Hello Dearies! Frankly, I don't know what's with me, but I notice this latest post of mine, I've been digging the outfit that is very out of the season... Even Philippines don't have 4 seasons, and we have only "wet and dry" we do experience the falling of leaves and it's quite Autumn-ish here now. The outfit that I got here is very fun and very right for a summer barbecue party or something. It's fun and very colorful and way out out of the fall palette. A big "HELLO" to everyone! Yay! I miss you all. How I miss my blogging routine, blog hopping and everything. I am currently fixing everything on my plate now, a lot of personal things. Adversaries and stuffs that taking out the inner peace in makes me drain. August is a very tough month for me too because.... How I wish I could tell you all the details but I decide to keep it myself, don't worry I can handle things now unlike on the past whining (if you have red my post a long time ago which made me really emotional)

Centering on my main purpose on today's post is this All white outfit incorporated with this Chic black dog print shoulder bag purse which is "bad ass" because of the mad dog print sent to me by Ericdress.com I like the weirdness it brings at the same time the shape of the purse that still making it fashionable. And I am not troubled how the dog look, I've been bitten by my dog twice already, that's why I'm used to mad dog LOL. If you notice I look sick only because I'm really ill, inside and out. How I wanted to convert negative energies around me in one snap. Oh well, thanks again for always visiting my blog. Today my post is about this outfit featuring items from Dresslink.com. This is also what I wore when me and Michael visit the Pinto Art Museum, and I will have another post soon some of the artwork inside the museum, I will have photo flood if I will do an outfit post at the same time. Timing that July is my birth month as well as our Anniversary(8 years by the way)it's an anniversary date too. I hardly had time to choose a post where I can do a nice pose because the museum is quite full pack. By the way I love love cactus the giant ones, I'm one prickly Mama.

The items that come from dresslink are: Unisex Vintage Blower Jazz Hat , the eyewear, and the black skirt. I choose this because it's cheap, (thrift attitude) it's one hat's that I'm looking for a long time, The eyewear is to dye for too, because it has been trending since last year, and I know some of you have seen it worn by other bloggers. I even look for it on my local malls and other online store but I failed until I finally saw it on dresslink's sunglasses listings, it is the white one that I want to have but oh, it's out of stock and I chose the cream one instead. Lastly the vintage Hepburn classic skirt that has a very pretty bubbly pleat as I describe it, although the pleats are aren't as deep as pictures I still love it. It's very versatile, you can wear it with a crop top, basic stripe tee and glam it up with a lace heel, a pump shoes or pair it with a boots like I did here for a more edgy look.

I'm still experimenting my style up to now, and as I am going along I never been happier with the way I style my outfits. I hope you guys are happy in whatever you're doing, in your blog or in your personal life. I wish I can continue to inspire you more with my thrifty style. With sponsored outfits or thrifted ones. Hello Guys! Yeah, I think it's the dawn of mermaid and unicorns... Well dawn for me because I've been planning to dye my hair pastel (pink, purple, blue etc) since last December. And maybe some of you have seen my post about bleaching my hair a month ago. Here is my first outfit nailing my purple hair. Actually, what I really want to achieve is the very trendy "granny/silver" hair, but I want to experience the pastel purple at the same time, what I did is I pastelize the manicpanic purplehaze mix with white conditioner and apply it to my bleached white hair. After several days the pastel purple hue will fade and eventually it will turn into grayish silver. My purple hair fades after a week since I'm living in a tropical country, it is necessary for me to wash my hair everyday. I can't withstand the heat overtime if I won't wash my hair. After 2 weeks my gray hair will get brassy and turn yellowish, it's time for me to reapply purple again because, purple isn't just a color it serve as a toner also to eliminate brassy tone on bleach blond as well on silver and white hair. Before I achieved and done this pasteling on my hair, I put a lot of time and effort first on google searching diy's and how to's and not to do's on bleached hair. If you're planning to get pastel hair or at least bleached it to almost white do some research first.

