You can follow this standard procedure how to insert your adsense code into blogger Gadget:

Login to your adsense account, create an adsense, follow the step of instructions until you get your adsense code.
Block and select all, then copy the code.
Go to your blogger and open Layout page.
Create a new Gadget >> select HTML/Javascript >> paste you adsense code at box editor, save it and done! you had finished your first job, congratulations.
