would make an amazing gift too.

For the love of Candles By Victoria /Learn the signs of obsession

2011-07-28T00:32:00.009-04:00

Ok I have to start off by saying I'm in love, seriously this scented wax is no joke.I have been ordering from Candles By Victoria since February of this year.I don't think a month has went by that I haven't ordered (can you say obsessed).LOL

Notice the signs of CBV obsession (Of course this is me all the way).LOL
You know your obsessed when you plan your orders months in advance.
You know your obsessed when you visit the site everyday just to plan and price an order.
You know your obsessed when you stalk UPS waiting at the window for your CBV package.
You know your obsessed when you have tons of candles and scent shots that are new but you order more.
You know your obsessed when you have a candles by Victoria wish list
You know your obsessed when you cry about the last bit of a candle/scent shot you have left.
You know your obsessed when every conversation you have no matter who it's with is about CBV.
You know your obsessed when your husband and kids know as much about CBV as you do.
You know your obsessed when you wake up at the crack of dawn just for a CBV sale.

I have to be serious though and say that when i first heard about CBV from my niece I was like ok I like candles and all things that smell good, but I had no idea what I was ordering. From the moment my first order came I was hooked and since then I have gotten my mother,my aunt,my daughter and a few friends hooked to CBV as well.

It's so amazing to me that I can be so addicted to wax,but if you've tried candles by Victoria then you know exactly what i'm talking about.

I'm always so excited when I know I have a package coming.I literally stare out my window all day waiting for the UPS man to ring my bell,Sometimes I run downstairs and meet him outside (I have done that many many times)and when I have that package in my hands I'm in heaven. It's the best feeling in the world.

There are so many scents to choose from,I literally stay on the site for hours adding things to my cart to place an order because with over 650 scents and more being released every month it is not like you can just go on there and place an order without it being a tough decision.

Scent shots are a great way to try out a lot of different scents and their only 2 dollars, that's insane. Not only does candles by Victoria have thee most amazing scented wax but everything is so affordable O and don't even get me started about their customer service which is awesome.I have never come across a company that cared so much about their customers and work so hard to make them happy until I found Candles By Victoria.I gotta tell ya they are the best and they actually listen to their customers and do everything they can to make sure that we are 100% satisfied.

Now on to some of my favorites.Since ordering can be difficult I thought I would share some of my absolute must have favorite CBV scents with you all.

# 1 Bath time with pooh - It was love at first sniff. This scent is like a sweet honey candy for your nose,it's comforting and relaxing and a great scent to burn/melt all year long.

# 2 Morning in Madrid - This scent is amazing,it's fruity orange scent will have you hooked.it also has something else that gives it a little kick like a peppery fizz.

# 3 Pink Cupcake - OMG this smells exactly like a sweet funfetti cake with vanilla frosting. It's the best cupcake/cake scent i have ever smelled.

# 4 Bella Swan - This is such a beautiful scent.I smell a sweet fruity floral mixture. This a must have whether your a twilight fan or not, you'll love this one.

# 5 Fruit loops - I am amazed that an exact scent of a cereal can be captured in wax but CBV did it.This smells just like the crumbs at the bottom of a fruit loops cereal box.

# 6 Mango sorbett - I love this one,It smells so fruity and you can smell the mango and other fruits equally.this is a great combo and It's one of Victoria and Candle man's Favorites too. (how cool is that)

Here's a little poem I wrote to express the way I feel about Candles By Victoria

Victoria's candles are simply the best, don't waste your money on anything less.If sweet smelling comfort is what you need then CBV is the best and that you can believe.so don't be decieved by other brands that you know.Order your CBV today, that's the way to go.

With over six hundred scents and more on the way, your CBV will make you happy every single day and with candle man packaging your amazing treats you better believe they'll arrive in one piece.Their one of a kind and hand poured with love it's as if they were sent from the heavens above. So I guess you can say Victoria's candles are made from angel's every single day :)

Playing with your scent shots (what can you spell)

2011-07-15T12:50:00.000-04:00

My daughter Haley and I were bored and decided to play with our scent shots and thought it would be fun to spell CBV with them.LOL
I'm hoping we are not the only ones that have done this.I know crazy right but it was fun and I'm sure we will be doing this again as we order more and more scent shots. We did have a few more but they weren't enough to spell anything.I love the colors,it's like a beautiful CBV rainbow made of scent shots. We are CBV obsessed, what about you ?
I wonder, what can you spell with your CBV scent shots ?
