Zebra Rain Coat by Martha Stewart Pets

Hey everyone! I'm back with a new outfit to show you. I know what you are thinking. How can she afford all of these wonderful clothes. Well I'm sorta...jobless. I know how dare I even announce that! Since Martha sent me this rain coat I figured she might see how good I look in her clothes and hire me for her ads.

You can find all of the line at PetSmart and Martha Stewart Pets. My friends at Martha Stewart sent me a few things to add to my wardrobe. Today I am wearing the zebra rain coat in the picture above.

My mom is always "directing" me when she takes my pictures and thank goodness I learned how to listen at a young age. She says "down, look up, stay" and as you can see in the picture above. I do exactly what she wants.

See Martha! I will do great for a photo shoot.

I'm usually smiling in all of my pictures but since I am wearing ZEBRA stripes today I am feeling "New Yorkish" and elegant. I usually move around and when I here STOP I seriously STOP in whatever pose I am in.

Sometimes mom say's "Dat's a babbby girlll" and I know I am doing it right.

My favorite thing about this rain coat is how it fits on my body. It fits around my front legs and my back legs. You can see in the picture below how it works. So when it's raining super hard it will not fall off. I think my tail is super cute.

I know what you are thinking. Why am I not facing the camera like I usually do. I don't know what's my problem lately. Every time my mom squats down and says..."Mommmmmma got new clothessss for the babyyyyy" my insides get excited and nervous at the same time. Who cares right. I am just a dog who is super spoiled and wears name brand clothes.

I swear I usually love what my mom puts on me but this time I was just not loving it. It was too tight and not the shad of pink that makes me look good. I think I have a good shape, right?

Apparently American Apparel thought I needed this hoodie. I promise when I loose a few pounds and this sucker fits loosely like it's supposed to I will get mom to take more pictures of me. Because let's face it. I'm a pretty cool dog and American Apparel is a pretty cool store. Put us together and you will get a huge happy situation.

I know that I am facing the opposite way but this is the perfect time to show you that there is a hole in the back of the hoodie for a leash. How cool is that!

My new FOX RUFFLE TEE by Martha Stewart Pets

Hey everyone. It's me, Ceaux Ceaux. I am going to make this short and sweet only because I am trying to hide from my mom. You are probably wondering why I need to hide. It's not like I can hide for long because as soon as I hear a loud whistle from her I come running from my hiding spot strait to her.

You would think I would be smart huh! Well the reason I am posting today is to show you some of my new clothes. My friends at Martha Stewart sent me a few things to add to my wardrobe. Thanks Y'all! I am wearing the Fox Ruffle Tee in the picture above. Is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen? My mom kept saying "Oh my word, Oh my godddd, Oh my whatever"... over and over. During the photo shoot I would look at her with my "sad eyes" sometimes even though I wasn't sad. When she see's those eyes she gives me extra attention. What can I say. Dog's need their confidence boosted too.

I am actually really excited about this shirt, as you can see in the picture below.

This is me starring strangely at something or someone. I think my mom was telling me to "STAY" and I just stopped dead in my tracks. With a mom who is a full time blogger I have learned to stop, drop and roll as soon as the camera gets near me.

What? Another dog? Mom hide me. My friends can't see me wearing this outfit, they won't sniff under our gate anymore.

I do love the buttons on this shirt. I think it's real wood. Maybe Martha carved it herself! I wish my mom would have taken off my collar for the pictures.

Yes. Here is your final picture. You can see just how big my muscles are in this picture! I look like a true southern belle.

How to get your mom's attention

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show you a quick picture of what I do at night. Mom just went to the bathroom so I grabbed her phone and sent this picture to my email. Yes. I know. I am a dog with an email. What can I say! See how I bend my paws? Wanna know why I do this. Because it makes me look sad and lonely and when I look sad and lonely my mom always gives me extra attention. I wish she could hear me laughing inside... but she cant!

Gotta run. I see birds outside!

