The meeting begins with an Open House at 7:00 pm, followed by the business meeting at 7:30 pm.  The agenda for the meeting can be seen here.

Come out, meet your neighbours, the Board of Directors and your councillor, Maria McRae. There wlll be display booths hosted by Ottawa Community Policing Services, Friends of the Central Experimental Farm and others. Light refreshments will be served.

To date, we have raised $2784 — about one quarter of our goal. Our deadline is tight–we cannot move forward with the hiring of a lawyer and planner without sufficient funds. If you have not yet contributed and wish to do so, please email info@carletonheights.org before May 15.

The revised bylaws are simpler to understand and administer.  They have been passed by the Board of Directors and will be presented to members at the Annual General Meeting for resolution.

Show your community pride and help keep Ottawa graffiti-free and litter-free! Take part in Cleaning the Capital by cleaning up public property where you live, work or play. Cleanup supplies provided. Register and you could win a prize.

The 2011 Cleaning the Capital cleanup was a very successful campaign. Over 86,000 community volunteers joined in to keep Ottawa’s parks, roadways and green spaces clean, green, graffiti and litter-free.  Cleaning the Capital encourages and supports community involvement in the City’s spring and fall cleanup efforts. Entire communities including schools, neighbourhood organizations and associations, businesses, families, friends and individuals take up the annual Cleaning the Capital challenge.

Any interested residents are encouraged to email info@carletonheights.org if they would like to participate.
