Praise God with us:
1. The Good News Club Day Out on Monday was a great success. Despite glitches in our plan, there were 47 children that attended, with 20 workers, and 17 children that trusted Christ as their Savior.
2. We praise God for all of the volunteers that worked with us to make Day Out a success.
3. Another large gift was received to help with staff support for our chapter.
4. We are thankful for God's protection for us and our GNC volunteers.

Please pray with us:
1. Pray for the children that attended the Day Out yesterday to remember what was taught, and for those children who made the decision to trust Christ as their Savior to grow in their new life in Christ.
2. Pray for new GNC volunteers, Rick and Rhonda. They are trying to get a club going a Beagle Elementary in Grand Ledge. No children have attended the club yet. Both Rick and Rhonda spent time in the hospital this past weekend with different illnesses.
3. Pray for the students in the Teaching Children Effectively 1 course to be able to grasp the methods and concepts being taught.
4. Pray for plans for the staff to attend the CEF International Conference in May. It will cost approximately $1500 for the conferences fees for Doug, Maryann, and Elias.
5. Continue to pray for young people considering attending Christian Youth In Action this summer: Alex, Madison, Vivian, David, Daveon, Kaleem, John, and Mary.
6. A church in Hartland is contemplating have a GNC in a school there.

The CEF of MI, Capital Area Chapter Annual Spring Banquet is Thursday, April 23 at Faith Bible Church. Dinner begins at 6:30, the program begins at 7:15 with a special children's choir and special speaker, Randy Barton - Director of the Men's Mission for the City Rescue Mission of Lansing. This event is free, but an offering will be taken for summer ministries.