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you. Martha Stewart sent me some fabulous clothes from her new spring collection so look out for some runway pictures of me this week.

So a while back the weather was pretty scary. Well not for me but the humans were freaking out. I think it was some kinda big storm coming. Who's scared of a storm??
ME.

Yeah my mom has to always give me the natural pills so I don't FREAK out.

You know, I start panting so much that there is a puddle by me, my eyes start twitching, I OVER LICK my body, did I mention breathing really heavy, walk all over the house over and over and over and over. My mommies always yell at me because I think it get's annoying on the wood floors.

Let's see what else I do. I hide under the bed and when they try to get me out I just stare at them like I am a homeless dog on the side of the road and I don't want to go with these strange people. I try to drink water but because my tongue is stuck out side of my mouth from panting drinking water is not possible.

So I just described me "during" a storm.

I don't think I told you about me "before" a storm. Before I know that my socks will be rocked off all night and I won't get a second of sleep.

Mom took my brother to fly his kite and it's obvious I was

a)enjoying the weather

b)being sexy

c)scratching my back on the cement

I know what you are thinking, how can I roll on my back, twist my hips and stick my tongue out at the same time. I wonder that too sometimes.

I love when the wind lightly sends my ear's upward. It kinda makes me look TOUGH.

Time to twist my hips back and forth on the ground again!

I wear my sunglasses at night

Ok. My mom is sleeping, well not really but I am just gonna pretend she is. She is really washing the dishes so I gotta hurry. See, my mom always has stylish things but she doesn't share with me. I know. Exactly what I am screaming. What? You know about my closet full of clothes...

HOW? I never told you about that.

OK. FINE. So I do have stylish things but she never ever bought me sunglasses. Why do people think just cause we are dogs out eyes don't hurt when the sun is in them?

Bottom line. I tried to steal her glasses one day because
a) I wanted to be cute for this other dog that passes by the fence every day

and

b)Because the sun was in my eyes. Ok. not really but that sounded good too.

See below, I can't even open my eyes. I was trying to take this picture of myself but it was kinda hard.

Lemme tell you, once I put these glasses on I felt like it was night time and passed out.

Then I heard the back door open. I freaked. They fell on the ground and I tried to hurry and pick them up so mom wouldn't be mad. I mean it is a pair of her Ray Bans. She will flip if they are dirty.

I think I am busted. See how I am looking the other way? I am giving off this look like I have NO idea they are on my face. Is it working?

Man. I am trying to be so still and I just felt them slipping off more and more.

Yeah. Mom is looking at me and I am looking the complete other way.
This is an EPIC fail.

Hey my little friends. It's me. Ceaux Ceaux. I couldn't wait to show you these pictures. Mom is always telling me not to lay on her things and I did! Haha. I mean doesn't she know she is just living in my world. I'm practically a queen. Shoot's. I don't even fix my own food how can she expect me to NOT lay on her things? Humans are just silly.

So my mom got aggravated the other day and threw this thing I am sitting on, on the floor. I think the strings broke and every time she went to sit down it would move and that's why she threw it. She thinks I don't notice those things! Again, silly humans.

My pop was here and they were talking so I went in for my move. I planned it all out before it happened. I knew if pop was here she wouldn't fuss TOO much at me. I also knew if I went for the pillow when they were in the middle of talking she totally wouldn't notice. Silly humans.

She noticed...but I still won.

Why does my mom do this to me. I think she thinks just because I can't "talk", that means she can do whatever she wants with me! What does she think I am? Some furry doll. I mean I am cute. I don't think there are any "superstar" dog's out there. Maybe MOM was trying to do something for my future! Enjoy these pictures because I think this will NOT happen again for a while!

Do you see how I am giving my mom the side view? This is my way (since I can't talk) of saying NO, I am not looking at the camera so you can take silly pictures of me.