About the outfit, I bought this off the shoulder top from Taytay, Rizal. I'll just insert, Taytay is a municipality in Rizal where their livelihood is mainly textile and garment industry. Would you believe that this top cost me ($1.32) P60 only? This lace skirt is in my garment few years ago and I don't have the nerve to wear it on a day because I'm not comfortable because of my kinda big butt, and the pencil skirt always pulling upwards tending to look that it's shorter while walking.

How do I look to you guys? Do you like it? My hair, how do like my purple-that-will-turn-gray eventually? Even I look "masungit" / grumpy sometimes on my looks, the real Cassie is like this below:

Hello everyone! At first, I was hesitant if I will blog this or not mainly because we only took this picture with a smartpone's camera, I am worried to have a low quality pictures to offer. I try to edit some of the images via Photoscape, and somehow gives decency for the blog to post. This is the time when me and Michael visited my grandparents where they lay. It's my Grandma's birth month so, I pay her and Grandpa a visit.

We went there in a midst of humid noon, and it was scorching hot, I was just so mindful of the weather and the picking of clothes just right, but then I got my skin tanned, hehe. SUMMERTIME HAPPINESS AND CONTENTMENT

Hello Guys! You know what, even I don't update my blog that much, my 365 happy days project is very late and all the social media platform that I use to connect to my blog is outdated too, but I was still feeling calm and contented with the way how my life is running these days. This summertime, I never get a chance to feel the warm sun on the beach or got the spa benefit of the beach sand, I'll still appease without them. I got to do my regular work even it means I have to work 10 hours a day. Even psychologically I feel that my ear will have an impairment any time because of the sound of my annoying printer, with that "unlimited print" of documents task, I still have the peaceful noise inside me. Added With some tantrums of my Papi every morning, I still need to have the aura of serenity. Maybe because I choose what to feel and not what to feel every day. It's hard to avoid stress and the factors of stressful people around you and burdensome situations that we cannot eschew. But it depends upon us on how to handle those negative things right? If you let negativity in, you will be knocked outed by it., so you lose your self. You are downbeat all day, for the week and so on if you let disapproving state of conditions. Occasionally I believe it was all in the mind huh! technically I do know how to write serious talks like this, I just kinda feel it and just want to share.

About the outfit, this fringe shirt is kinda old I bought it at thrift store few years back, but I can't find a way to throw it because of it's indie vibe. To add a little toughness, I paired it with my DM's, the silver statement necklace that I think I shouldn't wear, but I still did and to finish it all I wore my diy flower crown. I came up with this outfit in a jiffy and so my hair that needs a lot of toning. So How do I look guys? Have a blessed midweek!

UPDATE: MY HAIR / I'M STILL ALIVE

Hello Guys! How are you? Hope you're still doing great, how am I? Super busy, but I'm perfectly fine. Fine loads of paper works, late night home arrivals and busy, achieving the pastel hair I want. I talk sh*t about my last post because I said about I'm pasteling my hair before May ends, but out of thick hair issues and positive damage that my hair will have, I decided to do the bleaching process slowly because I won't let my hair suffer the breakage and crispy fried hair (that I already have) if I do it in one sitting. I just want to share with you how I look now for the first time that I bleached my roots and how the blonde level slowly changes. Now I'm on my level 10 I think. The first image is when I first bleach my hair last May 16, and done it after 4 days and a week and so on. Now I'm in the process of extensive hair treatments, which all diy's.

If your'e wanting to have a pastel hair like me, or just wanted to bleach your hair, I highly recommend to research first, research research research. Google and YouTube will help you a lot. Don't do the bleaching process in one sitting, your crowning glory is at stake. Or might as well, if you can afford to seek hair professionals.

