There’s just something about seeing a classic rolling down the street that makes everyone stare. It’s like watching a piece of history flash before your eyes. Ryan Mccrery’s ’52 Chevy is no exception, this car is absolutely stunning, not to mention the 600hp motor lurking under the hood! A Look Back At: Toyotafest (TORC) 2013 (Long Beach, California)

For eighteen years the Toyota Owner’s and Restorer’s Club have been holding an annual meet of all things Toyota. Hundreds of Toyota owners and fans made the journey out to the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach to view the wide range of vehicles displayed. Just like the previous years I have attended Toyotafest didn’t disappoint. As I made the drive to the event I couldn’t help but wonder what I would come across this year.

SumoSpeed Presents: SpringFest 2013 Official Video (Virginia Beach, VA)

As the show season kicks off again this year, we all have our favorite events to look forward to months ahead. On my personal list of favorite shows is Springfest, an annual gathering presented by Virginia Beach’s Sumospeed crew. Every year the event grows larger and larger and the venue stays packed throughout the whole day. Every kind of car is welcome and there is a range of class entries for all kinds to enter. Stanced cars fitted on air and proper wheels were once again the popular favorites but a variety of muscle cars, exotics, and classics were proudly shining in attendance as well. We braved a handful of heavy downpours during the day, but once the sun came back out and dried the rain we got back to enjoying one of the biggest car show spectacles ever seen in Virginia Beach. Over the years of my automotive adventures between writing, photographing, and attending events all over the states, I have met and befriended incredibly talented and skilled enthusiasts; and the occasional crazy cool kids. Sam Sapula is without a doubt one of those oddballs that you just cant help but buddy up with, and his STI is a car that is as maniacal as it is astounding. Talent, skill and straight up lunacy is what makes both Sam and his car impressively unique and quite truthfully, a reflection of each other.

#PictureMeRollin: Paul Mann’s Nissan R32 Skyline

Well, it’s that time of week again; where clocking out gives a much more appreciated time away from work. Weekends are when we get projects done; wheels mounted, tires stretched, and stance all dialed in. To send you off into this weekend, Taylor Robinson provided us with a couple shot’s he took of Paul’s Skyline rollin’ down the highway. Sitting on a set of 18″x10.5″ Panasport G7′s, this particular Skyline exemplifies a simple, yet tasteful aesthetic. Thanks for the pictures Taylor!

The end of April is an exciting time for automotive enthusiasts in the Southeast. Builds from winter start to emerge and shows begin to pop up almost every weekend. For some, this last weekend in April may be their first car show ever, while others have been in the game longer than they’ve had a license to drive. Experience has taught us which car shows to not miss because of the quality and which ones to go to just to have a good time. Import Alliance Atlanta and Southrn Fresh’s Welcome to Atlanta pre-meet are perfect examples of when those two factors come together.

A Look Back: 2013 LTMW Meet (El Monte, CA)

Since 2010 LTMW (formerly LTBMW) has been hosting annual meets at their shop. My first experience with their meet was last year where I arrived very late. Majority of the cars were gone but the ones that remained were of high quality. It was then that I knew I had to make it on time to the next one. When I arrived to LTMW I was glad I didn’t miss it. This meet had not only surpassed my expectations with the cars that attended but also surprised me with the variety as well.

Just last month was Version Two Laboratories’ (V2LAB) Mystery Meat 2 in Orlando . You are probably wondering what the ‘Mystery’ part is all about. It literally means you do not know what to expect. One could walk down the streets of Downtown Orlando and could run into anything from raised Donks on 26s, track monsters, and VIP’d out rides. To say the very least we saw it all that day.
