C.Bennett is proud to be showcasing his latest body of work entitled "Slice of life" at the Famous World Market Center in Las Vegas this week.

C.Bennett: "After a long month in the studio I am overly excited to showcase my latest series in such an amazing and prestigious Venue. With over 1,500 vendors and 50,000 attendees at the convention it’s a sure thing that my work will be view by thousands.

What is the “Slice of Life” series about and what does it mean to you?

C.Bennett: this series was really fun and amusing for me. Its full of lightheartedness and simplicity yet has a lot of personal meaning to who I am and why I carry myself with such cheerfulness and joy. I use a mix media approach using a vibrant & stimulating color palette mixed with subject matter that represents myself. Lots of my subject matter for this series consisted of animal, characters, pianos and trees all in turn represent myself & how I see the world around me today.

How does it feel to showcasing at such a world renowned Venue where so many people will come in contact with your work?

C.Bennett: WoW…. It feels amazing! It’s really indescribable. Since day one I’ve always wanted to connect with people and make them smile just a little bit through my art. This is a huge opportunity for me to do just that on an enormous scale. There’s really no better feeling for me than connecting with someone giving them an insight to the positive and lively person I am solely through the color, texture, feel and message of my art. Being such a fresh new face to art scene its really a great experience and opportunity for me to get outside my typical crowd and interact with such a large and diverse group of viewer. I have to give a big thanks to all my supports but especially to my #1 Ryan Mahoney Sponsorship Manager at World Market Center Las Vegas for making this dream possible. Couldn’t have done it without you buddy. Thanks

Jeffrey Catherine Jones

Jeffrey Catherine Jones (born Jeffrey Durwood Jones, January 10, 1944 – May 19, 2011) was an American artist whose work is best known from the late 1960s through 2000s. Jones provided over 150 covers for many different types of books through 1976, as well as venturing into fine art during and after this time. World renowned illustration artist Frank Frazetta called Jones “the greatest living painter”. Although Jones first achieved fame as simply Jeff Jones and lived for a time as male, she later changed her name and was legally recognized as female.

An LA Vaca just for the night. We started with checking in to the Ritz Milner for a little pre-party and photo-shoot on the roof. Soon we made our way to seven and grand, the coolest whiskey bar in the city, for a little pre-show old fashion and a round of pool. For the Highlight of the night we made our way to USC's original 1925 Shrine Auditorium. The "other lives" opened up and really set the tone high. Bon iver took the stage and blew the minds of a sold out crowd.

Super Excited to have a great gallery spot down in Costa Mesa off Newport Blv and 18th st. California Science Center

On the quest to see all the major museums L.A. has to offer Colee and i headed to USC campus. With lots to see we first headed to the Science center where they have an amazing Ecosystems exhibit. My favorite was the salt water aquarium.
After taking lots of time trip out in Colees favorite "the infrared room" we headed over to the iMAX theater to see the Hubble 3D. "Mind blowing" seriously i urge everyone to see it 5 times.
After the iMax we walked to the Museum of natural Science to see some Bones,we even snuck into the upcoming Dinosaur exhibit. "breathe taking" thanks Marsh and Cope. Wish you guys hadnt killed each other.
