Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Connecticut

Foxwoods is owned by the Mashantucket-Pequot Indian tribe of Connecticut and is the biggest and most lucrative tribal gaming casino in the world. Foxwoods welcomes millions of visitors annually and is consistently one of the most popular attractions in New England. The casino earns equal to half of all tribal gaming revenues in the United States, raking in close to one billion dollars a year. Interestingly, the casino is also the biggest in size in the United States and possibly the world. The whole resort covers over 4 million square feet, while the casino alone accounts for over 300,000 square feet and boasts over 7,000 slot machines.
