I also have a new header, I fell in love with the font over at Paperdoll Studio and Michele was kind enough to tell me it is PR8 Charade, which is a FREE font!

Oh, and I’ve been advertising on different blogs this month to give Sweet Faerie Designs a boost in business. Which has worked out very well.

Then, it snowed and sleeted and the wind howled Sunday night.

It was a weird weekend.

We took in a boyfriend + a beagle. And rearranged our house to do it.

Say hello to my new office… to be painted something other than lime green.

Weird.

I am IN LOVE with Supernatural. I’m already a few episodes in to the 3rd season and right now I’m rocking out to Fifi Zappa’s Supernatural playlist on Spotify.

Usually I’m a top 40 girl, but I’m loving the rock & roll.

Just weird.

Oh, and watching my son play Call of Duty on his PlayStation… not a good move, I had motion sickness for an hour.

Low Country Lemonade

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
5 lemons
2 oz peach schnapps for every 6 oz of lemonade
one bunch of mint, rinsed and dried

Preparation

1. To make a pitcher to share with friends, you should first make the simple syrup (heat 3/4 cup sugar with 1 cup water in a small saucepan until sugar is completely dissolved). Add the juice of five lemons and add both to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups (to taste) of cold water (therefore, 8 to 10 ounces peach schnapps). Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Serve over crushed ice and garnish with fresh mint leaf.

I say we because my son is a little preoccupied with her, too. It’s probably my fault because her CD 21 is constantly playing in the Jeep and I’m always singing along with my most stellar vocal accompaniment – it’s that good people. :)

Being the boy that he is, he sings certain words of the song, but never full verses. And, during the songs he blurts out random facts about our girl. Like how the “industry” tried to get her to conform and lose weight and how she told them to eff off. We both agree that she’s a beautiful person, she’s got the looks, talent and attitude to be successful in life.

“I ain’t lookin’ like no “slapper.”

I can’t wait for her next album.
