Revealed at Geneva Motor Show on March 2010 ABT’s version of the Audi R8 Spyder as been customized in various aspects. First of, aerodynamically they used sight-carbon bringing some lust to the materials on front, rear and side skirts, and rear wing. One other major difference is the ABT front grille.

 The wheel set is comprised by the Type BR20 9.0×20 offset 40 with tyres 245/30R20 for front axle and Type BR20 11×20 offset 45 with tyres 305/25R20 for rear axle.

Power Upgrade

This roadster is even fast than the ‘original’ version. It has got a faster pull away, more torque, more engine power and improved acceleration.
The 5.2-liter V10 is now producing 600 PS (441 kW / 591 hp), going from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. This power improvement led to new suspension springs for better handling.

The aerodynamic kit encompasses a new front bumper with big air intakes and air vents in alloy look, air intakes / outtakes in the front fenders, tactful side skirts, rear apron as diffuser with openings for the stainless steel sports muffler with four tailpipes and flap control for sound optimization and a bigger trunk spoiler lip.

As for technical enhancements Hofele as lowered the air suspension through our ETS lowering module, an electronically plug-in-system, with which the height of the car can be adjusted individually (lowering of 40 to max. 80mm). Each of the three serial heights are lowered and can still be chosen. If the car drives more than 80 km/h the serial height is restored to have the full comfort and spring deflection.

Wheels: Hofele designer wheels, type “PRADO“  in the size 9,5 J x 20“ with tires in the size 265/40R20 or size 10 J x 22“ with tires in the size 265/30 x 22.

High-performance brakes with 6-pistons and bigger, perforated & slotted steel brake discs with internal ventilation, ceramic brake disc are optional.

Increase of the motor power by optimisation of the engine management without additional fuel consumption:

• 4.2l V8 FSI (gasoline) with 400 PS / 294 kW and 475 Nm, acceleration:  5,3 Sec. 0 – 100 km/h, fuel consumption: 9,5l / 100 km.
• 4.2l V8 TDI (Diesel) with 395 PS / 290 kW and 880 NM, acceleration:  5,2 Sec. 0 – 100 km/h, fuel consumption: 7,6l / 100 km.

Interior: Individual, 2-colour leather with stitched diamond pattern (like Bentley-Classic-Type),  with Alcantara roof and multimedia components.

The BMW X1 version from AC Schnitzer celebrates its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

The BMW X1 xDrive23d has been upgraded from a 150 kW/204 HP diesel engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo and Common Rail injection to 240 HP.
As for the 2.0 d and 1.8 d units, with the AC Schnitzer tuning package, these achieve 210 and 171 HP respectively.
The AC Schnitzer aerodynamics package includes: front spoiler and rear skirt extension, in combination with the rear roof spoiler; these improve down-force and ensure additional ground adhesion. AC Schnitzer Bonnet Vents optimise engine bay venting.

On the interior of this customized BMW X1 you have silver “Exclusiv“ carbon interior trim, illuminated leather gear knob, aluminium gear knobs with or without digital gear display, “Black Line“ aluminium cover for the i-Drive system controller, aluminium handbrake handle and pedal set, foot rests and velours foot mats.

The finishing touch comes from a set of attractive wheels. Also available on this tuning program is the brand-new Type VIII wheel in 19“. AC Schnitzer Type IV wheels in silver or in BiColor in 18, 19 or 20 inch, together with the Type

Unveiled at TOKYO AUTO SALON 2010, Wald’s new Lexus LS460 has a forceful and at the same time elegant outer shell.

The delivery will start in the middle of March 2010. As for the gracefully designed rims, that you can see equipped on the Lexus pictures, these will be available this Spring – named “RENOVATIO” implying Renovation.
