i used Hello Again stamp set which is in the big catalog but also available in the SAB mini on the inside back cover. The card stock is Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White. The ink Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise, oh and Daffodil Delight. The ribbon and button are from the SAB mini too in the ribbon and button pack. i used the scallop trim border punch and dimensionals, mini glue dots, the signo white gel pen and a black marker. i hope you like it. It is bright!

i put this together, after 3 tries, finally a nice candy box. i cut 2 hearts the size i wanted, one just a tad bigger, cut 1 1/2" sides, attached, cut a bigger heart, covered with SU d/p and glued to the box.

All the SU purples, Punches: square and word punch and elegant tag punch, white emboss pwd, Northern Hearts and teeny tiny wishes stamp sets. Ribbons: white silk and Concord Crush stitched. Pearl and black jewelry accessories. i used a similar sketch that i used last year. Thanks for looking!

i made this card for a shoebox swap at the Portland regionals. i used the Stampin' Up designer paper in the mini, red, marina mist card stock. i used 3/8" red grosgrain ribbon, two SU punches and 2 nesties. i used water color paper, and reinkers. i also used crystal effects, red fine glitter, pearl accessories and i think that is it. Thanks for looking and i appreciate any remarks.

i just got "For all you do" stamp set from Stampin' Up! today. i had to try it out. i used Cherry Cobbler(don't you just love the sound of that?), black, white and Daffodil delight card stock and markers in the same colors plus garden green and old olive. i used the satin Daf. Delight ribbon and the garden green buttons from the regal button collection. i used the lacy border punch, dimensionals and glue dots. i like the way it turned out. Happy Thanksgiving box of chocolates

i tweeked the happy holidays box i did a couple years ago and made a happy Thanksgiving box with 3 rows. 12 long wouldn't work and that's how long Thanksgiving is. So i made it wider. The green doesn't show well but it really does say Happy Thanks giving. i used some old d/p for the wrap around the candy and not sure i like it so much but you could use any you have. The dimensions of the cut box are 9 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches. i scored at 1/4, 1 and 1 3/4 on all sides and cut all the corners except the rectangle furthest in. The sleeve is 6 3/8 by 10 1/2. i scored it 3, 3 3/4, 8 and 8 3/4. i folded on the score lines and used sticky strip to keep the sides down. i used the wide Stampin Up ribbon in old olive and the pumpkin pie narrow taffeta ribbon and a vintage tag. For the letters i adhered the new sticky sheets to different card stock and cut them with the Naturally Serif letter sizzlits decorative strip. For the pumpkins and leaves i stamped Autumn Harvest stamp set and cut them out and the leaves too. i colored with crayons first, but it didn't seem bright enough so i markered them with pumpkin pie, elegant eggplant, old olive, curry and red. Nice gift for teachers or for the hostess at Thanksgiving.

New Stampin' Up! material project

Mrs. Gardner had a challenge on her blog for using the new material in the holiday mini. This is what i came up with. i used the material to cover balls, cut out holly leaves(always artichoke), rich razzleberry 1 1/4" wide striped grosgrain ribbon, rich razzleberry 1/8" taffeta ribbon and some material stiffener and Stampin' Up! buttons(also in the mini), a little glue gun, wire and a metal ring. It was hard mounting them so they would hang correctly and i put the top ribbon on and then couldn't hang it so i had to add a ribbon loop so i could hang it on a door. i think it looks pretty good. Sometimes my visualizations don't turn out anywhere near what i wanted. i realize the material has cherry cobbler but we don't have any ribbon in that color so i used the rich razzleberry. i hope that works?

i made this card from a sketch from i believe Taylored Expressions? Anyway, i tweeked it a bit. i liked how it turned out. Not the usual holiday colors for sure! i used Stampin' Up! punches, cardstock, brads, and stampset called Bells and Boughs. i did use some nesties and some gold beads that are not SU. i used copic markers to color in the images. My grandson came and stayed a few days with us. He helped by cleaning, vacuuming and sweeping. He was very good! i wanted to keep him but his mom and dad said "no!" He is such a sweetheart.
