Good day friends

I had said I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to post today

well I have been awake since 1:45am - so I have some time to post the cards that I made for my swap team

first I want to show you something kinda funny

so when I was in Calgary the last time I worked on my Easter swap cards

yhap I brought of bag of stampin up goodies

wanta see lol

too funny uh?

so I finished all my cards in my hotel room

and since my January swaps were late I put them both together in one bit enveloppe

and I added little thank you card

I worked on these a few mornings to make them a little different

and while I was doing that I was working on Sandi and Lee's cards as well

I am done with Sandi and Lee's cards - I will share them during the week I am back in Calgary

I am just working on little bag toppers now

voila my little cute "Thanks" Cards

I really like to make each card special for each person

so anyways swap team my cards are in the postal service

I have Renee and Woody heading to a decal removal job

I have a class today to teach

I have to get my food ready to serve - finish laundry - shovel oh yes shovel cause we have a lot of snow

I also have to pull a meal for my family together as well

oh and I have to put these goodies together and ready to ship to my two wonderful FRIENDS

so having said that I best be getting off this computer and getting my list checked off

and before 1:00pm tomorrow I should most likely have a suitecase packed right ??? LOL

Coffee Cake Muffin Recipe on My Digital Studio - 2 days late

Good day y'all

so sorry I was not able to post yesterday

oh yes can you tell it's been quite the week

such fun he he

oh well what can a person do right?

Try is all I can say

and so here we have it friends

I have a little post today

I have a recipe that I have revamped many times and I beleive I have perfected this one

it's an all time favorite - and when I make it I always double this one so I have lot's of extras

as they freeze so well

all right so let me share the recipe that I created on

I truly love this program to make my recipes so pretty

aint it so pretty??

you can also make this recipe in a bunt pan instead of muffin tins!

okay I have a few little sneak peeks to share now

I have been working very very hard on Sandi and Lee's cards

and I have also created a few little thank you cards for my swap team

I am sending my last two cards today plus a little thank you card

so here's what I was doing with that!

so I am playing with a set that I have not played with before

it's called Natures Pace

I love watercolouring as you all know

the card came from an inspiration I had from a piece of framed art I seen

and I have played and played

in all this happenings I had to take a break from the other cards as I was struggling

well I am still struggling lol

I started trying to make cute little thank you cards

and this is the crazyness on my craft desk

and you should see my work desk

holly cow that's a different story

it's way worse then this lol

and so I will leave you with this friends

tomorrow I'll try to share my finished cards

but I do have Kathy's group that I teach

so I'll see how the morning goes

like I said crazy week

so girls I'll see tomorrow

get ready to do some distressing - if you have your own distressing tools - maybe you could bring them!

sorry this post will be a little life post!

tomorrow I'll share a super recipe!

but today it's just a little different post

I am working on Sandi and Lee's cards - I will share them next week when I am back in Calgary for 4 days

so bare with me friends

our Goldie is not doing so well - we just trying to keep her comfortable but some days it's difficult to watch her

I don't share many photos of our Cat Krystal that is our mousing cat

Renee made her a new bed in the office so Charlie don't bug her as much

baking from Saturday

this is a banana nut cake I made with cream cheese icing

I doubled the recipe and then separated it -

the second batch I added cocoa and chocolate chips

here they are both cakes iced

they were really yhummy!

so I have one last photo

ofcourse has to be Max lol

Good day friends!

It's Tuesday - the start of a new week for us! (remember holiday yesterday)

so on this fine day I have a quick post

this card was created by Renee (with a little bit of mom help lol)

for Woody's birthday/valentines day

here is Renee's start to Woody's card

I love all the sponging she did

conming along nice

I love the ribbon around the heart - it was too bold I think with just the black

distress away chickie

and look at Max

he is funny uh?

so nice Renee

she did great don't you think?