As my creative side went on while I was doing my habitual habit (changing my lip color on a random) whenever Idon't quite like my lip color of the day. On a instantaneous moment, I tried on my black LOL (lots of love) lipstick and glide my pink matte revlon few times over the top and got these grayish purple lips in an instant. Because I've been enticed with eccentric lip color as of these days associated with lots of inspiration from teh mermaids and unicorns of instagram. Gray, purple, black even blue, green and orange dominates fashione scene! I think the fainted hearts anonimously would like to try these too.. ;) Because of lots of inspo I think I wanna try a little different for myself, even I am really scared of what kind of critique eyes would say but hey I've been normally normal with my reddest red hair before so, what could else will thwart me from doing what I want to try? there's still a little "but" and "what ifs" Oh well! Back on the style that I want as of now, the colorful trend of pastel hair that's very on trend right now. Beauty and hair junkie that they connect themselves with mermaids and unicorns. Honestly I'm really dying to try it! Colorful hairs and that statement lips, that can speak to itself even without making a noise. i'm going to challenge myself and try the waters if I can handle the mermaid life LOL! I am hoping that at the end of May I will have my mermaid hair.

PIZZA, HOTDOG, FRIES AND MY AVENGER BOYFRIEND

Como Estas everyone! I am glad that after my almost month long lack of outfit post, I'm happy to publish again. A simple date with Michael last April 25, I think I made myself clear above the aforementioned title. We've watched "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie, I should say it was the best movie of "Avengers" yet, It's my favorite movie of the franchise ever made so far. Full packed action as well as the story line how Ultron has made. Me and Michael wishes to watched it again in the cinema, but that's not practical right? hehe.

The element of frugality has always present on every outfit that I share, because even the clothing that I wear is brand new and not from thrift stores, like before that my reader are used to see, it's still a thrift steal because this cute shirt with a sexy scoop back detail that I'm wearing is priced not less than 2 dollars, or 90 pesos to be exact. I'm thrilled about the small scale local garments here in the Philippines because they produce clothes that is really trendy with competitive price and quality. I, as a thrift fashion enthusiast is glad that aside from sticking to what my frugal belief, I'm thrilled that I know I am helping the local economy of my country too, too cliche but it's true you know. This hip hugging high waist jeans that conceal my belly, etc. etc. To top this outfit up, I curl the ends of my hair to add a touch of the romantic look to my casual get up, red lipstick, chunky necklace, and heels and voila!

I include picture with my "Avenger" boyfriend, Michael. I say it so because he likes to have Thor's hammer ( if he ever has great power to even move it), loves to work on Starks Industrial Company, to smash like Dr. Banner's alter, and to drive Captain America's motorcycle. But sometimes he trespasses on DC comics and be like Superman too! Ha haha LOL!

march 20 (80th day ) - I got bruises and scratches again because my furry lady is very excited to see me come home... Jumping towards me and believe it or not she's gonna stomp directly on my groin. Sometimes her way of showing her love to me is painful LOL!

march 21 ( 81st day ) - Horror movie marathon with my sister. Horror or Romantic? def Horror movie!

march 22 ( 82nd day ) - Chibi's not in the mood again for pictures but her moma ..I insist...I love her furs after bath but he looks much like masculine.

march 23 ( 83rd day ) - New eye specs, well whether you need one or not, it's pretty geeky and hot! Chibyusa tried the eye glasses too and voila, looking sophisticated eh...?

march 24 ( 84th day ) - Redundant pictures on taking my glasses worn because, I just love the sophisticated and vintage look it brings.

march 25 ( 85th day ) - I got another addition to my vintage earrings collection, a colorful acrylic flower earrings I bought from a 2nd hand Japanese item seller.

Letter M has 2 important meanings to me, initial of my real name and the name of whom will replace my maiden name haha LOL! but yeah it's true. The fun part when I posted the pic on instagram is, when one of my male followers told me that he's "Mohammed" and he says I love you on the comment section.. Double LOL!!!

march 26 (86th day) Sometimes I experience early morning nostalgia... I just feel half lonely and half happy because of nothing... Bit of cray cray Cassie looking at nature around.

