E! comedienne Chelsea Handler, 35,  may have called it quits with Animal Planet hottie Dave Salmoni if her monologue on last night’s show was any hint to what’s happening in her real life.  She joked that she had been working very intimately with Animal Planet up until a couple of weeks ago, enjoyed being in bed with them, and may hook up for an occasional project.  Salmoni, 34, has made numerous appearances on Handler’s Chelsea Lately since it debuted.  Handler, who hails from the East Coast, just like Canoodle Soup, broke things off with Comcast CEO Ted Harbert earlier this year.  Who should Chelsea get together with?

Former meth addict and Full House star, Jodie Sweetin gave birth to a baby girl yesterday with her boyfriend Morty Coyle.  The name for the poor kid?  Beatrix Carlin Sweetin Coyle.  Forget the Sweetin Coyle part because you’d have to have an IQ of about 2 to not know where that came from but Beatrix Carlin?  It sounds like George Carlin’s mother’s name!  Beatrix, now being called Bea (ok, now she really is someone’s mother), joins half sister Zoie, Uncle Jessie, DJ, oh wait, real life.  Just half sister Zoie.

Ah to be young and in “love”.  Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was photographed around Seaside Heights NJ over the weekend with her new hook up Jeff Miranda, 24.  They met at Karma, a nightclub where the Jersey Shore boys creep on a nightly basis and the girls dress like sluts on the MTV reality hit, and in a tantalizing interview with US Weekly Miranda throws out this gem of a quote about the pint sized reality star, “”Nicole is actually really cute and seems like a cool a** person, even though she’s drunk most of the time. She’s a real sweet girl.”  I don’t know who to feel worse for.  Snooks for having a raging drinking problem and or meeting such a loser or Miranda because he is attracted to Snooki and talked to US weekly about it!  Let’s just agree that they are both complete idiots and call it a day! Thoughts on that?

I think pretty much ever since Khloe and Lamar tied the knot, there’s been rumors that the E! reality maven and her Los Angeles Lakers hubby are preggers so this latest baby talk will probably just fuel those rumors even further.  However, this canoodler has no direct knowledge of any current or future offspring the two plan to have but the couple was caught talking baby names recently.  Lamar said if it’s a boy the baby’s name will be Luke Joseph and if it’s a girl, it would be up to Khloe.  How about in keeping up with this K kraziness call the kid Kristina Kardashian Odom.  Just my two cents.  Feel free to brainstorm some names for the Kardashian-Odom offspring.

Bachelor contestant and Dancing with the Stars diva, Melissa Rycroft is expecting her first child with hubby Tye Strickland to whom she has been married to for just a few short months.  In other pregnant news, Victoria’s Secret cutie Miranda Kerr is preggers with her first child with hubby Orlando Bloom.  Rycroft is copping to her pregnancy while Kerr is staying mum.

Country singer Leann Rimes and fellow homewrecking boyfriend Eddie Cibrian are shacking up.  The pair, who allegedly began a relationship while Rimes was married to hubby Dean Sheremet and Cibrian was allegedly with model and mother to his children Brandi Glanville, will be moving to Rimes’ home in LA’s San Fernando Valley because the lease on Cibrian’s pad is up.  A source tells People Mag that the pair wanted to “make sure it was done in the right way.”  Um, yeah, nice try but I think it’s a little late for that guys.  Even though Eddie’s dimples still make my heart melt, he definitely got a hotness downgrade for his alleged homewrecking behavior.

Just after Kim Kardashian received death threats for posing for a picture with tween sensation Justin Bieber, fans of the pop star might have a new license to kill after Miley Cyrus was spotted going to dinner with the 16-year-old heartthrob.  Cyrus said she wasn’t afraid of being spotted with Bieber even though Kardashian had received such threats.  She said she and Bieber got together to discuss a side project.  Watch your back Miley.  Just sayin.

Nascar racer Jeff Gordon announced on his website Thursday that he is expecting his second child with wife Ingrid Vandebosch.  He writes, “Hey fans, Ingrid and I wanted to be the first to tell you (ok maybe not the first, but not far from it) the exciting news that Ingrid is 12 weeks pregnant and expecting our second child. We’re very excited and can’t wait to expand our family to four. Ella is also very excited and can’t stop talking about how much she’s looking forward to being a big sister.”  Gordon and Vandebosch have been together since 2006 and their first child Ella was born in 2007.  One, Two, Three,

Just in time for Valentine’s day and coincedentally the release of Garner’s new movie, Valentine’s Day, she tells dishes to Parade Magazine on what it takes to keep the romance alive between her and her husband, Ben Affleck with whom she has two kids.  She says you have to steal the time and when the kids are asleep you…well, you know.  Yes, Jennifer we know and we are jealous.  Ben Affleck is one tasty catch just as long as he doesn’t do a sequel to Gigli.

Dennis Hopper, the actor who has appeared in such films as Speed, Meet the Deedles, Waterworld, and Super Mario Bros, has filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years, Victoria.  Hopper, 73, is battling cancer.  Hopper also has a six, (6?) year old daughter whom he is seeking joint legal custody of.  Papers list irreconciliable differences as the motive for the split.
