What if the formula for success involved failure. What would you do?

If I told you that you will have thousands of failures in your life and achieve success only once, how would you feel?

What is it with Project Management and beautiful women.

Positive Thinking Vs Negative Thinking

-tve = Negative

I have often wondered!

Which is stronger?

The power of positive thinking or the power of negative thinking.

Story! Story!! -------------------- Story!!!

There was once a man who had a dream (+tve) to start a business. Excited and filled with so much energy (+tve) , he told his wife about the whole idea. She was happy for him (+tve) but had her doubts (-tve / +tve). The man was happy about the fact that his wife was happy for him (+tve) but took her doubts into consideration (-tve).

He was still optimistic (+tve) about his dream business but now had the doubts
(-tve) his wife had shown out of concern for their future. He pondered on his idea for a few more days and decided to tell his best friend. His friend was once again excited for him (+tve) but had his objections (-tve): "Even if you start the business, what if it does not do very well, you could loose everything" (-tve).

Filled with so much doubt and uncertainty (-tve), he slumped himself onto the next available couch and switched on the TV. The first channel that came up had the 'News at 9' showing: "4 out of 5 businesses fail within the first year" (-tve).

The man was finally convinced that starting a business was the worst idea he had ever had. He remained at his old job until he was 65 and retired with a not so good pension. His debts were far bigger than his dreams this time around, and he now had to rely on government support. At age 85, he talks about the 'what if's'.

Negative thinking can take away your dreams - It is far more powerful than the power of positive thinking.

After a two hours of coaching, some chilli pepper squid and two glasses of mixed fruit juice, Helen told me she was now ready for the final interview.

I would expect nothing less because she utilised my time effectively to benefit her immediate needs.
