I have found that Vista and Windows 7 disk management is very lacking in assistance on changing disk partitions. My solution is using either Acronis Disk Director~~v11 or v12~~ (corrected to v10) (Acronis True Image v12), give me total control to increase, decrease or change any - all partitions in Vista and Win7.

What do you think of moving a file into a folder and it uploads to a file hosting website automaticly? Interresting isn't it. Now it's possible with DropBox, an online file sharing-hosting software.

But how is this thing working?

Lets make that question simple for now. I will show you more in dept how it's all working.

First, you have to make an account. After that, you download their software. DropBox, when installed, will make a folder named 'My DropBox' in the 'My Documents' folder. To start sharing your files, you simply need to run the program, it will put an icon in your system tray with a checkmark (If it's not uploading-downloading.

This is the icon:

When you move a file it the 'My DropBox' folder, the DropBox program will detect you put a file in its folder and Automaticly upload it on their website. Cool eh?

What is the max space limit, what's the cost of all of this?

DropBox is free, but also have subscription plans for an extended DropBox size. Free users get 2gb free. Their paid plans are:

Pro: 50gb - $9.99 per month or $99.00 per year

Premium: 100gb - $19.99 per month or $199.00 per year

How to upload files?

OK now it's time to show you how this works.

When you created your account and installed the program, run the program. It will sit in your system tray with this icon until you put a file into the My DropBox folder.

Here is the My DropBox folder:

All the files you will put in the Public sub-folder will upload and you will be able to send a link to your friends so. If you put the files into the Picture folder, it will upload but you will not be able to share it and nobody will be able to see them. They are private and only you can see them.

How do I know when it's uploading and when it's done uploading?

When you put a file into the My DropBox folder, the DropBox icon in the system tray will change showing an icon turning like this:

The file that is uploading will also have this icon.

When the file is done uploading, the system tray icon will change to this again.

How do I put an image link or a file link to a website?

When DropBox is done uploading your file, right-click the file, then choose 'Copy public link'.
Note: You need to put the file into the 'Public' folder to be able to share the link.

After you clicked 'Copy public link', paste the code anywhere and people will be able to see the image, or download your file.

When you delete any file from your My DropBox folder, it will un-upload the file from the website and the link will become dead.

What's the waiting time to download a file?

Time to clean house... Dec-2009. open boxes in storage, dust off check and give to charity. WOW - Found 4 old windows 3.x WEP floppy disks.
WEP thru WEP #4. found every program - games such on all 4 disks work perfect in Windows 7.

I have all 4 disks ready to go, tested and work-install-play fine in Windows 7.
If there is any wants for them. I will RAR all together and upload for - The only problem with these old games is So Very Hard to STOP playing.

I saw a reference to Astrill in the forum, I thought It would be a go idea to find out more about this provider and give the software a test.

I must say the set up is easy and the speed test results are very good,

wmp 12 database and album art reset tool

ok well this something i wrote to clear the windows media player art cache out...
you would be surprised at how much album art is stored in your app data folder this is to clean all that out and reset windows media player to an unused state....
in win 7 the network sharing service sometimes locks the wmp database and it messes it up pretty bad to the point where you cant add any more music and old entries would stay even tho they have been moved. it was written just for that problem but i got bored and added options to clear media center files as well...

this little app has support for WMP 11 in XP and Vista and it supports WMP12...

We’ve literally trained folks who are NASA scientists (I kid you not), stay at home moms, and contractors who have not a single clue about building a website.

6. If you had to start your marketing career over, what would you do differently?
I’d give all of my life savings to SEO Networker. (Note from Ray..LOL)

No, just kidding… sort of :)

This one is easy, I’d spend a lot less time “learning” and a LOT more time “doing”. See, people nowadays think that “learning” gets them results… they think knowledge and ideas are worth something. They feel “productive” when they are learning…
Baloney.
Knowledge and ideas are worthless without any concrete form of action. And to make matters worse, way too many have the “shiny object” syndrome – so they soak up just a tad about a certain topic, just enough to get them started, they feel good, and JUST when they are about to do something with it, guess what? Something else shiny catches their eyes and off they go.
We are fully aware of this which is why we made Traffic Cipher so digestible – it almost FORCES you to do each step as you learn them, so there’s really no excuses for lack of action and lack of success.
7. What would be your number one recommendation to the beginner marketer out there?
"study internet marketing"Give all of your life savings to SEO Networker. :)
Don’t try to learn EVERYTHING, don’t try to follow EVERYONE. Get to know one or two marketing strategies that you jive with, and master them, do them, and get results.

Find one or two marketing experts/leaders and do what they do – follow their footsteps. I see way too many folks give 10% into 10 different things or invest 10% into 10 different leaders – doing only 10% of what they do. You’ll never reach full and true success this way. It’s like when digging for water, do you dig ten 1-foot holes or do you dig one 10-foot hole?

Find the leaders and find the strategies that excite and motivate you.

And if those leaders, in addition to Ray Higdon, turn out to be Fernando and myself… and if those strategies include SEO, all the better :)
