Your NEVER alone!

This pretty much tells it like it is.. Always know you can call on God and he hears you.. James say's just be ready for HIM to answer in HIS way not our own,.. SO here is the promise that you are never alone!

John 14
15 “If you love me, obey[d] my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate,[e] who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.[f] 18 No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. 19 Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. 20 When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”
22 Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him, “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?”

23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. 24 Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me. And remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. 25 I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

This brought me to tears....

As I read Isaiah 65 this morning, I was tearful thinking how God was so loving to reveal himself and yet he was ignored, provoked,mocked, rejected and yet he is still standing there open armed with a heart for those being ugly to him.

I heard this news story about kids being bullied this week and was so sad and provoked to a defensive position, cause i wanted to go protect those kids, and stand up for them and get back in the face of the bully and my husband said but then you become the bully.. IDK really.. are we not a people that just want to be accepted right were we are and who are we to make any judgement on any other being that we are any better then that very person standing in front of us.. Who tipped the scale to say one is better then the other? Cause the Lord say's he has no favorites. and yet we a such a critical people.. Even of ourselves. We want justice for those who have wronged us. Something rises up in me and I want to go defend and make right for these kids who are being bullied.

That same feeling rises up when people mock or joke about the Lord.. They don't see how this Huge Loving God is wanting to take them in an love on them and give them a life full of his love. I pray all the time that God would reveal himself and make them see.

We need to walk out our lives in fear of trembling and I think that can also mean of OUR ability to be sinful so easy.. We need to tremble at the thought that we can sin so easily and get our head in the game and seek Gods will, grace, mercy and most of all direction that he would change our hearts to be a people after HIS heart and LIKE his heart. Oh Lord have mercy on us for we are a people that deserve your judgment.. please hear our cries of repentance that we would get our eyes off of ourselves and back onto you!

Isaiah 65

Judgment and Salvation

1 “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’
2 All day long I have held out my hands
to an obstinate people,
who walk in ways not good,
pursuing their own imaginations—
3 a people who continually provoke me
to my very face,
offering sacrifices in gardens
and burning incense on altars of brick;
4 who sit among the graves
and spend their nights keeping secret vigil;
who eat the flesh of pigs,
and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;
5 who say, ‘Keep away; don’t come near me,
for I am too sacred for you!’
Such people are smoke in my nostrils,
a fire that keeps burning all day.
6 “See, it stands written before me:
I will not keep silent but will pay back in full;
I will pay it back into their laps—
7 both your sins and the sins of your ancestors,”
says the LORD.
“Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains
and defied me on the hills,
I will measure into their laps
the full payment for their former deeds.”

I absolutely love the Song of Songs ...

As I study the Song of Songs, my heart gets so excited to have revelation of God's love for us. And mine for Him. To understand that He looks upon you with such love in His eyes. When will we grasp the incredible Love God has for us. He say's we cannot even begin to comprehend his Love for us. I believe that, because I contend daily to know more about him... to understand his word that it would penetrate my heart to fall deeper in love with my Lord.

Song 2:3 I sat down in His shade (resting in the finished work of the cross) with great delight, and His fruit was sweet to my taste. 4 He brought me to the banqueting House, and His banner(leadership) over me was love. 5 Sustain me…refresh me…for I am lovesick. (Song 2:3-5)

Jesus is so sweet to my heart as I rest under the shade of the finished work of the cross. We experience the superior pleasures of knowing God as we feed at His table and live under the banner of His excellent leadership. In this we becomes lovesick. The goal of my life is my own spiritual happiness. This happens best when I experiences God's Presence. In the future, my goal will be to walk as His inheritance regardless of the cost

A Time For Everything...

In my devo' s this week I am reading Ecclesiastes... Interesting becuase I have so many ask and I myself questions.. What is the purpose of "it" all, and "it" so often feels like chasing the wind. I love however that GOD has a purpose for everything. Everything He does has purpose and meaning.. We are to discover what it is He has for us to fullfill that HE would be glorified.

Ecclesiastes 3
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.

What is the season you are in? Let the Lord be glorified in your season!

Sweet Praises to His ear!

