Hey guys, I hope you all had a fun weekend! On Friday, I went to May's to play mahjong while Julie went to a party. Saturday and Sunday, I just stayed at home and relaxed and worked on some blogs. As I was on my computer, the light in my room just went out. I was so irritated that I had to go get another light bulb. Thank god that there was still some light bulbs left. But then I realized how bland all of our lighting looks. Maybe Quoizel lighting will come in handy in the near future...

Yep, very early! HB and Julie picked it up last Sunday, the 13th. The price of the electric guitar and the Fender amp could buy me a new desktop and laptop. ***sigh...

She already played with it, sound ok, not so bad at all. She played one of Pink Floyd hits, it doesn't sound that bad. 1st time own an electric guitar. I'll share some video once she gets hang of it.

Goodbye to blogger soon?

Yeah- I have been thinking to have all my blogs powered by WP. Wordpress is not new to me because I already have 2 blogs powered by them and hosted by Lavie en rose and Angelic-Pink. However, I wasn�??t into WP because you know me I like to keep changing my layout and all; and with WP each time I change the theme I had difficult to do it. I did try but I get frustrated easily. So, I give up and concentrate with blogger layout. As you know I design/customize blogger layout.

Sistah Ethel helped me a lot with my WP theme, now, that she has the twins there�??s no way plus I don�??t have the heart to bug her. We all know having twins is not an easy task.

In any rate, there�??s so many beautiful WP theme, however, I really like my layout/theme customize. Now, that I kind of figure out and after successfully customized the theme of my 2 blogs, I decided or I rather say goodbye blogger, hello WP?

This might now be good for me, see, for past couple days I have been spending lots of hours figuring everything with WP theme and plug ins. Sitting down for long hours and keep munching, we all know what will happen wink*; so, I need a good fat burner like Leptovox so, I won�??t gain more weight.

Not so bad for beginner, I like it. What do you think? I really like WP it�??s so easy to navigate, now, that I kinda know. wink*

Of course I will help you out with your layout, just email me the layout you have created and I will install it for you. And I can even maintain your blog layout all year long if you will let me have the CS4 when you get it. wink*2x to you. hehehe. (pics was taken when we had sushi for lunch)

Stef is the queen of photoshop; she showed me some tricks and it's pretty cool. I really want to learn and be good at it. Hey Stef, I will invite you over for beer and you can show me more trick. hahaha. Oppsss, I forgot you can't drink for now, so maybe pizza rolls? hahaha...

Feeling so down

How the weekend so far friends? Mine, not so bad, however, yesterday I feel so down for some reason. I think it hit me from Friday that it was my last day of work. I believe this is normal after over 10 years of working. I am hoping I won't get depress.

Oh well, for now there�??s nothing I can do, I guess I should just enjoy while I�??m off. Anybody would like to invite me for comfort food? hehehe�?�

To Nadean and Stef instead of going to Detroit on Tuesday why not going to Vegas instead? Yeah- call me if you guys interested, who knows we could find free las vegas hotel reservations.

I am officially jobless!

Hello everyone, how are you guys doing? Hope all well with you all. As for me I'm doing fine but very busy. This week was the busiest for me, almost went crazy, so worried with so many things. I only work 2 days this week; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I was off work for personal reason. Friday, I wasn't planning to come in to work due to snow storm but I had to drag myself to end my job. Yes, I am officially jobless! Mira said I am SAHM now. hehehe. I'm not going to say much, the only thing I had to end my job yesterday so I won't get screwed with my unemployment next week. Hopefully by January I can find another job. My boss said they might have opening in Flint, I told her yesterday if there is I'm taking it.

In any rate, driving to work yesterday was terrible and it was my first time driving to a snowstorm. On my home I stopped by at May's house to drop off all my Christmas stuffs I have at works. May offered me a low fat cheese cake; low fat eww! NO it's very delicious you can't even tell its low fat. I stayed for couple of hours then on my way home road still bad. I took the dirt road; luckily I didn't get stuck until I pulled in our driveway. Half of my van was in the street, I shoveled around to it but it didn't worked. Couple people drove by offered their help but it just so much snow. Then neighbor came by to help until I got out, he had me park in their driveway until the kid who does our lawn plowed our driveway. Thanks to these nice people who are willing to help.

Julie is all better!

Friends, thanks so much for the concern and well wishes for my DD. She�??s doing fine now and we are still waiting for the result of the blood work. Yesterday, I had them check if she�??s anemic you know how teens are sometimes they don�??t get enough of sleep. Got the result right then and she�??s not anemic, her blood sugar also is good. We�??ll still be waiting for couple more result; I really don�??t know what�??s going on. Next week we are going to take her for EKG.

She looks so tired for some reason. When we got home yesterday she went straight to bed and slept about 4 hours.

She has a band concert last night but we didn�??t let her go since she�??s running a fever. She felt bad because she got the 1st chair and she missed it.

This is the first time ever happen to her and I�??m going crazy, was so scared. Her doctor asked me if I fainted before I said yes, she thinks it�??s genetic? Fainted, passing out does it genetic? I remember I passed out in the bathroom, Julie was still a baby I don�??t know how long I was out, and I woke up with Julie�??s voice cooing, (she was in the bathroom in her bouncer). I didn�??t know when you pass out they have to do the whole nine yard check up thingy; when hubby got home I told him what happened and right away he took me to ER. I can�??t believe they even had me have the MRI, they said just to make sure everything is fine. The result? I was anemic.

Anyway, DD and HB are not here right now, they went to Mathew (HB son) graduation. I didn�??t go with them because I missed work yesterday and had to make up some time.

