We are pleased to announce the CDS East Bay Chapter’s annual silent online auction featuring fabulous items for you, your horse, and your equestrian friends! The auction will run from November 9th to 17th via online auction site 32Auctions.  Bidding instructions and a special auction URL will be sent out later this Fall. 

Our Chapter’s mission is to offer our membership educational opportunities via either zoom or in-person clinics, and to make them available at low or no cost to our members and  participants. In addition, we sponsor rider scholarships to attend the CDS JR/YR and AA clinics, as well as our very own Open Rider Grant for Championships and Grant for JR/YR CDS Membership. This auction will help us raise funds to support these ongoing efforts, as well as a support for our year end educational social. 

We are currently seeking donations from our members, trainers, and barn owners as well as outside companies. Please note if you donate to the auction, you will become a Chapter Sponsor for 2025.  If you would like to join in the fun and contribute, please fill out the attached Donor form and return by October 15th to: Cynthia Rowland.

Ride a test – try a new level – work on those tough moves – get a score and comments from “S” judge and L Program Facility Member Lisa Schmidt and never leave home.  EBCDS Virtual Show gives any rider the opportunity to ride a test in the privacy of their own barn.  Avoid the expense and stress of trailering, warming up at a new venue, braiding, show clothes – all those things that make showing exciting but also expensive and exhausting.

CDS East Bay is also offering a High Point Award for riders that compete in all three shows in 2024. Prizes are still being developed, but you have to compete in 2 out of 3 shows to qualify.

Come socialize with your fellow dressage chapter members and enjoy a casual fun-filled evening featuring Cocktail Hour, Catered Buffet Dinner, Yes/No Fashion Show Down Center Line, Century Ride, Live Auction and Interactive Tack Room!

RSVP: by September 25th. The event will be held at a member’s private residence. Please sign up early as a maximum of guests is 75. Ample parking will be available with parking attendants!
