Nikon D800 Photos Leaked

Several official Nikon sites accidentaly leaked a photo where you can see Nikon D800. But the photo was removed from all the sites few hours after. Here is the Leaked photo!

D800 is the second camera from the right.

Nikon D4 Is Now Officially Announced!

The Nikon D4 was officially announced today. It was sold out on several online stores less than one hour. here is more infromation of the D4:

16.2 effective megapixel, full-frame sensor (16.6MP total)

10fps shooting with AF and AE, 11fps with focus and exposure locked, 24fps 2.5MP grabs

91,000 pixel sensor for metering, white balance, flash exposure, face detection and active d-lighting

ISO Range 100-12,800 (extendable from 50 – 204,800)

MultiCAM 3500FX Autofocus sensor works in lower light and with smaller apertures

Two sub-selector joystick/buttons for shooting orientation

1080p30 HD video at up to 24Mbps with uncompressed video output

New EN-EL18 battery (21.6Wh capacity, CIPA-rated at 2600 shots)

Twin card slots – one Compact Flash and one XQD

Nikon D4 leaked!

French magazine Réponses Photo published pictures and an article about the Nikon D4. The D4 will be propably published officially tommorow, january 6. Here is the entire article from the magazine:

Canon EOS 5D Mark III and 3D

It has been years since we last time heard about the EOS 3D. nobody knew that the project would be still alive, but it is. But it depends on the relative success of the 1D X, 5D mark II and Nikon's D4 and D800.

5D Mark III

There has been rumors now that the 5D mark III won't have a high megapixel sensor
Also there have been rumors that 5D Mark III announcement will be at march/april.

7D Mark II at photokina

7D Mark II will be one of those big things that they will show us at Photokina 2012 in Cologne, German.

the camera won't have full frame sensor. It will propably be APS-C sensor.

Upcoming Nikon D4 information

there has been reported alot information of the upcoming nikon D4 as well
and here is a list of all the information:

CF + XQD memory card slots! That's right, the Nikon D4 will have the XQD memory card slot.new Compact Flash

Compatible with the new Nikon WT-5 wireless transmitter

Face detection/recognition function that will be working in the viewfinder (maybe some type of a hybrid viewfinder? Nikon had several related patents)

Improved video, I have no other details on that but my guess is 1080p/30/25/24 and 720p/60/30/25/24 similar to the Nikon D800

Uncompressed video out through the HDMI port

Ability to assign the two buttons on the front of the camera to smooth aperture control during video recording

Improved 51 AF points

Expeed 3 processor

AF detection range will go down to EV-2.0 (the D3s went to EV -1)

Autofocus system: 9 cross-type sensors that are operational up to f/8

The Nikon D4 may start shipping at the end of January 2012 (or only few weeks after it is announced)

Upcoming Nikon D800 information!

There has been reported alot information of the upcoming Nikon D800.

Here is a list what the camera holds inside:

36 MP sensor (7360x4912)

100% viewfinder coverage

Improved AF with face recognition – the D800 will still have 51 points AF point

CF+SD memory card slots

USB 3.0

ISO range: 100 – 6400, ISO LO @ 50 and ISO HI-2 @ 25600

The screen will be larger than 3 inches (probably 3.2 in.)

The D800 will not have built-in GPS

Expeed 3 processor

There will be two different D800 versions/models, one with the antialiasing filter removed

4 fps continuous shooting, about 6 fps in DX mode with optional battery pack

Video modes: 1080p/30/25/24 and 720p/60/30/25/24

Headphone jack, can input from an external device such as a PCM sound recorder

86k pixels RGB sensor

200,000 shutter cycles

Uncompressed HDMI video out (just like the Nikon D4)

Any information of the announcement date hasn't been reported

Canon 7D Mark II and 5D Mark III

Northlight Images mentioned that we will be seeing 7D Mark II and 5D Mark III in september 2012 at Photokina.

they also mentioned that if Canon releases a higher MP full frame body, it wont be the 5D Mark III.
NL says "There has been quite a bit of testing of higher MP sensors for what would have been the 1Ds Mk4, so 32-39MP isn't out of the question - it just depended on 'the market"

They did not give information of the 7D Mark II. so we'll still have to wait to her about that