I love the elements she put behind the heart

and the two different DSP

oh and the sponging with distressing is always so beautiful

Happy Family Day to you from me sharing a few more heart cards

good day y'all from Alberta - it's a holiday here for us - it's family day

and so the office is closed today

and so family day we will enjoy with my family

we were 10 at dinner last night (love feeding a crowd)

it was so yhummy

I made a slow cooked pineapple ham (I cooked it for about 10 1/2 hours - bone in)

it was so tender and it had rave reviews

I made creamed potatoes (with dill and onions)

mashed parsnip, turnips with a little hint of carrots

I also did roasted asparegus with grated cheese

mom brough salads and

I had also made two different banana cakes

such a wonderful meal

I was happy that Bill was able to join us and be brought us a beautiful basket with all sorts of wonderful goodies in it He is so sweet- thank you Bill and Mom!

I know sorry I alway go on and on

all rigth I want to share a few photos with you

these are the other cards that I created for my family for valentines day

I went vintage on Renee and Woody's card and semi vintage on Rex's card

I used the DSP called

Good day friends

today marks my mamman's birthday

MOM I wish you a super fabulous Birthday

today and wish you the very very best of YEAR!

I love YOU mom!

to celebrate her birthday we had dinner last weekend

and I got her some goodies ofcourse

and made my mom a card -

you know the one that I started to share

okay here we go

so then I then I wanted to see what this greeting would look like

this is something I always do

put the stamp on my card before I actually stamp it

then I thought hum still needs something

how about them hat pins in the

Stampin Up Occasions Mini Catalogue

finishing up wth the greeting

but............... do

I have my mom's card completed?

there we have it

this is mom's card

he he can you see that I did not stick with the same greeting

after I had it stamped I did not like how bulky it was

so I went with this pretty

"happy birthday" Greeting instead

well class is interesting

and keep it very victorian

I started with several die cut hearts

oh yes this is my new die

Revamped Best Cheese Biscuits EVER by Carole'Anne

Good morning y'all

on this fine Wednesday I am heading to class

have to be there at 7:30 am - I am up it's only 2:23 am - lol at least I had my lap top with me in Calgary and I can get this post done for you!

this is a revamped recipe that I recreated from a companies coming cook book

I was first introduced to these by Liane and they are so yhummy

over the times I have made them I have given them a bit of a make over lol

so let me share the recipe first and then I'll share a few photos

here is my recipe I created in

I have some nice looking recipes now lol

the cheese biscuits in the oven

they rise very nicely

and I let them cook till they are a little brown

voila cheesy french onion best ever biscuits

the flavor in these are just so delicious

Happy Valentines day - it's a celebration of love for Stampin!

Happy Valentines day to each of you!

I am going to share photos of my class from Sunday

small group on Sunday it seemed everyone was on holidays

except my mom who was at home caring for Bill

I hope you feel much better Bill we worry and love you very much

We did have a nice Sunday dinner though - as a family

I KNOW we had tried to plan that since Rex's Birthday

We Celebrated 3 birthday's in one!

so Woody have a super great birthday today

all right so the first thing I will share with you are 3 photos from class

how nice uh? that Darrell joined us on Sunday

they loved making the distressed card

I love how each card is a little different

even though it's the same elements

I always tell my class - it's your card - make it your own

my idea is just that an idea!

and then we have Annette

such a fun class and yhummy snacks Penny thank you!

on Saturday morning I made 8 valentines day cards

one for each of my family members and one for Tracey at work

they each received a little something something from me

take a look at some of heartfel work I put into the cards

this is one of the cards that I created

I had fun cutting out hearts

embossing backgrounds

oh and I cut out a lot of letters too

that was fun

all right so I'll share my 4 out of 8 cards with you now

they all had gift cards in them

ouh and I moved on to a different theme of cards

but I'll share those with you later

so for today I must run I have a big day ahead of me

lot's of decals to cut and lot's printing forms

and then I drive to Calgary for classes that start at 7:30am