Wow.. As I was praying over this list of prayer requests this morning, I was overwhelmed in awe that this list was so long and so many needs, and yet our God knows every single one of them.. And He is the center of every single one of them IF we allow Him. I weirdly felt sad for our Lord.. That He sees so much grieving in his children, no wonder our praises are so sweet to his ears. I know He never tires, or never gets weary, but I can only imagine our praises are fresh to Him. Amazing that we each have all of his attention when we sit and seek Him face to face.. He is just waiting on us.

End Times...

Got Your attention with that title right.. Well here are some cool facts I learned in a study yesterday by David Pawson ...

He shared that in the Bible God shares 735 Prophecies or things to come with us. To date, 596 have already come to be.. That mean 81% of the things the Lord said will happen HAS happened.. AND there are 20 promises yet to be fulfill before he comes again. Pretty cool! Want to know what is to come, how to live your life, where the answers are, what is it all about? Check out the Bible.. It is a living breathing word filled with the answers! I love how God is direct.. Already has told you what you need to know! Read It! People Get Ready!

Check out the whole message at Ihop.org..
Our Reputation...

Had a great thought posted this week and it spoke to our Reputation and Character. So I pondered the thought, and I had to see what it was the word say's about our reputation and this became my study with some girlfriends this week.

Did you know there is over 28 verses that speak to our reputation? I was surprised. I know God said in Proverbs 22:1 Choose a good reputation over great riches;being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. So when I found so many others, I was amazed.

Some of my other favorites are.

Isaiah 48:11
I will rescue you for my sake—yes, for my own sake!I will not let my reputation be tarnished,and I will not share my glory with idols!
Isaiah 48:10-12 (in Context) Isaiah 48 (Whole Chapter)

Hebrews 11:2
Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
Hebrews 11:1-3 (in Context) Hebrews 11 (Whole Chapter)

So many good ones, all speaking to us as individuals and what we live we are known for. I have a girlfriend that always says to me..

Well Candra if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and acts like a duck it IS a duck!. Pretty pre-found, cause what it speaks to is that we are what we walk out.. That is what we become known for.

So God calls us to be a person in right standing. Now that does not mean perfect, but reaching for the right standing is living your life right with Christ first in mind. We are becoming more like him everyday letting our old ways fade as a new person in Christ is created. I love how God say's "you will know them by their fruit." Meaning you will know what people are in their lives by the life they live, the choices they make, the children they raise, the spouse they are, the person their are in their community. Our actions and choices are a representation of who we are as a person. In turn giving each of us a reputation.

When I was running a company once I called my dad upset cause there were some girls talking about me. He was so wise in his business dealings and I was so upset that they were saying things that were not true.

My father said.. Candra, first feel special that they are talking about you cause you must be important enough to take up their time in conversation.

Secondly The truth always comes out, so don't worry about other people, because your actions and the life you live and the respect you have for others will always speak louder then words. He was so right.. If you are living a life of right standing you will have a reputation to follow, and no amount of words will change that truth. Dad you are so wise!

Everyday we need to get up look in the mirror and ask. Lord what do you have for me today. What do I need to do to be come more like you.. What a journey!

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, acts like a duck.. It is probably a Duck!~ Ciao

The Comforter!

Ever find yourself in the midst of a season that seems like it will be impossible to come through. You feel hopeless and fragile. Boy have I ever had LOTS of those times. Times that I would look to heaven and ask God "Do you even know me, or care about what is happening to me?" I call those my storms of life. Where I feel like I have been picked up by tornado winds and flung around in the winds and slammed to the ground only for another one to rush in. Oh my, what a time in my life. It was then that I truly learned to rely on God. He was teaching me as in my first storms that as I looked to friends, husband, family... that they truly did not have the answers that I needed, but God in his almighty way had ever solution, and I learned this as I would begin to face the storms and keep my eyes off of my situation and stare at Him. Not a very fun lesson in life... But just like Paul, he has the same experience shared below. Check it out...
2 Corinthians 1
8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters,[a] about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.
See we continue to learn the lesson of so many that God is our only Comforter. He is called the Prince of Peace because all peace, knowledge and understanding come from HIM! You can rest in that because it is his promise, that you would have abundant life and His plans for you are good. Be encouraged, stand on the truth, the living word of God! God Bless~C
