Puzzle mode allows players to take their time and complete the puzzles, but they only have a limited number of blocks to solve the puzzle. The last mode is Eternity mode, where the blocks keep falling until the player can’t keep up any more.

Three Game Modes:

In the Panic Mode, players must clear each level by catching an appropriate amount of Spookies before the screen overfills.

Puzzle Mode is a relaxed mode with no stress – players must outsmart the Spookies’ clever puzzles and beat them in their own game using only a limited number of blocks.

Eternity Mode is a Tetris-inspired exhaust mode that just keeps going for as long as players can keep it at or reach the max-score of 9,999,999 points (that’s A LOT of Spookies to catch!).

Dingbats is a word/puzzle game for the iPhone/iPod Touch. The goal of the game is to solve the word or phrase presented to you on the card. The feature that makes it challenging is the phrases are given in clues. In other words, players will get a card that says Hot Handle twice. Players have to take that clue and figure out that the phrase is Too Hot to Handle.

Players have to use their brains and decode the clues. Once they think they know the correct answer, they click on the answer button and type the answer in using the iPhone/iPod Touch keyboard. If the typed in answer is correct, players will hear a dinging sound and the answer will be accepted. If the answer is incorrect, nothing will happen and the player will have to try again.

The quicker you can solve the phrase the more points you will receive. The points are divided into gold, silver and bronze. The gold will reward 100 points and as the time ticks away the points get less and less. There is a bar that displays the time left for solving the phrase. The bar will change in color as the time gets less and less giving an easy visual for the current point range.

The control mechanisms are easy to use. The player simply touches the card, which causes the card to flip over. The flipped over card has the clue to the phrase and an answer and cancel button. The answer button is touched to enter the answer. The answer button displays the keyboard and shrinks the clue so it is still visible on the screen.

Over all, Dingbats is a fan, but challenging game. Some of the clues are not too difficult to figure out, while other clues can be quite difficult. Every part of the clue can be used to get the phrase. All clues must be solved before players can move on to the next level. The game is entertaining and definitely passes the time. If you are into word games, you can not go wrong with Dingbats. The game offers plenty of fun and challenge.

Quinn and Flo are back and this time they are in an entrepreneurial setting. Quinn and Flo will be in a hotel setting and adventure.

Quinn and Flo are working in a hotel setting, but the business they are trying to get off the ground is a travel business. The girls will send customers to themed hotels and make sure the hotels cater to the guests needs. The game starts out in a run down hotel in Diner Town. Quinn and Flo have to keep the quests happy, which requires delivering luggage, handing off fresh towels and providing room service. That is not all, though, they will need to attend to room mishaps and customer whims too.

“Hotels are funny, and romantic and all about customer service,” said Kenny Shea Dinkin, Chief Creative Officer at PlayFirst. “With Hotel Dash: Suite Success, we’ve introduced a new vertical, timing element to the Diner Dash series, set against an exciting and spoofy hotel-culture backdrop. So with its set of new, quirky and demanding Dinertoon guests (sleepwalkers, anyone?) Hotel Dash has players strategically maneuvering to help the clientele across multiple floors of five hilarious hotels.”

Hotel Dash: Suite Success will be available for the PC and Mac on November 24th from PlayFirst’s website and other retailers on December 24th.

Press Release Follows:

SAN FRANCISCO – November 12, 2009 – PlayFirst®, Inc., the award-winning entertainment company, today announced the upcoming launch of Hotel Dash™: Suite Success™, a new addition to their best-selling Dash® time management series. Bringing an all new vertical twist to the patented time-management gameplay of the Dash series, Hotel Dash: Suite Success puts the well-known characters of Quinn and Flo™ into an all new hotel setting, with a new entrepreneurial hotel venture to tackle. Hotel Dash: Suite Success will be available at www.PlayFirst.com November 24th, and other retailers beginning December 24th, for PC and Mac Digital Download, priced at $19.99.

Players helps Flo launch Quinn’s new travel business by running themed hotels, managing the flow of new & familiar guests, and fulfilling their unique needs & requests – in order to earn tips to refurbish hotels. Starting with a ramshackle DinerTown™ hotel, players jump into a time management puzzle that sends them up and down the elevator, with a goal of keeping things in order to keep customers happy! Tasks include delivering luggage, handing off fresh towels and providing room service, while attending to room mishaps and customer whims. Players must travel from top floors to the lobby via the hotel elevators, ensuring smooth hotel operations and collecting tips upon checkout. Juggling customer demands with logistics and an ever-ticking clock, players must be strategic in organizing their time versus customers’ patience and personalities.