March 13 73^rd day – so I need to prep myself on this day because the next day will be the big day of the “forever bridesmaid” I went to the spa and get my nails done and did a little relaxing foot spa too. But before that I let myself experience breakfast alone. LOL!

March 14 74^th day – So the big day it is for the bride and the groom and I am just one of the decorated pillars for the ceremony…hehe 5th time bridesmaid indeed at least I’m yet to experience Jane did on the movie "27 Dresses". Perennial bridesmaid? Not yet! … hehe…

March 15 75^th day – Alright, so I am kinda stressful on the wedding day of my boyfriend’s sister result I forgot to capture the happy moments on a blessed Sunday.

March 16^th – I liven up Manic Monday by wearing my ever colorful harem pants…

March 17, 77^th day – Hmm, not a joyful day because someone test my nerve one morning. But he failed you know, he don’t know me, I don’t know him. I won’t let him be the ‘cause of my desolation. I choose to be happy!

March 18, 78^th day – Smile Chibyusa Smile!

March 19, 79^th day - So yeah me and Michael cooling ourselves on magnum ice cream on my 79^th day. ;)

I thought I'm not gonna make another #CassieThriftiersJourney post, I am really worried that I couldn't find time to prove to myself that it's not hard to be happy just for a second for a day.

April 10 (101st) - Big nose who knows! sorry for the big fat nose because I'm sick on this day but still happy with my great man.

April 11 (102nd) - florals on a gloomy day

April 12 (103rd) - Bim-bimboping and shabu-shabu-ing! Saturdate with Michael my love <3

April 13 (104th) - Dainty necklace heart and eiffel...from Amandas Place.

April 14 (105th) - Can't finish this "black echo" book and I do procrastinate I knooowww. And he loves to pry on my make-up tools and play it along with my face, that's annoying but I find it cute!

April 15 (106th) - Vistas, looking for a private resort for our team building.

April 16 (107th) - And this Jagabee potato fries, not that tasty that I expect it to be, oh well it's still food (junk food).

Hello girls! I know it's late to check up on you, but how's your Easter Holiday? Mine's quite fine and I think it's better than the past Holy Week and Easter Holiday that I had before. I took part on an annual penitential walk together with my beau on the city that's been apprehended and administered by our Parish Church community... Since when? I can't remember though I know it's been known all over the Philippines that many Catholics/Christians here is doing it every Holy Thursday. It's my first time to join such penitential event, yearly with a record breaking of 6 million people participated in such virtuous act. It's my first time to join and I am honored to one of that 6 million people. It's a great time to reflect all the things that I have done, mistakes that has been made, and to reflect the main reason why He suffers to show his love for all mankind. I know not all of my readers isn't Christian and I respect all your beliefs, viewpoint and religion.

It’s been such a long time since I haven’t posted anything that is outfitpost/thrift fashion related here on my blog. If you’re reading this right now, I am very glad that you come by and pay me a short visit. So summer has already begun here in PH, pretty, cool colors and summer prints are in again, but my first outfit post for this summer is a basic and a bit grungy. Well, Let me share with you that I’ve scored a Doc Martens 10 hole boots, and believe it or not, it’s genuine! Yeah, I know you might be skeptical about it, but it's really authentic I've checked every detail and the leather they call “quillon” all the qualities of a genuine Doc Martens posses by this recent thrift purchase of mine. The sellers might not familiar about the boots and its name that is why they sell it at a cheap price of PHP480 or around 8-10 dollars. This is not my first edgy outfit, but it’s the first one that I pull off I think I want to say the adjective “tough”? Grunge style is one of my favorites, but wearing one is very seldom, and just recently, I snap my soft style and vintage-y vibe out of me for the mean time to test myself If I could really pull this style very well. So is it grungy, edgy, or just Basic?

