I was so excited today to play at PPA since I was dying to try out some new products. If you have that desire, won’t you play at PPA with us? Here is my pal Margaret Moody’s wonderful sketch. Here’s what I did: I created my base with the 2010-2011 new In-Color Peach Parfait. Following the sketch, I chose a sheet of DSP from the Hostess Level One Designer Series Paper Pack—In Color in Peach Parfait and cut out two pieces from it. I adhered them to my base. It's summer and with it comes glorious weddings! This week's Pals Challenge? Create a wedding card! Hope you'll join us at PPA and share your wedding card creations with us. PPA #50--Happy Birthday Color Challenge Card

Welcome to the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! Won’t you play along with us and create a card using these colors? They’re really fun to play with! I used Basic Gray for my base. Then I ran So Saffron through my Big Shot using Texture Plates Kit #4. I stamped my Birthday Block sentiment in Chocolate Chip onto So Saffron. I cut a rectangle out of Chocolate Chip and placed my sentiment inside the frame. Then, I placed the So Saffron on a slant and adhered it to the Basic Gray. It’s July 1st which means that July 4th is only three days away! I know you can guess what the Pals theme is for this week?!!! Here's the Inspiration Photo. Please play at PPA with us. Please play with us at PPA! This week’s challenge is a theme—SUMMER! Yay, it’s almost here! My husband and I went for a ride over the weekend and as I looked out of the car window (which is what I love to do), we passed the prettiest arrangement of purple and orange flowers. The colors were so vibrant and they put me in such a good mood.