As the game progresses, players can manage customer temperament by delivering mood-brightening extras, like floral arrangement and gift baskets. With their earnings, players can then upgrade the rooms and common areas of the hotel, fully renovating them and expanding Quinn’s new business. As the business succeeds, Quinn and Flo tackle additional hotels, with themes ranging from ski retreat to city getaway, taking on new challenges and challenging new guest types.

Players get sucked in by trying to build a great city. The game has been a hit on Xbox Live and now PC players can enjoy the title.

“Bringing A Kingdom for Keflings to the PC audience has been a priority for us.” said Brent Fox, NinjaBee’s Art Director. “It’s been a runaway hit on XLA and we are offering the same, high-quality game on the PC. We are proud and we’re excited to finally make it available to so many of those who haven’t been able to play before.”

Creat Studios has announced the release of Bubble Trubble for the PSP, PSP Go and the PS3. The goal of the game is to match bubbles as they are floating down. Bubble Trubble combines match three type game play and puzzle game play.

The bubbles fall down and float around the screen according to the laws of physics and players have to match the colors of the bubbles. The bubbles that are matched meld together and form a bigger bubble until it pops and leads to great power ups. The bubbles that have not been matched will settle into the board and take up the available space. Bubbles keep falling until there is no more space left on the game board.

Players can play in survival mode or challenge mode. If you are into puzzle/match three type games, check out Bubble Trubble in the PlayStation Store.

Press Release Follows:

November 12, 2009 – Creat Studios (Canton, MA) today announced that Bubble Trubble is now available as a PSP® Mini title for PSP® and PSP®go. The title is available for download on the PlayStation® Store for the PSP®, PSP®go and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

A classic puzzle game with a unique twist, Bubble Trubble turns bubble popping fun into a competitive sport! Delightful bubbles freely float and naturally settle according to the laws of physics. Try to get the bubbles to match colors as they land. Like-colored bubbles fuse together as one, creating even larger bubbles. Get them big enough and “POP!” they go, opening the door to exciting combos while the remaining bubbles settle into the available space. But make sure to keep them popping, because if you run out of space for new bubbles, it’s game over! To avoid any Trubble, you’ve gotta burst your Bubble!

Bubble Trubble is a single player game with two modes of gameplay:

· Survival Mode allows players to achieve the highest score by matching and popping the increasingly faster onslaught of colored bubble clusters.

· Challenge Mode presents specific set tasks for players to enhance their skills, such as only popping certain colored bubbles or preventing bubbles from getting too big.

“Bubble Trubble presents an exciting new spin on puzzle games,” said Vladimir Starzhevsky, CEO of Creat Studios. “We are thrilled to release our second PSP® Mini game, and I know players will find Bubble Trubble to be delightfully addictive and a lot of fun.”

Bubble Trubble has been rated “E” for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board for this platform.

This time management game is a bit different from other games in the fact that you are helping monsters and not humans. They took the time management genre and added monsters, what could be better?

Players take on the role of Raoul, a dog boy that has loved to cook ever since he was a young puppy. He would spend hours with his grandmother making burgers. Raoul had to be creative with the ingredients because he didn’t have much money. Unfortunately, Raoul’s grandmother had an accident that she did not live through. She left Raoul all of her money and Raoul bought a burger van and started on his way to running his burger business.

Players need to help Raoul make his burger business the best in Monsterville. If you are into time managment/cooking style games, check out Beastie Burgers.

Press Release Follows:

Beastie Burgers, a free online Flash game, was released 30/10/09 by independent game developers Robot / Lizard Productions who are based in Sheffield, UK. You can play it here for free: http://www.robotlizard.com/games/beastieburgers/.
Beastie burgers is a time management / cooking frenzy style game where you play the role of Raoul, a dog boy trying to make his way through the prestigious locations of Monsterville to become the best burger chef the town has ever seen. The game is beautifully styled and has a quirky sense of humour, making it an interesting and enjoyable twist on the genre.
Ever since Raoul was a pup, he loved cooking. He’d spend hours making hamburgers with his Grandma in her kitchen. Being very poor Raoul often needed to be creative with his ingredient choices but he always made the tastiest burgers. He tried for a job at the best burger restaurant in town, but they wouldn’t even let him through the door. When his Grandma is killed in a terrible accident, she leaves all her underworldly possessions to Raoul so he can follow his dream of becoming Monsterville’s greatest burger chef. Raoul buys a burger van and sets himself up in business to prove to the underworld he can make it on his own.
