Farmers Market, Thursday afternoons at CCA!

You're invited to the Grand Opening of the Pacific Highlands Farmers Market at CCA on Thursday, May 17 from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm. You won't want to miss the variety of food and amazing artists, including CCA's very own Envision Music performing! Open to all in the community, the Farmers Market will be a weekly event at CCA through the Summer and beyond! Modeled after the successful Leucadia Farmers Market, the Pacific Highlands Farmers Market at CCA is a California Certified Farmers Market, featuring California-certified fresh produce in addition to cooked and specialty foods and amazing artists. And the best part is that proceeds benefit Canyon Crest Academy Foundation and support programs at CCA. The Farmers Market will be in the CCA staff parking lot (Closest to corner of Del Mar Heights Road and Carmel Valley Road), Every Thursday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

New Athletic Packet for 2012-13 Season!

SDUHSD requires that all student athletes for the 2012-2013 school year have a Sports Physical after June 1, 2012. You can get your physical from your doctor, or at the CCA Foundation's 3rd Annual Sport Physical Night, June 5, 2012, 5:00 – 8:00 pm. The cost is $25.00 per athlete and ALL proceeds benefits the Athletic Department at CCA. The event will be held at:

The event will include a cocktail reception with silent auction. UPDATE: Times were incorrect, Prom is 6:00 to 11:00pm, Silent Auction is 6:00 to 7:30pm. The fabulous Eve Selis will provide the entertainment along with CCA student dance team and musicians.

ACT Test Prep Fundraiser

The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation presents an ACT Test Prep Fundraiser: an ACT Mock Test and an ACT Boot Camp held by Eureka Review (www.EurekaReview.com) on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The Mock Test will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (arrive early to be seated), and the Boot Camp will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (bring your own lunch.) Students are instructed to bring pencils and calculators.

You must pre-register with Eureka Review at 877-463-8735.

Canyon Crest Academy (CCA) and Canyon Crest Academy Foundation (CCAF) do not endorse or recommend any particular test preparation company, service or individual. Conducting this event on CCA's campus does not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by CCA, CCAF or anyone else. This event is being held as a fundraiser by the CCAF. A portion of the fees for these one-day programs are donated to CCAF, although, additional coursework with Eureka Review (outside of the Mock Test or Boot Camp) do not benefit CCAF.

at the Del Mar Hilton (Jimmy Durante Blvd and Via de la Valle).

The popular Canyon Crest Academy Foundation Raven Wishes Nights return on March 6, for our Envision Night. Meet with teachers and administrators one-on-one, learn what is needed to keep CCA’s award-winning Envision programs on top, and make a donation to the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation for needed items. Any size donation small or large is appreciated! Admission is free. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and parking will be provided. RSVPs are welcome to ravenwishes@yahoo.com

Raven Wishes Boards will be on display featuring items supported by Foundation donations that are needed to provide faculty support and supplement all Envision day classes and Conservatories. The Envision Raven Wishes Night will feature all of the CCA Envision departments (click the links to view their Wishes Lists): Theater, Digital Fine Arts, Vocal Music, Dance, Cinema and Instrumental Music. Don't forget the Academics, Counseling and Technology lists: Counseling, English, Math, PE, Science & QUEST, Social Sciences, Special Ed, Technology and World Languages.