I know your prolly shaking your head saying.... oh now she wants to come back. I'm sorry. I went off to college for a couple of months. Isn't that what people do when they grow up? Mommies told me I had to. When I was on Martha Stewart my mom told Martha that I was "just a dog" and I didn't go to school. You know she was talking about my blog people. Because I used to not be able to spell correctly and I didn't ever put capital letters. UHH HUMM.... Are you noticing something different? Grammer? NO?

Well I took a few pictures of me while I was in college. Yes, I was ALWAYS tired. Watch!

Can you see that I have a "hey nawwww back up with that camera" look on my face? Mommies wanted to "document" my whole college experience. Women.

Check this one out! Bet you didn't know I could open my mouth that big huh. That was a BIGGG yawn. Check out my tongue.

Mom just HAD to take a picture of my mole with a hair coming out of it under my chin. Just for the record. Who does that. Rude.

Suede Doggie Coat

Tools and Materials

1/3 yard of fabric (for a 20-pound dog)
Scissors
Erasable fabric marker
Four buttons
Needle and thread

I used some felt because it’s very affordable and you can choose from LOTS of colors! I just used two sheets of felt and sewed them together because Co is long!

After you sew the felt together it’s time to cut your strips that go around the neck and across the bottom!

This is what your strip should look like after you cut it. Drape over dog. Mark where buttons will hold the straps, across the lower neck and behind the front legs.

I used some old vintage buttons that I had. Sew buttons onto main piece; cut slits in straps. (As dog grows, make longer straps.)

Ceaux Ceaux was so distracted. I wonder if dog’s can be ADD! This thing on her is SOO funny!

She was SO awkward and didn’t know how to move! She just stood there and moved her eyeballs!!! To think there were people out there that didn’t love this dog like she needed to be loved is unreal to me! She’s just amazing!

Seriously. How could you not love this face! I swear she did NOT move until I took it off! I hope this craft is fun and easy for you!

The life of a dog....

my mom works alot. she blogs alot. when she is blogging i usually give her a signal that i would like to sit next to her. so she pulls one of my beds by her. and this is what i do.

yes. this was over a period of 5 hours.

who? me? yes. i like to poke my nose out every once in a while to let my mom know i am breathing.

where is co? my mom tucks me in every night but now i am so smart i know how to use my nose to cover myself. i think im a natural.

oh I forgot to tell you. my nanny bought us this little trampoline.. (i think it was for exercising) but i totally stole it. it is now my outdoor bed. when anyone tries to take it i just look at them with those eyes. you know. my puppy dog eyes. even thought I am a house dog. I still have to be comfy outside... bye.

i have to get ready for this sunday! they have bark in the park and they are pulling for next years court... keep your fingers crossed!!!!

Is shaved pumpkins the same thing as shaved ice?

hey. my mom carved my picture. wanna see.

oh and i ate pumpkin shavings all night.

mom kept fussing at me but i kept sneaking them.

i wonder how she knew. maybe because the ground was clear and free of any shavings at all.

oh well. it was good.

going stand by my pumpkin because i need to let that dog know who's the boss around here.

Yes, we love LSU! I mean we are from the south! Here are the pumpkins! See the white one? That is mine! The one with glitter on it is from one of my 100 days of Martha! Click HERE if you want to see the whole post.

Yummy!!! A pumpkin mouth!

What you want to do first is print out the template for the witch. I attached a link below for you. Then use a ice pick to outline the image by making dots. This will make it a lot easier for you to carve and shave the pumpkin.

This is what my pumpkin looked like after I dotted it all up! I actually like it just like this. Our lovely bonfire to make the night cozier.

You want to start by "shaving" with the linoleum cutter the areas that are light orange. Feel free to do more! Oh, I did the other side of my pumpkin with jaderbomb on it!!!

I wanted to share with you my little nugget's pumpkin. She did CEAUX CEAUX!!!!

OH! And we lit some sparklers to add to the festivities!

Tadahh... Sorry if they look blurry. I had to turn my flash off so you could see it lit up. How cute! I LOVE the witch!

