There is a caveat with using Indeed.com . . .

So after you download the toolbar you notice the response time on your web browser being sluggish or much slower. From the toolbar, follow these steps to bring your web browser back to warp factor 9 [for you Star Trek fans].

1. Click on the down pointing twistie triangle to the right of the ETP Network logo.
2. Click on the "Toolbar Options" menu item.

3. Click on the "Predefined Components" tab.
4. Turn off the check marks for Smart Radar and news ticker.

When you want catch up on ETP Network news ticker or check out your latest Smart Radar subscription updates, turn the check marks back on.

Recently, I sent a LinkedIn invitation to someone I met. They wrote me back in being excited about joining my network on LinkedIn. Then the person said "what is LinkedIn and what do I do next"? The reality is the power of LinkedIn facilitating social network connections for a job search or closing business deals is a foreign thought to many people. For people who know about LinkedIn, getting started is still a daunting challenge. Using all of LinkedIn's powerful features does take some dedication in time, mixed with a little patience.

I Can't Load Toolbar on My Mac

Software developers do not appear to give much thought to designing applications to be Safari compliant. Safari is the default web browser that comes with a Macintosh computer.

The ETP Network toolbar is web browser based, not operating system (OS) based. It works in Internet Explorer and Firefox. So on a Mac you would have to download Firefox. We have tested the toolbar on a Mac running the Parallels software. Parallels allows flip flopping, at will, between Mac OS and Windows OS [alt enter]. So we have the toolbar loaded on Firefox in both operating systems. The ETP Network toolbar, powered by Conduit, runs without a glitch.

During our last free career coaching conference cal l, which had 68 participants, one person expressed reservations about installing the ETP Network toolbar. This concern referred to any web browser technical conflicts with having both the ETP Network toolbar and the Google toolbar installed. Other people may have the same concerns regarding the Yahoo! toolbar.

Our tests indicate there are no conflicts installing the ETP Network toolbar with either the Google or Yahoo! toolbars. This includes using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox web browsers. Our experience is technical difficulties that appear to be toolbar related are usually web browser related. This appears to happen more often in Internet Explorer, than Firefox.

The ETP Network toolbar also contains no spyware or adware.
