Today of all days this thing happened. My eyeglasses had an incident ... I sat on them, so you know what that means!

I was reading on the bed and then I felt sleepy. So I removed my glasses and then went to sleep. When I woke up after an hour (past 6pm), I looked for my glasses. I could not find them so I stood up and realised that I was sitting on them. One lens came off, and the frame was a

August is a special month. My Dad’s birthday. On the 25th, he is supposed to turn 77. He passed away when he was nearly 75. It still tugs at our heartstrings to think that he is physically gone, and we no longer could hear his voice, no longer could we hug him, no longer could we go to him for advice, or to just share a story or two, or to discuss some issues for his opinion and sometimes,

My office is located on the 3rd flr of an 8-story building. From my floor I would take the elevator down to the ground floor if I have many things to carry. Otherwise I just walk down. Day 1 of the year 2011. Thank You, Lord, that You have given us Yourself and Your word, so we will not get lost in the jungle of life. We can face the new year with confidence. 
We had our new year dinner earlier at around 9 pm coz we were already hungry. Could not wait for 12 midnight or the media noche dinner. My mom who is visiting is our main guest. So there were only the 3 of us. I prepared
