The summer is coming to a close!

Well, we have had a summer go by. Most importantly we have had no fractures this summer. We have only managed to make it to Knoebels once and to the Lehigh Valley once.

NovI is excited to start 1st grade. Irelyn starts a new preschool. Avaleen is going to be alone with Devon. Not sure how she will deal with that.

So the Verno’s spent a long afternoon in the west end of York. We did some shopping and had to run Devon to a home for a showing. The kids did great but wanted to get home and swim/eat, etc.

On the way home we saw this…

When we got home I worked to get dinner ready! Our first grilling outside dinner!

Hopkins Take #2

So Devon is @ Hopkins as I type. She has Irelyn in to get X-rays and a check up with the Head of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. They changed our appointment last time and we made a run for no reason… What a joy! Today Devon’s mom took off of work so I didn’t have to use another day. Since we have some anticipated appointments before the end of the school year. Plus, it has been nice to not burn through my sick days this year…since Irelyn has been rather break-free!

Let the Yardsales begin!

We have finished getting everything together for the girls to have a yardsale tomorrow. Hopefully Novi’s lowgrade fever breaks tonight and she is able to go to school to tomorrow. Having just two girls would make it easier for Devon.

We have Irelyn’s xray on Monday. The date they changed them to without telling anyone! We are waiting to hear from the Neurosurgeon about her MRI. They have to get all parties involved. I for one am not looking forward to it: one of the most unnatural things for a parent to go through! Just our opinion. They have scheduled a full spine scan and a brain scan. We will post more when we know.

This was our first visit to the Truck Convoy.. it was awesome! They raised $50,000 last year and were hoping to double it this year!