Ceaux Ceaux loved her little baby pumpkin. Her and her silly tongue. She always has that baby out!

Ahh.... So elegant and majestic, right! She is silly! But we love her to pieces! I hope you enjoyed this craft! And if you want to do one for tonight and you don't have a cutter, you can get one at your local craft store!!! Michael's usually has anything you are looking for... Check Walmart! Oh and if you do a pumpkin and your light does not show through good, shave off more of the inside with a scraper (or a spoon). You might have to make the pumpkin thinner in the area you are carving.

Spider Dog, Spider Dog, does whatever a Spider Dog does....

hey. check out my costume my mom made me. it's awesome. i think i can fly in it.

ok going fly.

(this is what my mom put on her blog. i stole it)

You will start by downloading the template on Martha Stewart's website. (link below)
Don't forget to get your black and orange felt! Once you cut out your template designs place them on your fabric to get ready for the next step!

Get your scissors and some chalk!!

Take your chalk and trace around the template. Cut the designs out.

Place them together and sew, leaving a little slit for you to turn them inside out. (put the good sides of fabric facing each other before you sew) Tadahhhh!!!

Fill each nugget up then sew the slit SHUT!

Next thing you want to do is sew the legs onto the center piece. I just used a needle and thread for this part. I used an outfit I made for Ceaux Ceaux last year but you can use a plain dog tshirt in whatever color you want!

Look how cute this baby is! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I didn't expect it to be this cute for some reason!

Ceaux Ceaux is so funny! She has my personality and you know it! She totally didn't want to take this picture and she kept looking up! She's like her mother!!! Look how cute it is just sitting on her back!!

She kept running away from me and I was just chasing her like a crazy mom!

SERIOUSLY. Is this not the CRAZIEST picture you have ever seen!!! SO NOT PLANNED!
She was yawning and I just clicked away. Totally perfect! I think this means she loved the costume so much she wanted to make a great face! What do you think! Post comments below, co loves comments!

hey everyone! it's a good day today. the sun is out and there are alot of lizards playing. i just wanted to show you this post from last year's howwwlll-oween. my mom wanted to dress like me so she make her eyes have black all around them. you know she calls me an egyptian terrier. she says because i have permanent eye liner. she always tells me how lucky i am that i don't have to do my make up every day.

she said i am so pretty.

what do you think?

I must say this was a remarkable Halloween! It was Ceaux Ceaux's first one and she rocked it!!! She walked up and down the streets like she owned them and she rocked her glittered/feathered t shirt!! I even decorated my eyes to resemble hers!!! I look forward to many more great memories with this wonderful dog!!!

ok. so i like to smell things. i overheard my mom say to someone that i have beagle in me. who knows.

sometimes when i smell something i forget about everything else.

i really like smelling leaves.

hey. it's me ceaux ceaux. i was cleaning my computer out and found these pictures. i can't believe i forgot to tell you about this night! boy do i hate storms. i was traumatized as a child. but that was when i was living the ruff life. now my new adoptive family is the best.

hey my little furry friends. you won't believe this. my mom was on "martha stewart" and so was i! well not really. but i hear my mom tell someone that they were gonna be doing a fun craft and that they would be using my picture. can you imagine, me..... a dog star. and to think i used to run the streets eating scraps of food. now my mom has me on a special food diet. i can't eat any corn. or i will throw up.

so i went in my moms computer and stole everything below!

hey y'all. let me just tell you that the weather here is awesome! like it's so hot and humid no humans even come outside. us animals have it all to ourselves. the only problem is.. when my mom is home she stays INSIDE. i think because she is HOT outside.

yes. that means i am inside too. i get the whole baby talk all the time but i don't get keeping me inside.

help me people. i need fresh air! i need fresh lizards in my mouth. oh speaking of lizards, my mom always fusses as me because i am "killing" them. i am a dog mom. so here are some pictures of me being delirious inside.
