7:00 Have to take off pretty fast so I could still ride the company bus which leaves at
7:20.
7:50 Arrives at workplace.
8:00 to 10:30 Rushing to finish all for bank errand.
10:30 to 12:00 Working while waiting for lunch.
12:00 to 12:15 Eat my baon.
12:15 to 12:40 Tries to finish what I can before taking my power nap at
12:50.

1:00 to 5:00 Work. Work. Work.
5:10 The bus leaves the workplace.
6:00 Bus arrives at city proper.
7:00 to 9:45 Suppose to be with you.
10:00 Fetches mom from the store.
10:30 Leaves store
11:00 Arrives Home
11:00 to 12:00 mn go online/watch tv.
12:00 Sleeps up to
6:30.

It gets harder everytime. With all the pressure. I am tired. I get tired too. Complaining that I can't have time for everything doesn't help. Do I really have to choose?

I love window shopping without actually going to the mall, because where we live we don't really have that much places to shop. So I go window shopping online.

I'm craft-minded but I don't have all the time in the world to start what I wanted to do. I just keep on hoarding materials. :) I have a whole box of beads, charms, etc.

Shopping online has become a trend in the Philippines for the past months, shipping couriers are the ones which benefited the most.

Sometimes I panic with all the earthquakes and other natural disasters, but I don’t want to believe what my former boss keeps on talking about, the infamous “December 21, 2012”. Always leads us to the question, is the end near? What about the polar shift? The coming One-World Order, with the chaos in Middle East and then electing the so-called “KING”. My boss also mentioned that once the seven-year peace treaty is signed, that is the most significant mark of the beginning of the end, scary right? Speculations that it is going to happen, there are a lot; as to when exactly nobody knows.

After several weeks of denial, I finally “google-d” PHIVOLCS, there official website is http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/. It’s updated; monitoring the active volcanoes in the Philippines. Just like Japan, Philippines is situated in the RING OF FIRE. After the killer quake in Japan, more aftershocks are expected and for a longer period. There is really a lot to learn about the things that are happening, with the keywords, EARTHQUAKE, TSUNAMI, RING OF FIRE, DECEMBER 21, 2012, and many others.

We can only pray, that such fortuitous events will calm down.

I am going to be a writer. I am going to be a writer. I am going to be a writer. This is my mantra as of the moment, because I badly wanted to be a writer and get online technical writing jobs. I used to write. Endless scribbles, but they were all about love, love, love. I want to write for a purpose. I want to learn to write again, this time more serious, this time with an inspiration and a goal.

What happened today: I got my hair treated, and its going to look lanky for a couple of days, because I am not allowed to get it wet for three days.

P.S. Unleaded Gasoline will increase by 50 cents, its currently at 56.30! I should go back to commuting again and save gas, if only Steeltown jeepneys are a lot like Suarez jeepneys, then it would be less hassle and economical for me to ride jeepneys.

Special mention and prayers to the lives claimed by the killer quake and tsunami in Japan. In times like this, we can only pray. So please do.

2011 is to Job Hunting

The year has a lousy start because I no longer have a job to wake up to. My contract was ended last December 30, 2010, sadly. Now I am back to job hunting, asking friends, looking up the internet, but it is a bit hard to find a job in our city, where everybody knows everybody, and people have preferences, like, hiring someone because she is the daughter of a friend; because this person has helped the hiring officer in the past; well, who am I to complain, I was once a beneficiary of our town’s way of hiring people. I am hoping that I will be called in for an interview in a few days; I have applied in a prestigious company, which I have dreamed of being a part of.

I hope this blog will do wonders. Good luck for me. God knows the desires of my heart.

P.S. It's the love month already, which means a month has already passed me by, I have been very, very lazy.

White Water Rafting

Went water rafting last Tuesday, November 9, 2010. We booked through www.theredrafts.com as suggested by my cousin. She thought that it’s a good idea to try a new rafting company. Though I am not much of the risk-taker, for my sister and her boyfriend and the fun of doing things together with my loved-ones, I did!

I am afraid of water, simply because I don’t know how to swim, not really an excuse thought ‘coz life vests are provided for safety! I can’t really claim the scared part, since I did enjoy swimming (of course with my floaters on!) at Tinago Falls, Iligan City.

The first two rapids my tears began to flow, I have no idea how the raft would survive the rapids with us less experienced paddlers. Good thing, my mom knows how to use the paddle and she kept on instructing me. We just tried to be synchronized to keep the raft through the rapids and us onboard.

It ended two hours plus something. Tired, hungry and contented with the day's adventure. Changed to our dry clothes and waited for the jeepney to take us back to SM CDO, where we ate lunch and did a little shopping.

It was an amazing day, the rafting was what we talked about the following days. Just could't get over it! Look at the pictures again and again with a smile in our faces. :D

You're Beautiful - A Korean Drama

Just done with another Korean Drama, “You’re Beautiful”. I feel like a teenager again. Hwang-Tae-Kyung seemed dense and insensitive, but he is not, he cares about Go Mi Nam (Beauty) deep in him. He agreed to play Yoo He Yi’s boyfriend, just so she wouldn’t tattle on Go Mi Nam being really a girl. So the story goes, Go Mi Nam being a novice and trying to become a nun, is sweet and innocent, and got a huge crush on Hwang-Tae-Kyung! And she holds her nose up (as a pressure point), making her look like she has a pig-nose (hence the Pig-Rabbit), Manager Ma taught her to do this every time she wants to control her sudden emotions. She usually does this around Hwang-Tae-Kyung. It is only when he saw the pictures (one in which Go mi nam was looking at him holding her nose up) taken during their photoshoot that he realized that she was really into him.

