ISLAMABAD: The High Court has sought relevant records from the PTA till July 13 on a petition against the suspension of PubG Game.

Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court heard the petition against the suspension of the game by the company controlling PubG Game in Pakistan. The company's lawyer said that the PTA did not give us any notice or notification of game suspension. The PTA will hear the petition on July 9.

PTA's lawyer told the court that according to the Lahore police letter, Game was suffering from depression which was leading to suicides. When the PTA initiated proceedings, an email was also sent to the company.

During the hearing, Justice Amir Farooq remarked that the main reason for the suspension of the game is the occurrence of suicides. The PTA has to be told how this game is causing suicides. We need to see if the game's suspension orders meet the legal requirements. By next Monday, state whether the company has been granted the right to a hearing in accordance with the law. The case is pending here. Decide on the application of the company in accordance with the law without taking effect. The Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing till July 13, seeking records related to the PTA.