WEEK 14 || Got me day 100 of Cassie Thriftier's Journey to 365 Happy Days

April 3 (94th day) The penitential walk took us to wee hours of april 3, Michael and I experience the body to body and sideways walk to reach the Cathedral church because of the heavy mass crowd, we didn't know that we are among the millions that join the event walk. You can see the kinda blurry but obvious cathedral dome and the crowd outside. After we gain our sleepless night, Michael spent his day at our house, doing nothing but to play with Lady Chibyusa, doing what they do and I have no idea what there is on the window.

April 4 (95th day) Green thumb activity in the morning. Potting the ornamental plants.

April 5 (96th day) Me and Chibyusa are very sleepy on a sunday afternoon. Got our siesta time afterwards.

April 6 (97th day) Fresh melon slices Midnight snacking with my original girlfriends... Mama and sissy.

April 7 (98th day) A big power hug from my baby Chibyusa... ;3 ;3 ;3

April 8 (99th day) Food tripping again, gladly I bought this popular Japanese snack "Toppo" and the energy boosting soy milk. Not sorry for my selfies guys, with coffee and cheese and blueberry bread. Hashtag gourmand, and an outfit of the day pic. ;)

April 9 (100th) Grumpy Papi on a Lennon sunnies and my felt Hat.

Finally, my 14th week is done! It's getting hard for me to my 365 project day by day, but honestly, even I, am weeks far late, I really wanted to continue this. I hope you guys have a happy moment of your everyday life.

WEEK 9 || Cassie Thriftier's Journey to 365 Happy Days

Actually, this blog post is in my draft for about 3 weeks? Yeah 3 weeks.. oh my, such a long time since I haven't touched anything blog related or internet related. We're having a hard time with our internet connection, and when every time we had a speedy one, I am pre-occupied. *sighs* So I am now continuing my project, one of the things that keep me positive and kinda keeps me "sane".

58th day - (February 27)Early in the morning as I am tidying my room, I pick up a random purse that I've used 6 months ago and! I found few hundred peso bills...Yes, I'm that forgetful! I took reminiscing on the second picture during the early years of me and Michael's relationship. It was taken in the year 2010 where I still have my long and jet black hair and nurtured by hair treatments and rebond. Michael is not that healthy looking though because he really does have a very skinny body built way back. Lastly, the taste of the Zesto Fruit juice packed in foil drive me down in memory lane because Mama used to include this on my lunchbox when I was a kid.

59th day -(February 28) - This two two lovely ladies visited me at work on a cozy Saturday afternoon at my workplace. Yes, indeed, this mother and daughter disturbed me at work, but they give me the reason to spend a little time to relax and make our bonding worthwhile. My best friend and my Godchild.. Kathleen Marie and Cassandra Marie. ;)

60th day - (march 1) - Michael and I spent some time with nature early in the morning walking and jogging. Actually, somewhere under that bushy tree you will find my humble home. My family and I live in a suburb like community in a beautiful province of Rizal and that mountain range in the backdrop is the Sierra Madre which is the longest mountain range in the Philippines running from North to South direction from the province of Cagayan to the north, and to the province of Quezon to the south. It's 8:00 in the morning and we can still witness the lovely fogs just above the hills and rice fields. In the afternoon, we take a nap, Michael comforts himself on the couch and I'm perfectly can't get my forty winks on the floor. .Hmmf!

61st day (march 2) - I'm in search for a decent shoes for my bridesmaid dress on a local mall just around the city. When I found one, the sales lady is kind enough to let me fit the pewter colored strappy sandals inside a fitting room to see if it suits to the color of my bridesmaid dress. Thanks to my dear sister, she receive her back pay and bought me some goodies.

62nd day (march 3) - One of my college friends invited me to her son's first birthday. Seeing Jollibee (the mascot) again is so much jolly at heart.

Chibi wants more a little cuddle... When I got home, sometimes she's hilariously hyper and sometimes she's just as dramatic as a dog actress sort of thing.

