Funziona anche localmente, ma è consigliabile farlo da un altro server:

ab -kc 10 -t 30 http://localhost/

Con queste opzioni il tool apre 10 connessioni e bombarda il server di richieste per 30 secondi.

Il secondo è solo un tutorial, mentre il primo è il sito di un designer canadese, che contiene numerosi articoli interessanti, nonché parecchi ottimi tutorial (per principianti come me ovviamente) per imparare ad utilizzare Illustrator.