The rest of the characters are awesome as well, Jeremy and Kang-Shin-Woo, also expressed their concern for Go Mi Nam. They were attracted to her and also tried to woo her, but she knows she can’t like any of them for she was set on becoming a nun. Plus its Hwang-Tae-Kyung’s presence that created fireworks for her.

If you want to know the ending, then you’ve got to watch it!

Go Mi Nam and Hwang-Tae-Kyung are the cutest couple ever!

I love it! I love it! I love it!

P.S. look at Hwang-Tae-Kyung hugging pig-rabbit, which he himself made especially for Go Mi Nam.

Oh, that lucky, lucky pig-rabbit!

There’s something we all ought to be inspired about, the CHILE MINERS SUCCESSFUL RESCUE OPERATION. A true example of leadership and unity, the success really started from the miners themselves. If they weren’t obedient with the given rules given such situation they wouldn’t have survived the 69 days and several hours. Biggest credits to the Chile Government for doing such great lengths to save the trapped miners with the help of American technology, everything went perfectly well.

It’s August! -ber months are coming! Here’s my way to “start the ball rolling”, a whole month December 2010 to plan ahead. It’s a time for merry-making and thanksgiving for everybody. If my dad won’t be able to come home for Christmas, then he’ll be in Philippines by majority of summertime instead; same with my sister. :D Anyway, wishlist anyone? Time to start window shopping for Christmas gifts!

My bestfriend is getting married! Yes, I have a part as the other maid of honor. She sent me a message asking if I already have a design in mind, because she wanted to finalize the designs of the gowns that are going to be used for her wedding. Of course, I haven’t thought about the gown yet, so I googled for her dress suggestion, a one shoulder dress and found this.

Iligan City, my birthplace, my home; from memory recall, Iligan has always been like this; meaning there have always been better days and days like this when you don’t know who to trust and made you think, Are we safe? There have been a series of brutality happening now. Where were the cops?

Just because no more bombs blew up, we stop being vigilant, what if it happens again? We always take for granted our peace and our safety. Now we have more notorious enemies. We might meet them on the streets one day and unsuspecting and trusting in the goodness of our neighbors as we, might actually be victims.

What’s hindering our progress? From Industrial City of the South, acclaimed City of Waterfalls, why are we moving backwards? Privatization of Plants, Outsourcing of Employees (would mean lower purchasing power, less benefits), Threats to Peace and Order, Worsening of Traffic, Unresolved Water Supply, increased number of Out of School Youth, etc. Is this the Iligan we are so very hopeful of?

Threats to Peace and Order, we are all a little scared, to that tambay over that kanto, that someone who looks like an adik, or that drunk, and thieves or bandits. Then there’s the bigger threat, those bad guys with guns, who would shot anybody who will resist. Worsening of Traffic is due to the never-ending-road-construction/reconstruction-your-taxes-are-working-for-you-bullish. Okay, can our taxes work for something else like school improvements? Will you, Iligan City Government just leave these improvements to donations of politicos? Wouldn’t that be insulting to you and to us taxpayers? Unresolved water supply; this has been a disturbing problem Iligan has, absurd that we are in the so-called City of Waterfalls. The most alarming of all is the increased number of out of school youth. What happens to “the hope of our nation”? What happens to them once they become full grown adults? And what happens to their offsprings?

Glee

Glee is an obsession. You will surely fall in love with the characters as well with old and new songs they sing. It’s one of the reasons I wished that I’m back in highschool. When kids are grouped into the popular and the not so popular; When Glee members are equated with nerds, and who knows what would have happened. When Gleeks (term used to mean a fan of GLEE) fight back to bullies by singing and dancing. When people think it not possible, but as Gleeks you do believe in your hearts that you can make it happen. You can make the Glee Club sound cool.

The latest buzz is that fellow Filipina; Charice Pempengco will be joining Glee next season. Oh-Eem-Gee! Proud that a Filipina made it to Glee, but I am not really a fan.

Threads and Colors; Papers and Scissors

I love crafts! I adore colorful things. It’s a passion, my unexplained bliss. Advantage: You have ready supply of ribbons, threads, beads of all sorts. Disadvantage: They just pile up, if not used. Storage space will slowly become a problem.

Creativity strikes anytime, but I have several unfinished projects. I need someone to teach me to make those crocheted bags, start and actually finish it. Once something starts to go wrong, I just stop when it feels like I’m in the middle of nowhere. I have a boxful of projects, unfinished and never got back on it again.

Prioritizing is one of my weaknesses. I’m turning 27 and yet I haven’t actually planned and do them in order of priority. I’ll get to it. I’ll start tonight.

I have scrapbooking materials. I have crochet threads. I have beading materials. What to do?

A Girl’s Thoughts

Sometimes we want to get out of our comfort zones, yet there are just too many considerations. We think too much that we forget to feel what we really want. We get tired, we complain, but we keep it to ourselves, maybe that’s why they say that a girl’s heart is a deep as the ocean, because we layered our emotions there. We are denial queens in our own ways. We hope. We hurt, but we never learn. We hope again, expecting for change, expecting that things will go our way.

There’s so much we can do. We can be our own bosses, but what are we still doing here? Slaving? Holding on to our patience and depending too much on our men? We have to do something too! We can be that change. One step at a time; one goal at a time; simple goals we could practice on.