63rd day (march 4) - Wednesday night make-up... Sometimes, um, not sometimes almost all the time, I prep my face before the end of the day. Imagine me working at the office totally no make-up and then I will sense this urge of "I need a color to my face" LOL!

64th day (march 5) - First time on Gym! Finally, I got my butt ready for this kind of work out, but I still do enjoy doing Zumba at home. Thank's to this girl behind me for giving me motivation and company along with my sister. Sorry for my sweaty face and crooked smile like "my thigh hurts and my arms are like ugh!"

There you go...Here's my 9th week. I hope you won't get tired of visiting my blog although I'm lacking Outfit post and my uber favorite Vintage Mondays... p.s: pardon me if my texts are not in uniform font size, I dunno know what had happen, but they're like that every time I have a slow internet connection.

March 27 (87th day) - "Just as sure as the stars keep burning in the sky your love will stay a flame in me. A flame that burns so bright not only through the night but Constantly". Every time I am hearing this song by Cliff Richard, it brings tears in my eyes because it reminds me of a fond memory with my father singing this on videoke. We didn't have that bonding anymore because I am too busy and he is too. When I say every time, it's every single time that I will cry silently... *sobs*

march 28 (88th day) Got the opportunity to take outfit shots outside, and I'm lovin my edgy details...

march 29 (89th day) - I don't know I guess I miss pictures here... Hay! I'm happily annoyed (I'm frowning but smiling)

march 30 (90th day) - My sissy snap a selfie with me caught me looking like stoned or something because I'm tired and all with that furry

march 31 (91st day) - Palm trees on sunset!! oh it's not actually palm trees, just a tree that looks like tall palm! Feeling on the Palm spring eh?!

April 1 (92nd day) - I transfer this spiky plant into a much larger pot, until now I still don't know i's name, I just know it's one of the succulents...

April 2 (93rd day) - So in the morning after breakfast I planted another plant for our outdoor ornaments. And in the evening me and Michael join the Penitential Annual walk that's Holy Thursday. So refreshing to the soul that the said event isn't just a "happening" per se but a spiritual activity too!

I'm happily cray cray now.... Talk to you soon with another outfit!

How's the world of blogging? A lot of things came around, and skipping blog duties is unavoidable for the kind of heavy schedule that I have. Sometimes I visit my instagram account for just a minute and went back to what I am doing away from keyboard on from the internet. Plus the procrastination when I am really dead tired. Here's my happy 8th week, and I an smell that I really rot on my draft. LOL!

51stday (Feb 20) - "Going where the wind blows". Chibi's feeling the fresh air ride going to the clinic for her follow-up check up. Good news too, because her infection has eliminated and her plates get back on itsnormal value. "Sighs' of relief from her dog mom. ;) ;) She's insanely hyper active again!

52nd day february 21 - "Dadee don't play with your food pls" I utter to Michael 'cause he mold the slice of bread into some funny face. "because I like Mickey Mouse" he chuckled.

53rd day february 22 - Don't know what eye make-up to wear, I snap a selfie early in the office. ;)

54th day february 23 - Another selfie shot but this time, selfie hair because I wanted to see how long is my hair already.

55th day february 24 - I don't know what happen on this day, but my camera phone starting to malfunction maybe because of low it's low memory. Well idk what had really special took place on this day. *sigh*

56th day february 25 - It's a holiday but a tiring yet kinda exciting day because it's our fitting day on the bridesmaid dresses for Michael's sister's wedding on 14th of March.

57th day february 26 - I found out that Michael had a soft copy of my somewhat "doodle"of his face, and I think I draw it like year 2011 or early 2013, such a long time, and I like his actuation about keeping little nothings that I did for him.

Maybe I won't able to post outfit shots for now, I am really preoccupied with the responsibilities that I carry outside the blog world. But I won't forget to snap happy memoirs of my everyday.