Old picture of her.

She�??s home today because she doesn�??t feeling good, I don�??t know what�??s going on with her.

I went to her bedroom to comb/brush my hair, while combing my hair she was straightening her hair too. When I got done, gave her kisses and all of the sudden she fainted. Luckily I caught her before she hit her head on the dresser. Put her back to bed and kept checking on her.

Where�??s hubby?

He was downstairs getting ready for work�?�

When Julie was fainted, I screamed and was calling his name, I think he did not hear me. When Julie was fine I went downstairs and told him what just happened. And he got panicked and telling me to stay home and take her to the doctor because it�??s not normal. Of course it is not! I called to make an appointment awhile ago and lucky I got her in at 10am.

While waiting for the time I am reading the review about CLA it is a type of fatty acid that is necessary for your diet. I will think about this, the review sounds really good.

Where's my Spirit of Christmas?

I just cannot believe its Dec 5th and I still didn't put up any Christmas decoration. I normally started after Thanksgiving dinner and already done by now. I don't know what's going on with me, Julie already bugging me. Seriously, I don't know if I want to bother to decorate this year. Christmas tree and garland I think will do. The night before thanksgiving I did a last minute shopping for thanksgiving dinner and I saw a Christmas tree was decorated with ribbons, I think I might do the same so I don't have to bother to get out all the ornaments. Hmmm I'll just see; this is the first time in 14 years I have not touched any Christmas decoration after thanksgiving. Right now, I am still trying to organize my office and I need new office furniture. I don't need jewelry this Christmas, all I need is a new office furniture. Hope Santa hear me! wink*

I need a spirit of Christmas. Have you guys decorated put up any Christmas decorations yet?

You guys must have fun guessing huh? Thanks so much to those tried to guess.

The correct answer is "Cell phone", and it's belong to Julie.

This is a 3 days old cell phone that she accidentally punctured the screen. I have no idea how she punctured the screen, however, I'm lucky enough of buying an insurance for it. With 70$ deductable + the original price of the phone, trust me she was grounded for weeks. The time she punctured her phone, I should be grounded too since I flushed my cell phone in the toilet bowl. Please don't ask me how it happened. wink*

There's couple who guessed it right but unfortunately for Genny her 1st guess is a camera and cell phone is her second guess. This is kind of hard for me, but since Elda only guessed one time �??a cell phone�?? she won the guessing game.

Oh yeah- Dhoy M guess is blackberry, but I was looking of the word �??cell phone�??, what do you think, is she the winner? If she is, I will give the Christmas layout to Elda and make Dhoy M another layout after holiday. How that sounds Dhoy?

She's been yapping about her Christmas wish list for past couple days and I think this funny t shirts would be perfect to put in her Christmas stockings. I know she will love it since she likes this kind of t-shirts. Trust me she have plenty in her closet. Ever since she starts buying her own clothes you never see her buying dresses or girlie type of clothes. For special occasions yes, other than that nope. This makes me want to wish to turn the clock backward.

I can't believe I haven't updated here for quite sometimes, reasons?

=> as always busy
=> over the weekend I was busy doing my never ending household chores
=> and at the same time I was installing blogs
=> and change my Web-Blog Designs layout
=> watch my show 24 "Redemption" ... can't wait the regular season
=> was mad because I missed the 1st hour of it
=> make me madder I didn't finish cleaning the entire downstairs
=> even wash the floors didn't get to it
=> Why? because Julie's friend was over and I had to watch them
=> I'm sure you guys wonder why I have to watch them. hahaha
=> Even her dad was in the kitchen whining; at least he let them watch the movies and we were watching them like a hawk.

Monday

Relaxing at my Place

This is what I've done at work while pissed over the graphics I'm working on. How can a person be called a graphics designer can't even understand a simple instruction. Too bad can't fired him because he got laid-off already. I just don't like fixing people's mistakes especially when you reworked the entire package. I'm hoping I get it done this week so I have plenty of time to create blog layouts. I have a quite of layout to design.

Anyway, here's me and Vicki at my place relaxing. This was taken over the weekend. hahahaha. Would be nice! ***sigh...

Nadean- I will take the grill to your house this weekend (if it's not cold wink*). We don't have the truck anymore, I'll just use my van, take out the back seats I'm sure it'll fit. Thanks so much for taking the grill, give us more room in the garage.

I miss Camotes Island

I really miss this place. This is our hut house in Camotes Island designed by HB assisted by my brother who is an architect. This was built 2005 when we where there, and it wasn�??t done when we left. Hubby went there last year and had the chance to enjoy the place. I am praying that we�??d be able to visit the place sometime next year. You know, just a thought that this would be a perfect vacation rentals. What do you think? The place really nice and quiet, the water is crystal clear.

Today is crucial for me. Crucial, seems like very serious. Nah- I am just trying to clean my house and get rid everything that we don�??t need. Couple weeks ago I think, we get rid our washing machine, dyer and couches and still more to get rid of. Anyone need a grill? I love to eat and I love beer! I�??m not a drunkard; I�??m a moderate beer/alcohol drinker. Friday I killed my diet, I was really bad (blame to Nadean wink*). I had 2 Arby�??s melts (Nadean had 3) sandwich, chicken pop corn, and medium size or curly fries, that was very tasty.

Then after work I had dinner with Kathy at On the Border a Mexican grill restaurant. I tried their featured food the Pico Shrimp Tacos, doesn't look so yummy?

Hmmm it was very delicious. Oh yeah- not to forget our 18 oz margaritas.

Kathy and Nadean thanks for the nice treats, now, all we need is a diet pills that work.
